Bien pour un séjour d'affaires

La décoration est magnifique. Les lits sont confortables. La climatisation fonctionne correctement. La douche est avec de l'eau chaude à tout moment. La cuisine du restaurant est bonne même si les prix sont très élevés. Le personnel est poli et attentionné. L'hôtel est bien sécurisé avec un portail gardé en permanence et des vigiles devant les entrées. La vue sur l'océan de la terrasse est magnifique et inoubliable.

J'avais réservé une chambre "de luxe" avec un surface de 24 m2 et j'ai été placé dans une chambre plus petite. Après réclamation, j'ai changé de chambre. J'avais réservé le service navette entre l'aéroport et l’hôtel pour un tarif de 80 USD. Sans être prévenu, j'ai du attendre 30 min à mon arrivée devant l'aéroport à 5h00 du matin, que d'autres personnes se joignent. Finalement, après réclamation, le chauffeur de l’hôtel a organisé un autre transport pour moi en individuel. J'aurais aimé être prévenu à l'avance que le transport devait être partagé et qu'il fallait attendre. Idem au retour, il y a eu un cafouillage sur l'horaire de réservation et le nombre. Pour un départ à 1h30 du matin, je suis finalement parti à 2h00. J'étais agacé par cette situation. L'ensemble des consommations au restaurant et au bar ont été arrondies sur la facture finale éditée par l’hôtel, sans demander. J'ai eu l'impression d'être une proie à l'arnaque sur toutes ces situations. Pour un hôtel de ce standing, on n'attend pas ce genre de pratique. C'est ce que j'ai regretté le plus et qui laisse un sentiment désagréable

Promise but didn't live up to it

The gentlemen on reception always helpful and the lady who cleaned my room was serious but very good. The seating area in reception is good and useful and the guys at the door always chatty. A couple of the ladies in the dining room were nice also. The balcony outside was good as well.

The room was soulless and tired the sink in the bathroom the water didn't drain properly and it smells. No milk for tea and with a very small window it was dark and dreary. The stairs up to the room would be a challenge for a less able person. The breakfast was ok but generally cold and not overly tasty and disappointing really. The choice on the dinner menu was expensive for what it was. I had chicken BBQ sauce and the sauce was over the top. Generally I found the price of the food high with low value. The gym, half the equipment didn't work properly and was limited yet the picture seemed to show more. As a strength and conditioning coach the disfunctional kit was disappointing. The advertised Sauna didn't work and infact I had a slight electric shock when trying to use it and no sign to say it was inoperable. I had to extend my stay and it was quite a process really and could have been made easier. Overall I was disappointed.

My stay is generally comfortable.

Staff are generally good even though sometimes difficult to understand their English. The location is beautiful with panoramic ocean front, the food is generally good though breakfast lacks variety. My room was well air conditioned. Complementary water, daily room cleaning/bed making.

The room is a bit dusty to walk barefooted. I preferer walking barefooted in my hotel rooms wherever I travel to release unnecessary heat from my body. However, this hotel is not carpeted, and also dusty to do so.

very comfortable place

The staff, facilities, and breakfast are incredible. The staff makes you feel very welcome. The hotel has a nice terrace to sit at and stare at the ocean. The pool area is nice and calm.

Just a tip: the devices in the gym could use instructions. The lobby is quite cold.

Great Location. Impeccable staff and Management. I plan to definitely stay here again.

The staff and management are fantastic and very flexible and accommodating with guests. During the four weeks I stayed at the Cape Hotel the level of responsiveness and attention to detail were beyond what I have seen at other hotels worldwide. The owner learns each guests name and is highly attuned to guests needs.

Very nice and comfortable. Would like to stay there again.

The Cape is at the ocean view. The breakfast was very nice. More than that the staf, specially the General Manager and the owner, the restaurant Manager, are very friendly and take special care to make guests feel at home. They even put an extra desk for me in my room so that I could work in peace.

There's not much that I did not like. May be they can have more variety in food. But I guess they have enough.

It was the ideal spot for business trip. Comfortable and accessible

I loves the location, it was osd to the beach and the American embassy. it was also in the heart of the capital city. The breakfast was amazing

Nothing comes to mind apart from the price. Expected it them to organize an airport pickup for the price but thats fine. It was reasonably priced. I also liked the room service.

This was a great place to stay, especially if you are a lone woman traveller

Exceptional

The deco is fantastic. Hotel is clean. Staff are friendly and polite. Hotel shuttle service available. Breakfast is buffet and superb. Swimming pool sparkling clean. I truly loved and enjoyed every moment of my stay.

The water only got lukewarm not hot. My room window showed me a concrete wall, grey and dull and the pipes from the water tank

Staff friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. Services provided were all working and it was easy to arrange travelling requirements on the go. Rooms clean and tidy. Wifi working well.

Meals at the restaurant were average compared to similar hotels elsewhere in Africa. Noisy aircon in room during stay.

Breakfast was ok and well served according to our diet plans. Kitchen staff were are freindly and able to handle our expectations.

The bed was making lots of noise each time we tried waking up or sitting on it.
