Hôtel qui pourrait servir d'exemple aux hôteliers qui peinent à trouver la clef de la réussite

Je voyage fréquemment en France et je dois admettre que l'hôtel "Les Balladins" de Dieppe souffre difficilement la comparaison avec d'autres hôtels de même catégorie du fait des nombreux aspects positifs de cet hôtel. Les chambres sont bien conçues, spacieuses (entre autres la salle de bains, l'espace bagages, la tablette de la chambre) et bien équipées, la propreté est de rigueur, le calme règne, le parking offre suffisamment de places, ce qui n'est pas souvent le cas ailleurs. Le personnel est réactif si on fait appel à lui et sait rester discret autrement. Si je mets un certains temps à trouver l'hôtel qui me convient dans d'autres villes, ce qui néanmoins n'exclut pas de mauvaises surprises, je ne connais pas cet inconvénient pour Dieppe; sans hésiter, je réserve sans perdre de temps à l'hôtel "Les Balladins", qui de plus, offre un rapport qualité/prix remarquable. Je pense qu'il faut souligner qu'une bonne part des aspects positifs provient de l'implication des gestionnaires, tout est en ordre dès l'arrivée (accueil) jusqu'au départ de l'établissement, témoignant d'un suivi permanent: pas de petits détails parfois trop fréquents dans certains hôtels qui auraient pu être rectifiés.

It was cheap, so we got what we paid for really.

Location is fine for a one night stopover. Bar/Restaurant 3 minutes walk away.

Bed was too hard. The place itself seems to be an old Campanile. No restaurant on site. Any noise/talking from other rooms is easily heard.

Handy for Ferry

Great for the ferry, I have stayed before and is as I remember. Language a bit of a problem but, with my poor French and the good-natured attitude of the receptionist. who used his phone to translate, any problem was easily overcome.

Room was big enough for an overnight stay. I stayed four nights however it was only cleaned the three nights the last day the cleaner left towels but did not return to clean the room although we had vacated by 1030. It was cold until I complained and eventually the radiator was switched on. It is an ideal place to stay if one is catching or leaving the ferry and it is very easy to drive into the centre of Dieppe. Restaurants and supermarkets are close by. Would recommend this hotel

Perfect for our purpose, good value

Arrived late from ferry, so able to enter automatically. Room clean and adequate storage, as only staying 1 night. Good breakfast next morning. Staff friendly Perfect for a 1 night stop, having just arrived by ferry, and planning on a long drive the next day. Good value.

Great value budget hotel

A good quality basic hotel, no frills but clean comfortable bedroom, excellent shower, good parking, friendly receptionist and a decent continental breakfast. Close to Dieppe centre and Ferry Port , within easy reach of shopping. Not 5 star but good budget accommodation.

Family stopover before getting Ferry home

Ideal location for catching the ferry home to England. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was continental and was very good. Value for money. Would use again for overnight sleep.

Disappointing as we expected a bit better

The hotel was very careful to inform us of problems with the late key collection arrangement. The buffet breakfast was good and plentiful.The hotel is on a main road out to Rouen so we could leave easily in the morning

The room was shabby and felt very run down. Arriving late it was difficult to work out the room numbers and find our room. It was also difficult to find the shutter info on the back of the second door after having arrived after 23hrs.

Good overnight stop

We had a newly refurbished room that was a pleasure to stay in. We were on the ground floor as we had a dog so outside access was great. The buffet breakfast was good and plentiful in a large room with a very nice outside terrace to watch the hens and rabbits .

The hotel is tricky to find and looks very run down from the outside . The shutter instructions are a challenge as the room info is not well placed.

Friendly, cosy and as expected.

Very clean, friendly staff and a great breakfast selection. Only a 30 min walk from Dieppe and easy to access the ferry port. Supermarkets close by and a couple of eating places.

Convenient, but not the best for comfort.

The location is perfect for the ferry. There was plenty of parking, and check in was easy and friendly. The shower was great, very big, with strong warm water. Bed was a good size and smaller single bed was put in the room too, for our child, which was convenient. Room was nice and dark at night too, thanks to shutters on window.

Room was very small for 3 people - if we were all adults it would have been a squeeze. Neighbours were very loud quite late at night and we could hear everything. Very tired decor, towels old and quite worn. Bed was quite hard, and not very comfortable.
