Poor customer service

Hotel is close to airport (10 min drive) and opposite beach. Housekeeping staff were lovely. Porter helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and plenty of toiletries.

Check-in staff were cold (no greeting, no smile). We booked for 6 adults and 1 child (aged 7) including breakfast but were told that breakfast was not included for the child and we had to pay extra. Despite showing my booking.com confirmation email stating breakfast was included for us all, staff said they could not accommodate this and to contact booking.com to resolve. Eventually the receptionist agreed to give breakfast as booked, but this was an issue every morning with restaurant staff with whom we had to argue. The final morning we had to leave at 5am to catch a flight and staff advised they would prepare us take-away breakfast boxes. Upon check-out we were told we were not entitled to these as the child had had breakfast every day. Breakfast issue was farcical and reception staff had no sense of customer service. Room was dirty on arrival although housekeeping did a good job during our stay. On-site restaurant very expensive.

Great place for a few days relaxing at the beach and pool.

The resort was a bit dated, but well-kept, with a really nice traditional style and lovely grounds. It was really suitable for relaxing, and the staff was very friendly. I quite enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It had a fairly wide variety of food choices. The area was very close to the beach, which was surprisingly well-groomed, and a nice walking path. There was also a convenience store on the resort, which was very helpful.

The two issues I had with hotel itself was that there appeared to only be 2 restaurants actually open for dining after breakfast. I only ever saw the Chinese restaurant and the hotpot bbq restaurant open. The food was good, but a bit expensive to eat every night. There didn’t seem to be a huge variety of restaurant options close to the resort. The other issue was that the spa was apparently a victim of the pandemic shutdown, and has not been reopened despite being featured in the resort advertising. The area itself is great if you want to relax at the beach or around the pool, but it was a bit far away from shopping, sightseeing, dining choices, etc. While I’m not a nightlife person, I did miss having a wide selection of restaurants available.

Exceptional

I really love the hotel itself. It's very beautiful. It's right beside a beach, the pool is amazing. Amazing buffet breakfast as well as option for buffet style dinner. But most importantly, this stuff where extra nice and extra helpful. Especially Wang ziling or lean. He went Out of his way to make sure my stay was as comfortable as I can possibly imagine he even.took the extra steps to check on me every day. This was definitely worth the stay. I would definitely be back.

Only one person speaks English and the rest of the staff wouldn’t even try to, room service you would call and 10 minutes later the only person that speaks English will call back. poor breakfast for westerns, bur if you like Chinese breakfast you will love it.

I didn't like this place at all. Stuff were nice!

Chicken bones in the room on the floor when I arrived.... it means, they didn't clean up properly. Breaksfast is low quality

Cleaning was on a high service. Room service is for you. Huge swimming pool (but only around 80 cm deep), nice breakfasts, fitness gym

Most of the additional places, like duty-free shop, roof bar, Chinese restaurant, all day dining restaurant, ice cream bar, coffee/drinks bar was closed. I understand that it's probably because of not so many people in hotel, but still, you come there, read what do they have and in real life they don't.

Very good international breakfast, good service room with delicious Beef burgers.

Too many restrictions in swimming pool, hotel staff speaks mainly in mandarin, only few staff persons communicate in English. Not enough restaurants around hotel.

Is near the airport and in front of the beach, the access to the beach is close by and the looks of the hotel reminded me.of Thailand

You need to cross the road to access the beach, there were no beach towels available in the beach area and there were no ma many shops around. The toilet in the bedroom kills all romanticism. Is basically open to the room so there is no notice / visual barrier other than a small glass

Stay away from everything

Room is super big with all that you may need, nice sea view, super clean. Staff are friendly, they try to help according to their abilities. Swimming pool is clean and big. Although the water is a little hot but it is ok Breakfast is typically Chinese but still tasty.

Location is far from any attraction, it is close to nothing. Beach is ok but you have to cross the street that has no crosswalk. No beach towels, you have to carry your own all the journey from your room to the beach . No toilet near the beach, so hold on till you go back to your room. Zero English. Nobody speaks a word in English. Reception is so small so hot

Nice area to stay

Although the hotel is not close to where the foreign friendly places are, the area is quiet and the beach is clean and clear. The staff is super helpful.

They weren’t able to provide a HDMI cable.

Amazing pool, huge rooms, and beautiful grounds and view.

Very large and comfortable rooms with spectacular views of the ocean. The pool was absolutely amazing--complete with slides and a giant hot tub and a cool obstacle course. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was awesome too. Definitely coming back. The beach across the street was one of the best we found in all of Sanya!

There were some minor cleanliness/repair issues with the room, but overall a wonderful resort.

Family Vacation

Immaculately clean and extremely spacious 3 bed apartment, with an enormous outside bath! Room service was fabulous. The staff were amazingly helpful.

Breakfast was adequate but not amazing. There were very few options for dinner at the hotel unless you ordered room service, which was good, but limited in choice. We ate out most evenings. There was a bar but it didn’t have many of the drinks listed. The beach was across the road, so no direct beach access or drinks on the beach! Not exactly as depicted in the write up.

Enjoyed our stay and loved the breakfast

The bathtub on the balcony. High floor and got a good view. Big swimming pool with decent amount of chairs. Excellent choice of food at breakfast, many coffee machines around and lots of seats.

The reception needs better organization. There was no “queue”. When we arrived, there was 2 receptionists, one on the left and one on the right, both helping guests, and no receptionists in the two middle spots. I didn’t know where to stand! Sorry to say, but “Chinese” guests don’t queue, so they just barged in to the receptionists.

Staff are wonderful and try their best, even if not many have English they use translators on handy to try their best

Missing the trimmings. I. E. Cocktails don't have fruit etc just the raw mix
