Fantastisch

Heerlijke rustige plek, veel privacy

Nous avons aimé l'accueil, l'endroit et surtout le concept du petit déjeuner. Il y fait très calme et très propre. Ce qu'on a beaucoup apprécié ce qu'il y avait même un matelas pour changer notre fils.

A comfortable well organized stay- thank you!

The breakfast was great, facilities included a well set out kitchen where we could prepare other meals during the day and each morning a comprehensive breakfast was left for each customer to access when they got up. We loved our stay! Mr Muhren was a very welcoming host and the tour of his recording studio was fascinating!

Thoroughly enjoyable.

Patrick was a superb host, friendly and welcoming. He advised us as to places to visit and restaurants in the area and gave us an interesting tour of his recording studio. The breakfast was outstanding, freshly prepared and generous. It was helpful to be able to serve ourselves at a time that was convenient to us. The location was perfect. We enjoyed the 10 minute walk along the seafront each evening and the selection of restaurants was impressive. It was easy to get to Amsterdam by bus and as we had a car, we were able to visit a number of towns and villages.

Superb

A unique experience staying above a recording studio, with a kitchen/living room community like area. Walking distance along the sea to the centre / marina. If you rent a bike (totally recommended for getting around) you can explore nearby villages very easily. Rich breakfast included. We even got a peek at the studio (thanks Patrick!). Also the Veronica radio was very much in tune with us :) Sea is just around the corner.

The view from the window was toward a nearby container wall, but we did not really mind (at least you have a sense of privacy).

Super, all recommandation!

Very interesting place with original Recording Studio (worth to visit), rooms are cozy and living room are very relax and comfort. Breakfast is specific kind of self service, very rich, pure 10. Mr. Patrick is very kind and friendly host and it is always at the guests' services.

Comfortable beds, shower is good, only very hot inside the building and bathroom! Breakfast is good, but it’s a pity that they put inside a fridge.

Very hot inside the building and bathroom. the bathroom has no window to let some air inside. Breakfast should be served by the hosts. We payed our stay cash, it was like almost 200 euros, when we gave the host his money hè said hè had no change!!!

Fantastic B&B in the heart of Volendam area.

For the included breakfast, there was an incredible variety of fresh meats, cheeses, eggs, dutch breakfast specialties, condiments, breads, yogurts, fresh fruits, juice, coffee, teas provided. Every morning was a delightful discovery of what was awaiting us. Our private accommodations were super, providing private parking, terrace and garden, Comfortable rooms depicting the themes of the Music Studio, and provided super comfortable beds, tv, clean ensuite bathroom with excellent shower pressure, etc. The Common Room was perfect for breakfast, relaxing after touring, meeting other guests, and most importantly the accompany of our Superhosts: Patrick Muhren, dad Arnold, and assistant Donna. This is a guest house, with a working, award winning Recording Studio in Volendam which was very unique and of interest to us as one of is a USA performing musician. The location is a half hour dike walk to the Centrum of Volendam. Exceptional Stay in every way.

Enjoyable for a few nights

The room and facilities were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

No sign out front, you have to walk through/between property and sign still doesn't say Guesthouse. Nice walk to harbor but tiring over several days to & from and back for dinner each night as there are no restaurants close by, bike hire/loan would have been good if available

The location is a bit difficult to find, i.e. navigation leads you to an area behind where you need to be.
