Loved our stay here. Perfect location

Location is fabulous! Great ocean views and access to the beach. Saw the whales. Good walking tracks available.

Was very happy I booked unit and stayed at Cabarita. Is a beautiful location. Had a wonderful time!

The view and location were wonderful. Beds were comfortable. The deck was a good size too...

Carpet seriously needs to be renewed, although it was clean. However the stair case carpet walking up to unit, it really stunk bad of mold, and that is very unhealthy. We put our towels over our noses walking up the steps to the unit I had booked.

Disappointed

Nice location. Room was spacious.

Bedroom was ridiculously hot. Air con unit was put in the lounge and did not reach the bedroom. I was offered (and chose) an upgrade to oceanview room through booking.com and the hotel did not honour it. Instead we ended up in a room facing the back of the hotel. Room is outdated. Said it had a dishwasher, but did not. Personally I would not select this hotel again.

Glad to leave because I couldn't move from my room the whole time I was there.

View. Location to facilities.

Having to walk up 4 flights of stairs when I need a walking stick to walk. No lift in the building. Bathroom basin was only made for someone who is 6 feet tall. Shower had no where to put soap. Overall the bathroom was crap.

It served its purpose of being somewhere to sleep.

Location

Very worn down. Dirty blinds in room. Couldn’t get TV or internet to work. Shower pressure terrible. Shower screen doesn’t open over towel on floor for bath mat so water everywhere. No exhaust fan in toilet or bathroom. Bunk beds mattress very uncomfortable. Terrible communication from staff about check in.

Don’t stay in room 23, in fact avoid the place!

not much

customer service was not good, room had problems with a busted tv and a leaking fridge. place wasn’t clean, found used drink bottles in the cupboards and beside the bed. was there for four nights and asked to get another room but got told “ we only move people in an emergency. Told them about the issues and they said “ ok we will block if off to anyone else “. Had to Harass them to get some sort of refund, took the $100 just because I couldn’t be stuffed to let it get in the way as we were dealing with an end of life situation. Overall awful place. Don’t stay there, find somewhere else.

Clean convenient base for exploring local area.

Its a good location, just out of town with nice view over the ocean. well maintained gardens and stairwells clean. Secure parking. Easy walk into town for shopping.

We were using the unit as a base whilst visiting local family and helping with a renovation and only spent the nights in unit. The unit is older style and the unit we were allocated contained many original fixtures that could do with an update (particularly bathroom and kitchen stove). Unit was clean. Furnishings were basic - a nice rug in the sitting area would have added some warmth. 4 remotes supplied but only one was for the TV and no other devices to go with the remaining remotes. Mish mash of crockery and glassware. Bedrooms carpeted and main bed comfortable- only one bedside lamp provided though. Extra doona inserts supplied but no covers as well as a few blankets. It would be nice that these were folded and stacked neatly, instead of just pushed into the wardrobes. Bedroom window locked and unable to be opened to allow cross ventilation.

shame that the property had not been given a good clean and broken items not fixed like the toilet system, breakfast bar stools, remote controls and bedroom light fixtures. balcony very dirty and chairs + table the clothes rack is so rusted you could never use it as your clothes would be stained with rust.

Excellent location, spacious apartment.

The apartment is spacious, well appointed and literally across the road from the beach and just down the road from the shops, cafes and restaurants. Whist it's positioned on a busy road, the noise does not disturb at all if the sliding doors are closes especially as the two large bedrooms with fans are at the back of the apartment. Also there is very little to zero traffic at night. Bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet.

It was really very dirty. Mould in the shower. Basin only rinsed but had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. Scum built up around taps and plug etc. Mugs in the cupboard filled with dirt/unwashed. Bed linen and towels were fresh and clean but the rest of the apartment had only been swept briefly but nothing more. When we arrived at 3.30pm, the group of cleaning staff were still there and very far from finishing so we left for several hours. We were in apartment 14 (no lift so a couple of floors to climb). The stairwell is very dirty and smelt quite bad. It wasn't vacuumed once during our 6 night stay. I recommend changing your cleaning company, they are doing your apartment a disservice. If you'd like I can provide photos. Once the apartment has had a deep clean - it'll be the perfect holiday apartment.

It was clean and nice

The kettle was broken the tv antenna cord was broken numerous internal doors were damabfed and would not close properly and the lamps in the bedroom had small holes in the shade. This was disappointing as the unit was nice and needs some attention to detail

Health Hazard

Location

Dirtiest place I've ever stayed in. At over $600 a night I expected way more. Staff said to send an email. That doesn't help with the 3 hours cleaning we had to do to make it livable. The washing machine is a health hazard. We looked for alternative accomodation but as it was Christmas everything was booked.

the property was fine and the beds where well made and clean but the rest of the property especially the floors could have done with a good clean as my feet where dirty after walking bare foot but overall a great space with a great location would stay again.
