The location was good. Felt safe. But you only got one key for 4 persons. The floor, beds and doors made alot of noise.

Insgesamt passt hier das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis leider gar nicht.

Sehr gute Lage. Abgelegen vom Trubel und trotzdem ist man sehr schnell zu Fuß im Zentrum. Ordentliches und sauberes Gesamtbild der Anlage. Bad ok. Zimmer wird täglich sauber gemacht und die Handtücher gewechselt.

Personal nicht gerade freundlich und wirkt wenig interessiert. Keinerlei Informationen oder Angebote über Touren etc. Extrem hellhöriges Zimmer mit kaum Privatsphäre, da die Nachbarn einem auf dem Balkon quasi vor der Tür sitzen. Lieblos gestaltete Zimmer. Die Matratze im Doppelbett war eine Katastrophe. Die Gemeinschaftsküche wirkt sehr schmuddelig und veraltet. Ebenso lädt der Außenbereich wenig zum Verweilen ein.

Perfect place to stay!

Nice location, quieter as back a few streets from the main street. Clean, comfortable, spacious room. There is a shared kitchen and leafy garden.

All the showers on the Caribbean coast seem to only have cold water taps brrrrrr

5 mins walk to the main street, staff was really friendly, nice property

Room was so small and really hot, the fan did not help at all. Couldnt open the window at night because it was over the bed and everyone can see you laying in bed when they walk by. Bath was okay but there was only a little bit of water coming from the sink so it was hard to wash your teerh or face. Afrer one night we booked something else

Overpriced, run down, shabby and depressing

good location

Very Overpriced! Clean but very shabby, worn out, dark, with cold showers and smelly bathroom. No insect screen on the window, and no mosquito net. So impossible to have the windows open at the end of the afternoon. Quite depressing to stay there. The upstairs floor so thin that the loud cleaning in the morning meant you couldn’t even sleep a bit longer. I could not wait to leave! I stayed in five places during my five weeks in the town and this was the only one that was depressing, and the most expensive!

Superb

I stayed one night with my friend and it was fine. I wouldn’t want to stay too long here though as it is very basic but it is cute, clean and safe.

Good for one night to enjoy the proximity to the noght life

the check in was fast, the woman on the reception was nice and new english, pretty clean and close to the main road but still quiet

Economical place to stay in Puerto Viejo

Basic but had everything we needed. Decent shower, bed and a shared kitchen. Close to centre of town and a good base to explore the region.

Amazing place♥️ The rooms are great, they have a great garden and a good location (quite)😍 The hosts are extremely nice! we booked for two days and stayed for almost a week

a great central place to stay for very good value. offers everything you need. place was clean and staff was friendly.

we had to rent the towels. not big of a deal since you get the money back. the towels didn’t really dry you on the other hand and left little lint on your body.

Affordable but linens need replacing

Very good value room for same price as a private room in a hostel round the corner but with private bathroom as well. Location is very central for exploring the town, 2 min walk to supermarket and rest of town within 10min walk. The room was a good size and shower had great pressure for getting off all the sand. Small but helpful kitchen with fridge, microwave, stove and utensils.

All the towels and sheets/pillows needed replacing. Towels just moved water around and left fluffy bits on your skin, pillow felt like it was stuffed with just a few cotton buds and bed sheet had a large burn hole in it. Not every window had a mosquito net so couldn't sleep with the window open and the fan was only just adequate to move air around but not really cool enough for a comfortable sleep.

Very good

A private room and bathroom to myself - what a luxury when back packing. Staff were lovely, Sherry was such a kind and approachable lady. Maid service every day to make your bed and bring a fresh towel. Each room has a washing line to hang up wet clothes. Big fan in the room, good wifi. Great value for money. Good location!

If you want to meet other travellers this isn’t the place to stay it’s more somewhere to go for your own space and time - but I knew this booking it and that wasn’t a problem Kitchen isn’t very good but can still be used for simple food prep Noise can be annoying as the top of the room are open( they have a net on) so any noise is quite loud

Lovely stay 🥰

I spent 2 weeks in this place and I loved it. It is so quiet and peaceful, the room is so big compared to other places I’ve been to and the kitchen was well equipped. I got room cleaning everyday by Roseiri who is so nice and kind and the whole staff is ready to help. The Wi-Fi is also very good, so I could work from my room or from the kitchen for hours. I definitely felt like home and didn’t want to leave!

very clean and close to the center but not too close so you don’t hear the noise kitchen as well is very nice with everything you need very good value for money

too bad there no real outside area with seats and hammacs to chill

Perfect stay in Puerto Viejo

The room is very spacious and clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the whole area is extremely peaceful. The Wi-Fi works well so I can easily work from my room, and the staff is so nice and kind, I feel like home. It is situated 4-5 min walking from the center, so it is very quiet the whole time. I don’t want to leave!
