Amazing stay with amazing breakfasts and views

The farm is amazing - very beautiful house in a private location close to all parts of Yosemite. We felt very comfortable and welcomed thanks to Peter. He is a great host, who gave us many valuable suggestions about different trails. And his breakfasts… so so delicious! We really enjoyed our stay.

Feel welcomed at the Foxtail Farm - perfect for hiking in Yosemite

- Pretty Farm on the Countryside - Cozy Room and enough space - clean - you can watch hummingbirds being fed😍 - amazing breakfast and Peter will give you the leftovers to take it on your hiking trips - Really nice hosts, who a taking good care of you and will anwser all your questions about Yosemite and where to go or how to get there. Thank you Peter and Sheryl for this great experience at your lovely farm.

Lovely stay at a very unique beautiful property around Yosemite with delicious breakfast.

If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable getaway experience, I highly recommend this B&B stay. My partner and I recently stayed at a beautiful property nestled 1 hour and 24 min drive from Curry Village, and it was truly an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the owner, who checked in with us and gave us an introduction to the property. We stayed in a cozy and charming room that was fully equipped and very comfortable. We woke up to fresh air and breathtaking views of their back yard, hummingbirds to greet us, and a stunning garden. We spent two tiring days in Yosemite and it was a relief to come back to the beautiful property to rest our body for the night. In the morning, we enjoyed beautiful cooked breakfast using fresh eggs from their chicken coop. We had great conversations with the owner who shared such rich information about the ins and outs of Yosemite. Overall, the stay was amazing and rejuvenating experience. We are already planning when we can come back!

An easy choice to make.

Peter, our host, was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. His breakfasts were superb, varied and plentiful. Watching Humming Birds while having breakfast was an added bonus. As was the 'Yorkshire Tea'.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice little getaway!

It was in a beautiful, peaceful location. The hosts were super nice and made sure we were well taken care of, comfortable and were very helpful with tips on what to do and where to eat. Delicious homemade breakfasts!

Five star superior bed & breakfast

Everything. Peter is an inspirational host, who‘s love to every detail, animals, sustainability and his and his wife‘s farm is remarkable. He took the time to give us hiking tips, personal recommendations for restaurants and whatever he knew for our trip through California. The breakfast is exceptional and made with 100% love. every corner of the accommodation is more then clean. We had enough space for two large luggage, the bathroom even with a bathtub. Gentle dogs, flying hummingbirds and chickens on the farm made our stay just beautiful and special.

Amazing host and incredible breakfast. Peter ensured that we had everything we needed for our hike into Yosemite and was able to give us excellent recommendations for the local area when it came to food and trekking.

Peter and his wife made our stay sensational! You can’t go wrong staying here.

Beyond 10 out of 10! Fresh squeezed orange juice, organic fruits, fresh eggs from the hen house, homemade granola, I could go on longer but you get the message! Love, loved, loved the hummingbirds.

Just perfect!

An unforgettable and memorable stay.

We absolutely LOVED Foxtail Farm B&B. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Peter and Cheryl were absolutely fabulous, attentionate, thoughtful and so welcoming!!! They have a clear passion about their land they shared with us. It was fascinating. My favorite part was the hummingbirds. Peter and Cheryl have 6 feeders which attracts about 250-300 hummingbirds from a nearby Oak tree. It's an amazing sight. I could sit for hours watching them fly around. We also held in our hands an individual small feeder and when you stand still, the hummingbirds come to you and even sit on your hand while waiting for their turn. That was incredible!! Peter and Cheryl also have great knowledge on Yosemite and give great advice. Oh, and let's not forget the breakfasts!! WOW!!! What a feast!! Very fresh, gourmet and delicious! We loved staying at Foxtail Farm. It was a unique, memorable and unforgettable experience. Peter and Cheryl, we can't thank you enough for making our stay so special :)

Great place to stay! We felt welcome and cared for! Will return!

We came to this B&B because of the great reviews it had and were not disappointed! The place is about 25 minutes drive from the south gate of Yosemite, we came there after a long day of driving from Lake Tahoe and then though Yosemite. Peter welcomed us at the front door and helped us with the luggage. He provided us with all the necessary utensils/plates/glasses so we could eat some food we brought with us in the dining room. The room was comfortable and a good size with a small fridge in the closet, the bathrooms had everything you might need and more. Everything was spotless clean. The breakfast was worthy of a Michelin star restaurant! Homegrown and organic ingredients, creative cooking and stylish presentation of the food made us eat a little more than usual :) That provided us with much needed energy for our strenuous hikes in Yosemite, we were even able to take the breakfast leftovers with us for a recharge! And all the while our host Peter entertained us with an interesting and very educational conversation! We had a great time at the farm and would be glad to stay there again!

Exceptional

Greg and I could not have asked for a better places today during our visit to Yosemite. The home is in such a fabulous location! The quietness of the surroundings is just what I was looking for to be able to enjoy a memory my mom created for us 51 years ago when we visited the area. Peter and his wife are fabulous hosts. Peter made us a delicious breakfast every morning and suggestions for what to do during our day. The house is gorgeous and I was able to bring back some great ideas for a renovation of our home here in Charleston.

We loved everything about our Foxtail Farm experience.

Honestly, when we arrived I was a little nervous. It was not what I initially expected BUT it was REALLY GREAT. It was so peaceful, the service was spectacular, and we enjoyed it so much! The sunsets off the patio were gorgeous. The breakfasts were off the charts. If you have food sensitivities this is the place for you - he will accommodate your needs and the food was all home cooked from scratch and FABULOUS!!! You will also get great advice on where to go for whatever experience you are looking for - tons of knowledge about the park, hiking trails, etc. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you want a peaceful, friendly, down home experience. WE LOVED IT.

Exceptional

It was an excellent location for our vacation. Owners/host was superb and made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Our host, Peter, prepared scrumptious breakfasts for us each of the mornings we were there. There was a nice view of the surrounding countryside from the back porch. We had never seen so many hummingbirds in one place. Our host was also very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and also had excellent recommendations for restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend this B&B.
