If in this area again, this is our destination for accommodation..no need to look elsewhere.

Mark and Sabine were excellent hosts, very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Our room and en suite private bathroom were fantastic. The shower was exceptional. Everywhere was very clean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. You would be lucky to find anywhere better. Oh, and the breakfast! Worth the stay just for that! Thank you Mark and Sabine for being such good hosts.

Enjoyable, room clean, spacious and comfortable, breakfast excellent including gluten free options

Really enjoyed our stay, room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. House was beautifully decorated, lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, pastries, fruit, choice of different cooked breakfasts including excellent variety of gluten free options - all were well cooked and delicious. Mark and Sabine were really friendly and welcoming.

A B&B that rivals top end hotels in the New Forest area for quality and service with a personal and homely touch.

- The decor of the property and the room. Stylishly furnished, creating a comfortable and relaxing space. - Size of the room and bathroom was great. Little touches like the bath salts and chocolates in the hall way really made you feel welcome. - The breakfast was just wonderful. Excellent quality produce and treated to Sabine’s cakes for the adventures of the day.

Moortown Lodge was perfect for us. NB. If you’re a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs if you are in Room 1 or 2 which faces the main road. The through traffic isn’t heavy with cars at night but still a good fyi. We had no issues falling asleep - the bed was so comfy.

Incredible!

Breakfast was incredibly Lovely couple to run it. Their attention to detail was amazing. They even made me birthday cinnamon and Chelsea buns. Beautiful rooms - real luxury. Only 20 minutes to Chewton Glen where we had a spa day.

Great location for the New Forest. Amazing value for money, very good facilities. Rooms were amazing and very clean, attention to detail was fab. Hosts Mark & Sabine were very attentive, couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was fantastic.

Incredible 2 night stay at what can only be described as one of the best B&B’s in the UK

An incredible 2 night stay at this outstanding B&B. Mark & Sabine were superb hosts who made us feel welcome and at home. The room we stayed in was spacious and finished to a very high standard. Mark knows the local area very well and helped us decide where to visit during our stay and recommended some lovely local restaurants. Sabines breakfast was just simply perfect, I haven’t had a breakfast that good in years, it’s worth staying just for the breakfast alone! Sabine even made us Chelsea buns for our trip back. Overall we had an amazing and relaxing stay made all the more special by Mark & Sabine. This has to be considered one of the best B&B’s in the UK, it’s certainly the best we have ever stayed in.

A peaceful and stylish base for exploring the New Forest.

The breakfast is incredible. Sabine baked gluten-free muffins and pastries and offered an incredible selection of savoury dishes. We were spoiled rotten and deeply impressed by the standard and selection.

I could not find a single flaw with this accommodation. Anyone staying here will be well taken care of in every aspect.

perfect location to visit the amazing area with off road parking .. hosts Mark & Sabrina super accommodating and make you feel as though your home away from home .. That plus a truly proper breakfast that sets you up for the day and very nice rooms to relax after a long day exploring the amazing countryside ..

Lovely, friendly B&B with the best breakfast!

Lovely, friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent facilities, comfy bed, one of the best breakfasts we've ever had! Gorgeous decor throughout with thoughtful finishing touches that really make it a special stay. Location is good, 20 minute walk from the highstreet which is packed with restaurants.

Perfect stay

One of the best B&B experiences! Our room was stunning with perfect details and the bed was super comfy! Mark and Sabine are super kind and helpful, making you feeling at home. Last but definitely not least, the breakfast is exceptional! First time I’m giving a 10 stars to a property and this one completely deserves it!

A little bit of perfect in the New Forest

I don't know where to start. The most beautifully restored Georgian shooting lodge. Every detail has been taken in to consideration. The bed was huge, comfy and luxurious. The bathroom, wow. Tiles stunning, shower powerful, and bathroom products, locally made and gorgeous. The breakfast was the best we've ever had. Fresh local produce, made with real care and attention. Mark and Sabine really are the perfect hosts.

High quality accommodation, easy to find, friendly owners and a fabulous (if huge) breakfast!

Good clean room, high quality fittings and furnishings. Excellent breakfast - too much to eat! Very friendly, approachable and informative owners.

Pillows a bit too large and hard for us, but that's of course personal preference.
