Relaxing, peaceful and very comfortable.

Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation. Well equipped kitchen, generous welcome package, tea, coffee, milk & biscuits. Very comfy big bed.

It was further from the beach than we had thought. We did walk to town a few times, but had to take the car for the beach.

Very good

Quiet location on the edge of town. The views across to Rye and Camber Castle were lovely as the sun was going down.Seen from the field with access to the 1066 footpath.

There was a lovely garden area but it could have done with loungers to make it more comfortable to sit and read in this space.Only a small thing but more hooks in the bathroom would be useful.

Very poor

Property was lovely but had trouble with heating and no hot water on our 8th day, which couldn't be fixed so had to leave before our 15 nights were uo, which completely ruined our holiday to rye

We didn't feel that adequate compensation was offered but owner would not budge. So we had to leave feeling dejected

Lovely little place - can walk into Rye

Very comfortable. Plenty of room for 2 people. Cosy and quiet. Nicely decorated - nice touches like the cushions and throw. Little kitchen area with everything we needed. Really nice to have 2 TVs so we could watch TV on the sofa or in bed. Plenty of hangers in the wardrobe and a full length mirror. Lovely big comfy bed. Good shower.

Being really picky, it was a bit tricky using the key safe.

Save your money, go elsewhere

Nothing. very dirty with broken junk shop furniture. The photos on the Booking are very outdated and do not reflect the poor quality of the accommodation

Great place to stay .

very spacious for two people . Bags of hot water . TV not that it was used . Nice outside areas . parking . Rye town had lots of eating places and bars - some stupidly pricey though !

Was a 15 min comfortable walk into rye . However the weather was great , would have to get taxi if it had been raining .

Relaxing, pleasant aspect….

Quiet Private Comfortable bed Good heating and hot water comfy sofa Nice outside space Adequate bathroom shower and WC with extract fan.

Dated (junk shop items were quirky but not antique). Tired decor. No extract above the cooker. This was a major issue as the whole accommodation smelled of cooking and our clothes did and the bedding on the bed did. We had the windows open throughout our visit but could not freshen up the accommodation. Even un-worn clothing had to be washed on our return to home. Too far away from Rye town (not an issue for us but the less able could struggle to walk this distance up hill)

The location , the welcome basket possibly ask if your guests have allergies but nice touch nonetheless Lovely comfortable bed

Would have preferred to have had a shower cubicle rather than a shower over the bath, for mobility reasons

Location very good

Bathroom could’ve been al lot cleaner our feet were black walking on the floor. Apart from that everything else was good.

Good location, town centre is accessible, quiet location, good accommodation overall.

Good standard of accommodation overall.

A previous reviewer mentioned the very soft bed, and I found the same. The mattress is shot and and needs replacing. There was some black mould/scale around the bath overflow vent.

I loved and not at all helpful !

Location

This is in well need of update ! Photos are out of date on website and not clean ! Despite telling owners it was dirty they only did shower curtain ! Since found out it has been sold on to other people ! (Hair long black found all over bathroom tiles all slimey ) I had to clean before we could use it !

A comfortable pleasant stay within a quiet surrounding, has everything you need.

Nice and quite, close to Rye. The cottage had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay and was very spacious. The hosts were very helpful with regards to recommendations for eating out during the Covid restrictions.

Highly recommended

The property was spotless and there was secure Covid protection in place. The cottage was very comfortable with an enormous and very comfortable bed. It was in an ideal position to explore the surrounding ares. The equipment was very good and everything had been thought of to make our stay as good as possible. The heating was easy to use and made the place very cosy. We would definitely go again.
