About this house rental
When you are looking for a Ruidoso mountain getaway located in the tall pines.... look no further as Hilltop Cabin is the place to be. Cabin is centrally located to all things Ruidoso, but sits on the side of the hill with great views of the tall pines above. The triple King bedrooms are very comfy and cozy. Check out the beautiful river rock wood fireplace! Open concept living and dining area. Large flat screen TV in living room, and TV's in all three bedrooms are an added bonus. Enjoy this comfortable cabin, with its well set up deck,, roomy outdoor dining table and gas grill! Security camera's are in use at this cabin.
*Winter Snow Conditions will require 4wd or chains!
Hot tub is out of service.
This cabin is pet friendly. There is a $25.00 pet fee per pet, per night that will be added to your reservation

To Check IN: To check in come to our Office located at 546 Sudderth Dr. Ruidoso NM. The Office is on the North side of Sudderth Dr. Directly across from Ruidoso Fire Station at the Paradise Canyon intersection. We are open from 9am-5pm Mon-Thur and 9am-6pm Fri-Sat. If you arrive after the office has closed your arrival envelope will be to the left of the front door inside one of the two mailboxes separated by last name. Your envelope will have a map, key, directions, and emergency contact information in case you need to get in touch with us.
CHECK-IN TIME: Standard Check-in time begins at 3:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. If you must check-in early a pro-rated extra charge will be applied if possible. Sometimes there is no possibility for early check-in. Holiday Check-in time may be as late 6:00 PM, Mountain Standard Time. During holidays early check in is not available.
DEPOSIT and BALANCE: All reservations are guaranteed by charging 50% of the total cost for your stay at the TIME of your reservation, this is the "DEPOSIT", 100% if less than 15 days. You may send a personal check or money order for your 50% Deposit, but it must be received within 10 days from the date of the confirmation letter. A reservation is not considered firm until the deposit is received. IF YOUR DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED WHEN DUE, YOUR RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CANCELATION. The remaining balance for your reservation is due 15 days prior to the date of arrival and will be charged that day. When you check in the balance will be paid in full.
CHRISTMAS POLICY: For reservations during the Christmas Holiday there will be a minimum stay requirement of 4 nights. Reservations cannot check in or check out on December 25th or Jan 1. New reservations cannot create single night gaps and may require additional nights to book based on existing reservations. All reservations MUST be paid in full by December 1st or at the time of the reservation if the reservation is booked after Dec 01. There will be absolutely NO cancellations or changes 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.

Just the right amount of "off the beaten track". Did not try the hot tub but it was inviting. Comfortable beds. Must say that the addition of blackout curtains would be welcome.
Though we did find some food and grease on one of the glass pie pans it was no problem as we usually wash all the utensils, plates and glasses that we plan to use.
All in all, it was a pleasant stay and should we find ourselves in Ruidoso again we will plan on staying in the same cabin.

Our 3 night was nice. Jacuzzi worked great. Fits 3 adults comfortably. Only complaint, small one, dog hair on main bedroom comforter.. but it didn’t ruin our stay. Cabin fully stocked and everything works great.

The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was extremely spacious and in a very quiet area. We enjoyed the hot tub! The drive up the street is a bit scary but manageable. We will definitely be staying again!

We needed to escape the heat but needed something fairly close to where we live. Ruidoso never disappoints and the accommodations were excellent! The cabin was nicely appointed and all our basic needs were met. We loved the lighted deck and hot tub and started and ended our days out there. It will be a place that we will return to on a yearly basis.

Cabin getaway
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had plenty of room for 4, and the hot tub was an after dark fun nightcap. I would suggest for guests to bring a sweater and an umbrella for unforeseen weather changes throughout the day. The shopping strip was a big hit for our family, everyone we met was nice and friendly, and our pet was welcomed.

The Hill Top cabin was a wonderful place to stay. The area is quiet, the hot tub relaxing, the deck perfect for breakfast while watching deer and many different birds and the cabin was very clean and comfortable.
Exceeded expectations. Had never been to the Ruidoso area. The cabin was conveniently located to downtown, shopping and area attractions.

The location was private, very well appointed and easy to find. The hot tub was spotless and easy to access. All 3 bedrooms had beautiful king-sized beds and cable TVs. There were deer and woodpeckers to watch from the deck, and no outside noise to disturb our peaceful vacation! The staff was very helpful in directing us to our cabin and answering questions about local restaurants and events

We enjoyed our stay, the house met our basic needs and we enjoyed the quiet area. The hot tub is a nice addition but it’s on the front porch which is a little strange. However the neighborhood is quiet so it didn’t bother us. My only complaint was that we only had one towel per person for our whole stay so we had to do laundry everyday. And the kitchen although it was mostly stocked it failed to have pot holders. And please note that when they say you need 4x4 drive and snow chains in icy conditions believe it! It’s a very steep driveway, luckily we had no ice or snow.

Cabin is large, but cozy. Conveniently located, close to downtown shopping, grocery store around the corner. Saw deer on property as soon as we arrived. 4x4 recommended in snowy weather. Washer/Dryer were definitely a plus after snow tubing/skiing.

I believe I dealt with Angie Olivas, she was great to deal with. Extremely helpful and responsive to all my questions. She made this a easy booking and I would deal with her again in the future.

We had everything we needed to recharge and relax safely. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, and the board games. (Monopoly and Uno for the win.) We enjoyed a visit from some local wildlife right outside the backdoor. At night we had a wonderful view of the stars we’re unable to get in the city.
Overall, we’re very pleased with experience. Angie was very helpful in assisting us when we were unable to unlock the digital thermostat on the property. She was prompt in returning phone calls and proactive in giving us updates and possible solutions while the issue was resolved.
