Super schön mit portugiesischem Fair!

Die Unterkunft ist ein kleines Schätzchen! Alles mit Liebe und Leidenschaft eingerichtet. Es ist sauber und alles was man an Produkten (Handtücher;Bodylotion/Shampoo;Kaffee;Brötchen;Aufschnitt;Wasser) bekommt ist von guter Qualität und Lecker! Die Inhaberin ist super nett und immer stets zur Stelle wenn es Fragen gibt! Durch die gemeinschaftliche Nutzung der Terrasse lernt man nette andere Urlauber*innen kennen! Direkt gegenüber ist die Anlegestelle für die Fähre zum Strand.

Das einzige Manko war die Lautstärke um die Unterkunft herum. Morgens bekommt man manche portugiesische Café-Gespräche mit + Hundebellen (kommt aufs Zimmer an) und Nachts kann es vereinzelt zu lauten Gesprächen kommen. (wenn man die Fenster geschlossen hat…hört man nichts) Es liegt halt mitten in dem süßen Ort und daher kommt es zu solchen Situationen!

Stunning rustic retreat in the heart of Tavira

The Mosaic apartment was spacious, rustic and decorated with hues of terracotta and lemon linen curtains draped from from ceiling to floor. The bedroom had beautiful wooden shutters and a walk in wardrobe, decorative floor tiles and cemented floors in the bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The whole house was a period property with fantastic vistas from the rooftop terrace over the river. Set in the heart of Tavira, everything you could want to do and see is on your doorstop. Paola was super helpful with her suggestions and kindly ordered us a taxi for our return to the airport. Would thoroughly recommend this accommodation for a scenic trip to Tavira. Thank you, we loved our stay at the property.

The owner has designed this comfortable space with many thoughtful touches.

The excellent location, wonderful staff and all the lovely touches in the apartment. Plenty of room for organizing our luggage and belongings. We had rental bikes and were able to store them safely in a basement room.

Enjoyed Tavira. Would stay again at Casa Beleza do Sul but probably not during June/July/August.

All communications by the owner were excellent. Location was right in the heart of the town near the riverfront. Only a short walk to the beach ferry to Ilha da Tavira with its miles of great and uncrowded beaches. Local amenities, bars, cafes all within a stone's throw but not noisy as apartment set back a little from the river. We stayed in the Blue apartment, very comfortable with easy access. Top roof terrace great for sunbathing and evening dining. We didn't use the lower roof terrace which had a sunshade as it was directly outside another apartment.

We knew there was no air-conditioning but a top quality fan is provided. We stayed beginning of May so ok for that time of the year. Not convinced it would do the job for us in the hotter months of June/July/August. For us the roof top terrace was great for late evening when the sun was lower but lack of shade cover meant we didn't use it during the day. However would be great for sun worshippers!

An excellent location. A very friendly host and staff. Right downtown with plenty to do. Great time

Location was really great The host and staff were exceptional. The ferry to the beach was around the corner We liked the market again within walking distance. Parking for the car was also close by. The coffee shops and the restaurants were also very close as well

Lovely property in a great location

Lovely property in a great central location in Tavira, which had everything we needed for our short break. Our host Paola provided us with lots of really useful information regarding the local area, local walks, up to date ferry crossings and restaurant and cafe details. The little touches of bread, jams and almonds were appreciated.

Beautiful, large space with terrace right outside our door, and a rooftop terrace just up 1 flight

The location was ideal. Paula left a delicious loaf of bread with honey and jams. She gave us suggestions on where to eat, all of which were fabulous

Beautiful place, highly recommend

This place was absolutely stunning and has clearly been designed with so much love and attention to detail. On the first day we arrived to bread, jams and almonds and each day a carafe of filtered water was brought to the room. Having the kitchen in our apartment was great and allowed us to save a bit of money by self catering. Location was really good too. Paola and her colleagues were so helpful and friendly, they leant us beach towels and a beach umbrella and Paola was so accommodating when we stored out luggage there between check out and our departure time.

Worth noting that there is no air conditioning but our stay was in the midst of the July heat wave and we coped by using the 2 fans provided - it was HOT but honestly it was worth it to stay in such a lovely place. The coffee shop opposite our apartment stayed noisy until quite late at night on the Saturday, this didn't particularly bother us - especially once the windows were closed - but could be disturbing for some people.

This property is beautiful and the rooms are super comfortable and spacious. We stayed at the blue room and everything was so beautiful and matching. The roof is also a very nice added value.

Fantastic, charming property, full of character and comfort, and convenient for everything we needed

Fantastic, charming property, full of character and comfort. We loved the high, vaulted ceiling with the split level bedroom and kitchen/lounge area. Fresh bread, jams, coffee all provided as a welcome. Very comfortable yet quiet and private with a little terrace to enjoy as well. Everything we needed was within walking distance and the ferry to Tavira Island only two minutes away. Loved everything here.

Amazing lofted room with tons of space - very comfortable, beautifully decorated and immaculately cleaned. Access to 2 beautiful semi private patios. Location was incredibly convenient! Staff was extremely kind and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations/room and parking logistics. Our favorite room that we stayed in while in Portugal!! 10/10 recommendation!

I found my stay very pleasant and felt welcomed and looked after

I loved the attention to details in design and consideration of guests use of the space as a home away from home.

The codfish smell from the restuarant downstairs can get a little overwhelming for vegetarians - but I dont think that can be helped except with careful airing!

Extraordinary guest house close to all amenities

Everything has been great. A sleeping mask is recommended for anyone sleeping with the windows open

We had a beautiful apartment in the original traditional decor with plenty of space. The central location is great and there's a spacious roof terrace. We had a very warm welcome from Paolo who was also very accommodating with requests we had. We will for sure stay here again next time.

Exceptional time in Tavira, with an authentic vibe, perfect views and winning location

The location was exceptional, with the beach ferry across the road, and a massive selection of restaurants within 10 mins walk. The suite was everything we needed and wanted and far exceeded our expectations, and the advice we got about where to go for food, ferries etc made everything so easy. The terraces just add to the joyful experience.

Some might not love being woken by the early morning coffee drinkers across the road but we loved it! The steps to the top roof are best used before wine as they are quite steep but then theres the lower terrace for a glass.

All you need and more …

The interior design of the house is absolutely beautiful and also has an amazing roof top terrace. It feels like a dream house since I would love to live in a house like that. The owner has an eye for detail and was very helpful with lots of tips. Also the cleaning lady was very nice. Just in front of the apartment is the ferry to Tavira island and free parking just on a 3 minute walk distance. The apartment is located in the center but no noise. The ground floor dates back to the Middle Ages and the first floor is About 120 years old. Isn’t that amazing??!! In short, please book if you have a chance. You will not regret your stay.
