Everything was very good indeed apart from the mattresses on the beds which were awful.

Cleanliness of room and public areas, decor, friendliness and helpfulness of staff, service of reception and bar staff, quality of bar meals and quality of breakfast.

Mattresses on bed were most uncomfortable and the duvet on one bed was too large for its cover. This factor would deter a further stay at the hotel.

Could do a lot better. Probably have too much easy business

The staff were very unprofessional and did not even offer a good morning. The barman although nice wasn’t to be found in late evening and had to found to get a drink

Good stay in Nice location

Great hotel. Our room was large and comfortable. Nice big bathroom. Building has character, grand staircase. The public bar area was great and the food was lovely.

Some complementary water would be nice and a fridge would be helpful.

Other than the bedtoom everything was good

Disappointing

The water is soft. Room was mostly clean. Window opened.

Bed was hard. No fan, it was hot and humid. Had to walk from the train station 😞 I'll never go back People were unfriendly

Good place to stay in Greenock

The rooms were comfortable and good location in Greenock.

The staff was not too friendly and the breakfast can have a bit more of variety.

Good location, impressive entrance

I have a few dietary requirements, but the staff coped reasonably well with them. The room was basic, but very comfortable. Staff were great. Location was ideal for us and we got parked right outside the door.

We hadn't been warned on check in that there was a wedding party in, which made our evening meal service a little slow and noisy, but it didn't impact too much.

me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our stay and thought it was good value for money. food was excellent complements to

Excellent.

Enjoyed all the facilities in hotel.

There was no lift, only an awkward winding stairway which my partner found challenging, we were originally two levels up, however when we mentioned that was a problem, the receptionist offered us a different room on the first floor, which was very much appreciated.

modern well equipped room good breakfast and bed was comfortable good location for town centre and shops and easy parking at no extra charge

no heating adjustment in room and was a bit hot but you could open the window so wasn`t to bad

Fabulous,

Fabulous lovely hotel, right where I needed to be for ship visit. Beautiful interior, bar and food excellent. Lovely friendly staff. Room was spacious lovely bathroom. Would definately go back if down that way.good choice for breakfast, enough for me

This hotel has been a favourite of our for as long as I can remember.

There was an excellent choice of food at breakfast. We were delighted with the size of the room and the bed was really comfortable. We also had dinner the night before and you were spoiled for choice.
