A relaxing stay in a beautiful setting.

We loved our villa with its private pool,the yoga was so special and breakfast overlooking the sea was sublime.

We had a wonderful time and felt we had made a great choice when we booked this hotel!

When we booked, we didn’t have a sense of how close to the beach, restaurants, and shops we would be. At Horizon, were right where we wanted to be and we plan to stay at Horizon the next time we vacation in Santa Teresa! There was a comfy hanging day bed on the balcony patio (see picture) that my daughter would take a nap on, and I would go out in the mornings and read my book there.

Absolute dream hotel

Such a dreamy place, I really liked this hotel. After a day here I already felt relaxed and by day 2 I was fully immersed in the yoga-pool-beach-smoothie life. The hotel sits higher on a hill so they have this amazing view of the ocean above the canopy. The pool and cafe veranda is situated to face the sunset over the ocean. Spent a whole day here one day. Gorgeous garden jungle all around you. Yoga takes place multiple times a day on an open-air platform that faces the sunset as well. This was an absolute dream. Really excellent teachers, beginner friendly but moves at a pace that intermediate-level yogis would enjoy. The sound bath yin yoga while the sun was setting was really a memorable experience. Accommodations: holy cow this felt luxurious. I stayed in a cabina with my own personal pool! A bi-level apartment with a kitchen, two balconies nestled in the trees, a swing daybed, two bathrooms, huge bedroom, and AC! Or the option to keep all the windows open for a refreshing cross-breeze. I cooked in the kitchen and had everything I needed, including coffee for the morning. But also had a couple meals at the cafe and must say, the food was delicious. Healthy, tasty, and bountiful. LOVED the staff here. Everyone was super friendly and relaxed, like they enjoyed their jobs. Which hell, I would too if this were it.

Only didn't like that this was so booked out that I couldn't stay longer!

Great service from the owners and staff!

What's makes a good hotel great is the staff. The owners really went the extra mile to help me retrieve my suitcase I had left by mistake at the previous hotel and organised for a contact of theirs to collect it. They saved me a lot compared to what the previous hotel were trying to charge to deliver it to me. The food was really good with great Vegan options and again, the owners and staff were super helpful and friendly, making time to chat with us. Bravo Horizon Hotel and Yoga!

Amazing

We rented a villa with private swimming pool. The villa was great and ideal for a family of 4. We enjoyed the privacy when staying at the villa and the proximity to beaches, rentals and restaurants. Great service and responsiveness by the team. We strongly recommend it.

nice place, reasonably convenient location, nice facilities with a pool and restaurant

the rooms are nice comfortable and cute with wood and bamboo structures. there is yoga class at the hotel plus a freshwater pool to cool down if the day is hot. the villas are nicely equipped with a small kitchen and stove plus microwave. A market is not far, 4-5 min walk but the road conditions are not good, dusty and steep.

most rooms need steep stairs to reach. maybe not convenient for someone with difficulty walking. reception is on the hill and if your room is at the lower level in the villas, you will need to climb the stairs each time you need some info. the road from hotel to the main streets and shops is steep down and not in a good condition, and full of dust.

No brainer, book now!

Staff were awesome, views were great, relaxing vibe and location, cafe with amazing food and yoga studio above. Great ac, great wifi (router in your room), shower pressure and temp was great, this place was amazing and could talk for hours. Highly recommend!!

Perfect setting for a quick Surf, Yoga and Beach vacation with family.

The location is in town near great restaurants, shops and markets. The beach is a 5 minute walk distance and from there you can walk in either direction and enjoy the endless wild beaches. The restaurant at the hotel is great for breakfast and lunch with a very fresh variety, amazing view and friendly staff. Yoav is a wealth of information as well as a great Yoga instructor. I had the opportunity to practice with Malin and Terry as well which were both wonderful and the view from the yoga terrace is breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back.

If you have difficulty with hills or steps, be aware the hotel is mid hill about 150 ft and to move around to the reception/restaurant area there are several steps.

Great location. Right in town, but off the main street enough to be quiet. Some people complained on other reviews about the hill you have walk up to get to it, but they must be disabled or severely out if shape. Its only a two minute walk up a steep hill. Anyone in even ok shape should have no problem. This is also what gives you the great views, especially in their yoga room. And I highly recommend taking their yoga classes, as they were excellent (just bring mosquito repellent and wear long pants) The owners are sweet and passionate people who out a lot of love in their place.

Great friendly staff, amazing location with a view over the sea. Great clean bungalows with hammock and small kitchen, more than we actually needed for our short stay. They also have the most amazing yoga place up there, quite magical for some sunset yoga. We would have loved to stay longer!

Gorgeous triangular pool with view of jungle and sea. Very clean and comfortable room, with well equipped kitchenette. There was a watsapp food ordering system so that was handy. Hammock on balcony was a cute addition and nice to relax in.

A wonderful place that I can highly recommend. The Horizon Hotel & Yoga Center is a small paradise surrounded by a beautiful garden with plants and with a breathtaking view on the ocean. The cabins are perfectly equipped and very tastefully designed. The balcony with its own hammock is an absolute highlight. The location in Santa Teresa is perfect. Very good restaurants, supermarkets and the beach are within walking distance and yet it is quiet and invites you to relax. Particularly noteworthy is also the great yoga offer in an impressive Shalla - sunset included. The whole Horizon team is extremely friendly, helpful and makes the stay a special experience. I have found my "Happy Place"!
