The room was spacious and clean

Even though the room itself was fine, the service was terrible. I tried to contact them a couple of times before my arrival but they weren’t reading their messages nor answering my phone calls. They pick up my calls a few times but as soon as they heard a word in English they hung up the phone. Which resulted in the fact that I still didn’t get informed about the check-in (only an automatic message). The reception at the b&b was empty when I arrived, there was no one to be found. After a friend called the b&b in Italian with his phone the phone finally (after several attempts) got picked up. Apparently I had to go to the bar to ask for his daughter. After waiting for a long time and not getting any replies for the whole day I was hoping to finally get some proper help with the check-in. In stead of that I got an annoyed daughter who was was clearly irritated cause she had to help me. She acted extremely rude towards me, didn’t apologize for the situation and didn’t take me serious. I was very shocked about the unpleasant welcome. It effected my stay in Otranto. Therefore I didn’t make use of their breakfast at the bar. After visiting Puglia for 6 summers in a row I have never ever experienced anything like this before. I’m very disappointed about the experience at Bed & Belvedere.

The staff is amazing, breakfast unbelievable amazing.. really enjoy your staying here.. close to centrum, parking free and safe, close to beach.. really glad we choose this acomodation

The B&B is on a good location, within 5min walk you‘re at the beach or the city centre. Supermarkets are just around the corner. The room was very spacious, comfortable and absolutely clean (also got cleaned daily). Every morning I was welcomed by Luca and he provided an individual tasty breakfast to start my day. In case of any issue, Angelo is taking immediate action. I liked it so much, that I spontaneously decided to extend my stay, which got organised very well by Ilenia without even a word from my side. All together, I have experienced a familiar hospitality and the service exceeded my expectations.

I picked this place because it's close to the station. It sworked out well. There is not always a person at reception, but someone always showed up.

The kind hosts gave us a room on the seaside, but there was little wifi. The deco was rather generic, unlike anywhere else we have stayed in Italy.

very friendly staff communicated well and welcomed us pleasantly. everything prepared well, nice room etc. exceptional experience with local barflies who invited us for drinks, declared love to me and showered me w compliments <3

Good location

Business run by a very nice family; within reasonable walking distance to several beaches and the old town; delicious food options at the macelleria on site; located just steps from the train station and several supermarkets; delicious breakfast options; very clean; fun vibe at the bar in the evening

Housekeeping a bit pushy, and would rearrange personal items and throw out barely used soap and unfinished toilet paper - not sure about sustainability here; breakfast was so good, wish they’d allowed more than one option; Wi-Fi quite weak in the room at certain times of the day

Friendly staff, Easy to find. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent!!
