Very easy to make reservations over the phone for both the cabin and 6-passenger golf cart. I received reminders and a welcome text from Island Club. I understand that some renters do not take care of these properties but one of the reasons why I chose this particular cabin was that it indicated it was newly remodeled so of course I thought it would be in great shape. I guess I anticipated too much. Here is the list I made of issues that could have been taken care of easily:1. I would like to know the last time someone moped the floors in the entire cabin.2. The dryer had so much lint build up, I was afraid to use it for I might cause a dryer fire.3. How hard is it to change light bulbs? 4. The curtains in the bathroom were to small for the window, so who knows what people saw when they drove by. We did not even have curtains on the kitchen window and this window was quite large. The curtains in the front window were also to small leaving gaps in the curtains. 5. Both cutting boards were broke in half so there was no way of using them to cut our fruits and vegetables.6. The toasters handle was broke so you had to use the metal piece to push down to make toast.7. I'm not sure what happened to our bathroom door but it would not stay open or shut, so everytime I washed my hands or brushed my teeth, I would constantly have to hit the door with my back side to open it but then it would just close again and again and again. Whomever fixed the door should be demoted immediately!8. The molding around every door in the cabin was mismatched or missing. 9. The front door did not fit the opening so you could see outside on the sides and bottom of the door. 10. The horn on our golf cart did not work.I am not one to complain and I understand that some do not take care of your properties when they rent them, but us, that do rent from you, would at least like to have a clean cabin and a little TLC given to the

We enjoyed our stay in Cabin #71. The place was tidy and clean and had a great layout (a “master bedroom” with queen size bed on one end and two other bedrooms with full and/or twin size beds on the other side of the cabin). We brought our own linens and towels. The washer and dryer made cleaning/drying our belongings easy. The kitchen was just big enough and had the essentials. It was nice to have two bathrooms, one having a walk-in shower (though you have to be quite careful with the sliding door as it doesn’t appear to be properly attached to the track). It appears the owners have been/are in the process of making updates to the cabin, making the place feel a bit more modern. We would definitely stay in this cabin again!

The property was in a great location, very close to the pool. Everything was as described, we enjoyed our stay very much! The cabin could use some work, nothing major just a little TLC. But that did not affect our stay at all. Very pleased and we’ll be back!!!

This is an ok home...its a redone double wide. No sheets or towels so, much bring your own. Very little immenities inside.
Needed some repairs but, did not impeeded our stay.
Enjoyed out visit...not a whole lot to do on the island other than party which is not our thing but, if it's yours this is a minnie key west in the Ohio!

We arrive and a awful smell from neighbors form cleaning fish. It was rotten!
Moved cabins and we had no linens until later. We had to make our own beds and take linen out of bags.

Enjoyed my stay at Island club as always. However No matter how many times I have stayed there not once has the closet in the master bedroom been in usable condition. This time it had a bunch of painting supplies stored in it. There is a storage shed just outside of the house, Why are those things it there????

We had such a great time! The house was clean ans spacious and can tell it was recently updated. Do need to fix doors and and cabinet doors. Doors wouldn't stay open nor would the cabinet doors would stay closed. But thats petty and we will be back!

Location was great, accommodations were adequate for the 8 people as advertised, but first impressions are lasting and the condition of the property was not in keeping with the $900 per night price tag. Upon arrival before we walked in, we had a broken screen door, spiderwebs all over, weeds growing in the gutters, and garbage in the yard. When we walked in there was broken trim, a broken drawer in the refrigerator, dented appliances and just little things that one would not expect in a premium rental. We then had an ant problem in the kitchen. All this could have been resolved with 1 day of maintenance. Love the island and the cabin itself would be great, but the upkeep needs improvement.

The place was awesome! It was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend away. The Island Club had our golf carts ready and waiting for us to arrive. Checkout was a breeze.

Deck, Front Door, moldings inside, in bad shape. Curtains in queen room Very uninviting. Didn't want to touch. Was told to turn light off otherwise bugs attracted to house. There was a 1 1/2 inch gap under screen door, bug would have been in in no time. Food was left in bottom on filter. Took picture of that and others mentioned if interested. I think it is a house where workers stay, since there were a lot of painting and fixing things in one closet that couldn't be used because of that.

Great place to stay only few minutes from town. The cabin was in middle of remodel I think some things were broken when we arrived but I called and they said they will get it takes care of. If we return we will probably stay in a different cabin with more room if we need it. But overall was great.

Our stay couldn't have been more enjoyable except for the cleanliness of the house. In particular, the floors were quite dirty, in real need of scrubbing. You could feel the dirt under your shoes. And that made the whole house feel dirty. We appreciated the floors not having carpet on them, though. The master toilet needed cleaned when we arrived, which wasn't pleasant. Some of the dishes had to be washed and bleached before we used them. The furniture and counters didn't have visible dirt on them. The bathroom fixtures other than the one toilet were clean. The bedding was fine. We didn't expect top-notch furniture and move-in condition of the property. Therefore, it is hard to give a 5-star in that category. It was fine for our needs. Perhaps it would be good to run the dishes through the dishwasher when the cleaning is being done, because some people just don't care how they leave things. And as far as the floor goes, a swiffer doesn't get the dirt totally off of the floor. Mopping would be best.We were totally pleased with the property management part. Actually, it couldn't have been better!!Overall, we would come back.

Great time need a few updates
Customer service, Excellent!! Cabin in good shape, not great. Both bathrooms need updating. Especially the smaller of two which had mold growth on ceiling. Other than that, the stay and experience was great.

I didn’t know that we were going to pay over 2300 dollars for a half renovated double wide. Trim was broke. None of the doors locked when we got there even the sliding door was left open. Still looked dirty. Also the one bedroom didn’t even have a door knob. I was embarrassed as the person who found it and picked it. Also paid extra for linen and that was a nightmare did refund 50 bucks of it but after 5 phone calls and all the problems... not worth it .

We had a wonderful vacation there a few weeks ago and had a good experience with Island Club Rentals. This was our second time staying at one of their properties on the Island and the management company was excellent to work with. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues with the house when we arrived, but the staff took care of them promptly. The house is in a great location in the middle of the island where it is a little quieter, but still easily accessible to the downtown area. The house provided good accommodations, was clean and had basic amenities. Overall we had a very good experience and will stay there again on our next trip.

It was tight for parking for the boats and my truck got hit and run sometime in the night. I did hear some kids on a golf cart late but didnt think anything of it. The people across the road that got there Friday April 16th must have hit it with a cart backing out of there driveway. But other than that it was fine. Might stay on main land next year because of the parking.
