I wouldn’t go back or recommend

Staff were friendly. Location was good.

There was a sign up indicating that they’d had lots of towel thefts. Struggle to believe that, most uncomfortable and scratchy towels I’ve used. Aircon units in the rooms but you don’t get to use them, sweltering instead. Dread to think what those mini ovens are like in height of summer.

Good for low budget

Great location close to the city centre and not far from the railway station. It was clean, there was an elevator and a big balcony. The receptionist is a nice person, he helped us and changed the bed when we saw that it’s broken.

Receptionists are nice and try to communicate, however, they don’t speak English. There is no receptionist after 10:30 pm, so make sure you can check in earlier. The room is very small, there are only beds and a desk. On top of it, one of the beds was broken and we were lucky enough to notice it before 10:30 as it was not possible to sleep on it.

Bad quality bed

Location is great, right next to the metro station that takes you right up to the Duomo. It was overall clean. Reception spoke Italian, Portuguese and Spanish

The bed was REALLY noisy. I woke up the whole night with the squeaky sounds of the bed frame everytime I moved a little. On the next morning I sat on it to tie my shoes and the bed frames came down as if they were not correctly attached or they were just bad quality. Mind you, I'm not a heavy person.

Our weekend stay at Casa Vacanza

The staff were friendly and tried their best to communicate in English. The room was very clean and although we had a shared bathroom it was always spick and span. The location of the apartment is very central and close to restaurants such as lampara, raviolihouse and poormanger which is a great plus. Would visit again.

Would have preferred to check out a bit later than 10:30 and that the check in time is later than 22:30 as flight was delayed so we were tight with time on arrival
