Sweet well kept little hideaway for the two of us and our dog. Property was well maintained and decorated with a touch of the eclectic.
Loved the fenced in side patio with fire pit. Cute balcony off the back of the house that overlooked a woodsy natural back yard best for viewing from a balcony as it was on a hill.
We thought there was a park nearby to walk the dog but it didn't materialize, however it was in a tucked away little area of homes that allowed for walking on leash on the road.
Needs hand rails at front door and from the kitchen down to the lower level exit for the patio that would have been appreciated by us as we are older and can use that extra help when using stairs.
Dishwasher needed some attention and light over the stove needed to be replaced. Ample bathroom with shower and tub and large mirror over the sink. Bathtub needed a safety mat in the tub for sure-footedness.
All shared with the owner whom we presume will consider some additions/alterations.
Walk to town is impractical. Driving across a busy road was preferred and finding a parking spot in the busy resort town of Saugatuck was preferred but difficult to locate parking on a weekend.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and felt we had a lot of solitude especially on the patio.

Such a cute house! Very clean and quiet. Everything is accessible by foot if you enjoy a good walk.

This is a great property. You can definitely walk to downtown Saugatuck from here…15 min to the heart of it. There are such thoughtful touches at the property…a treat jar, towels at the back door to dry after you’ve rinsed sand from the hose. Worked perfectly for my husband, dog and me.

This rental is exceptionally clean and very near downtown. The host was quick to respond to any questions. The fire pit was an added layer of relaxation for the evening. Don’t worry, relax everything you need is here and working.

Simple, cute 2 bedroom home, perfect for a sister's getaway!

My sister and I stayed in this adorable home. So clean, with everything you might need. Beds were very comfortable . Quiet location, and so easy to get where you’re going. This one’s a gem!

As soon as we arrived we decompressed! Felt like we were at our cottage in Canada. Birds singing. Fresh air. Sunsets. Great location away from hustle and craziness of downtown Saugatuck, but a short mile walk away on a hill. Everything you need is there. Abundance of glassware, silverware and choice of Keurig, Mr Coffee and even an espresso machine. Enjoyed the deck overlooking the River or sitting on the side patio where you can enjoy a small firepit. We never got the chance to use it, but it’s a nice option to have on a nice spring or summer night. Bring some wine and chill. Looking forward to our stay again in the fall. Delightful and charming. Pet friendly.

The title says it all. We stayed there last year and came back again.

We really enjoyed our time at your cottage. The place was perfect for us and our puppies, and we were able to get into Saugatuck, Holland, South Haven and Bangor to get a flavor of the area. The weather was a bit gloomy, but we found indoor places to go and enjoyed the small beach towns a lot!!

This little cottage on the hillside is so cozy and charming that you won't want to leave! It was clean, compact, and located just a stone's throw to downtown Saugatuck. The neighborhood is safe and friendly and we enjoyed taking daily walks towards the town's center. We stayed in the off season (December) and the area was peaceful and calm. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and opens to a back porch that provides a scenic view of a natural marsh area. If we stay in Saugatuck again, we'll most certainly stay here if possible!
4.8
The cottage was adorable. It had all the amenities you would ever need. And it was walkable to Saugatuck downtown. I would book this property again. If you want to stay in Saugatuck I would highly recommend this one.

It was a nice place wish The yard was a little bigger for pets.

Place was as described (better even). Extremely clean, comfortable, and uncluttered. Location was excellent (quiet, walkable to Saugatek downtown). We felt very comfortable and safe.

We had a nice stay. The proximity to Saugatuck was great, just short drive.

We stayed at this cottage for our annual trip to Saugatuck. The cottage is located on a nice, quiet street super close to downtown and Oval Beach. We found the house to be very clean and cozy. The furniture and beds were comfortable as well, and the internet was fast. We had no issues, but the host replied to a couple of questions we had quickly. Very happy with this choice and we will be back!

Comfortable. Good location. But needs attention. Dusty. Especially under the beds. Floors, rugs, and smelly couch desperately need deep steam cleaning. I wiped the fridge down before use because of crumbs and junk in the corners of bins and shelves. Needs regular sanitizing. Used an upside down chair to block missing rail and sharp screw on deck to protect the dog. Little annoyances, no paring knife, only 2 tsps Not enough normal sized bowls for morning oatmeal Need more better placed towel hooks in the bathroom

We loved the location of this cottage and the size was perfect for our family of 4. It is a pet friendly rental which we could tell. There was a good amount of pet hair all over. Also, when we arrived, it smelled very strongly of campfire smoke. Finally, all the beach chairs were broken. These are small things that did not have a major impact on our stay. Overall, we had a lovely time.

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at this charming home. There were so many adorable touches and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable. We love visiting Saugatuck but usually pick somewhere a little bit away from the action. This location is perfect in a quiet neighborhood and you can easily choose to walk to town. We would definitely stay here again!
4.8
Great location. Quiet but close to wverything we wanted. Cute little bungalow. Well maintained. We all enjoyed it.
4.8
Better than pictured! Comfy couch and beds, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Loved the colorful decor. Very short drive to downtown Saugatuck or Douglas and an easy enough walk, too. Would stay here again!
4.8
You will not get a second of sleep on the bricks they call mattresses. If you finally do fall asleep, you are sure to be woken up by the constant creaking of the bed frame.
At the end of our stay, property manager charged us for various things like throwing a chair over the balcony, marijuana smell, and cigarette butts outside.
If you choose to stay here, take pictures and document everything or you will be stuck like us with no proof and an extra charge on your credit card.

this was a very cozy cottage and close to everything - as I had dog was a nice area to walk him down the street - very quiet. Enjoyed the fire pit as was rather cool for June !!!
4.8
We were only there about 12 hours, but it was a great alternative to a hotel! The street is so charming... cute houses and trees. Very quiet!! Super close to downtown Saugatuck.
4.8
Charming home, great location. Plan on returning.
4.8
Wonderful experience! Very close to downtown Saugatuck and a short drive to Holland. We were lucky enough to see some of the tulips already blooming when we went to downtown Holland. Very clean and a great layout of the house. Perfect amount of space for 2 couples. We also used the firepit which was a nice touch. This will be our new go to when we visit Saugatuck/Holland.
4.8
This property is tucked in to a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. The lay out of this home is perfect. Large bedrooms and a large bathroom are a plus. The neighborhood was close to shopping and restaurants. The views from the back deck do not disappoint.
4.8
Great location and a very comfortable accomadation.
4.8
Great location and atmosphere. The place was about a 90 second drive from downtown and had a clear view of Lake Kalamazoo.
4.8
This is our second time staying at this property (first time was December 2020) and we enjoyed this stay just as much as the first. The property is well maintained and comfortable. The location in Saugatuck is perfect and within a 10-15 minute walk of the central business district shops and restaurants. We originally were supposed to visit a few weeks earlier but a bad winter storm forced us to change our plans. The owner was accommodating in allowing us to move our stay. We will definitely stay at this property again.
4.8
Enjoyed the property that was clean, quiet, well appointed and cozy. The host veas very responsive and flexible! Highly recommend!
4.8
Went with my Bestie and we both enjoy fire. Firepit was just the right size. Burned alot of wood, played Scrabble outdoors, 18 degrees, Firepit on North side so no sun. The home itself was lovely, cozy, and well stocked with whatever you may have forgetten.
4.8
Spent a few nights at the cottage. Quiet area, all went well. Would certainly stay here again if ever back in Saugatuck.
