would not use this hotel again, no facilities except vending machine

as we had a small dog with us we were unable to have a snack in the area provided but a staff member prepared a meal for us and delivered it to our room.

The room was soo hot, the aircon is broken and seems to be forever and the room was a sauna in minutes.

clean and tidy and handy for the port

place was fine and really handy for the port with a nice restaurant near by

There was a school party staying they were in the room above ours and made quite a bit of noise into the small hours which spoiled our sleep

The duty receptionist was exceptional, and the breakfast was excellent.

We had to rely on the kindness of a local to direct us to the hotel late at night. We think you should make sure that hotel addresses are prominently displayed on downloads etc, so that they can be entered on sat-nav easily.

Ok place to sleep over with your pet just outside of Bilbao with plenty of parking around

Clean rooms, helpful and attentive staff. Nice neighborhood to walk around with dogs, plenty of parking space. Quiet location.

The room was tiny, with a tiny shower and a tiny bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy though. I understand that when the name of the hotel says "budget" you are not going to expect a whole lot. My only comment would be that to compete with airbnb some hotels may need to change. For the same price at airbnb you can get a nice apartment/room with kitchen and fridge and a decent bathroom. We chose ibis just to give also some opportunity for the hotels to make some money, but otherwise we still prefer airbnb.

Welcomibg reception and what you'd expect

It's a budget hotel, and with that in mind it delivered all that was expected. Reception staff was welcoming and helpful, which was great.

A hot summer night stay where it was impossible to sleep.

The parking is free.

We stayed in June and while we specifically booked a room in this hotel because they mention AC, there was no AC in the room. Only central ventilation that did nothing, while inside the room was around 26 degrees. So sleeping was extremely uncomfortable.
