An outstanding stay on a picturesque, serene, hilly vineyard filled with many birds

Fantastic location, very well maintained. We arrived a bit late but they made us a wonderful dinner. The Lapone rosso was just right.

Caterina was a wonderful host. The property is in a beautiful setting, the pool was great especially in the hot weather. The dinners on the outdoor terrace are something we’ll always remember.

This is a family friendly agriturismo tucked into the beautiful Umbrian countryside, a truly lovely place to get away.

Beautiful location and very peaceful. We ate at the restaurant both nights and the food was fabulous.

Pillows are a little hard.

Exceptional

Everything, food is one of the best I tried in italy it was very warm and fresh! The people are warm and welcoming as if you are visiting a family you know a long time ago and the place is facilitated for family friendly setting with games for kids and TV and a cosy fireplace, it is veryyyy warm inside the house so never worry of the cold, the view from our room was spectacular and would definitely visit again for this quiet amazing scenery 💜💜💜 absolutely a must visit!

Everything was GREAT, maybe I would recommend to have a car for this place as its on top of a hill and inside a village so you better have a car and preferably a 4x4 if you wanna go further in the mountain or if you got lost like us xD

Stunning views. Great staff. Very accommodating. Huge and intense thunderstorms made for dramatic ambience especially at night. Heavy rains ended drought for region.

Guests on second night stayed up until after 1:30 am talking very loudly in lounge below rooms. Hard to fall/stay asleep.

Awsome place, nice people and splendid view.

Everything. Location it's fantastic, the facilities are kept in good condition and the peoples are really nice. The swimming pool it's very nice and placed in an awesome spot with a good view.

I didn't like the cusions, but I almost never like them in hotels and alike.

Amazing stay at beautiful location

We stayed 3 nights to visit around Umbria/Toscana. Highly recommend to have dinner at Lapone. We would like to come back again! Thank you!

Difficult to find the location. There was ca. 1-2km off road to reach the location. Communication in English was not easy but after all it was alright.

Best Farmstay

Paolo and Caterina’s farm-stay was the perfect break we needed. The farmhouse seems new with very clean and well appointed rooms. The country cuisine delicious and we were able to sample olive oil, tomatoes and apples grown on the property. We enjoyed it as a couple but clearly popular for families.

Beautiful, peaceful, and delicious place to relax, unwind, and explore nearby Orvieto from.

We only stayed one night before continuing on to Umbria but we really enjoyed our stay and wished we could have extended it. The grounds and the agriturismo are absolutely stunning, peaceful, and tranquil, and the hosts looked after us very well. We had dinner there and were served some of the best strangozzi al tartufo. I had contacted them ahead of time with some dietary requests (which they met graciously) and everything was delicious! We look forward to returning.

We would recommend this place to anyone wishing to stay in a quite vineyard.

The location was absolutely perfect, the check in and out process with Jole was a breeze. Dinner was incredible and over the top delicious, our complements to the chef. The Chardonnay was amazing and hopefully we can order and a case shipped to us. The dogs made us feel like we were at home as we miss our puppy.

Maybe a few more signs pointing out that you were on the right path to the facility as it was off the beaten path…..that is a good thing being secluded!

This is one of the best Agriturismo's we have ever stayed in - truly wonderful place.

Dinner was excellent and the setting of the B&B is absolutely wonderful. Staff were super-friendly (even though we didnt speak Italian and they had no English) . Room view was exceptional. Pool is beautiful, but cold at this time of year, of course.

A hair drier in the room - and tea making facilities.

The perfect stay in Umbria!!

We had a wonderful stay and were wonderfully catered for. The kitchen is very good! We also appreciated the very friendly and familiar atmosphere of the magical place. The accommodation meets the highest quality standards. The loving care of the entire facility is clearly visible in many details. Again any time! We loved it and special thanks to Caterina and Viola!

The Agriturismo Lapone could be better written on the SP99. It would also be helpful on Strada Lapone if the direction to Agriturismo Lapone were marked at every intersection.

A beautiful place on earth.

Wow is the word that comes to my mind when I think of the Agriturismo Lapone. Set in the wilderness, it is nonetheless, very accessible by car. Orvieto is only a 10 minutes drive away ( definitely worth it!!). When you arrive at Lapone, you are happily surprised to see how beautiful kept the main buildings as well as the grounds are. Colorful flowers embellish the house and make it look like a postcard ( or just like on the pictures). The swimming pool is also set in the wilderness amongst olive trees as well as vineyards. It's very peaceful. The apartment was clean, functional and elegantly decorated. A special mention to dinner ( and breakfast) at Lapone. It was simply delicious. Everything was homemade and perfectly cooked. And needless to say, we were very full by the end of the evening! If you are hesitating between eating in town or at this Agriturismo, it is safe to say that you will not be deceived if you stay. Finally, if the terrace overlooking the valley does not enchant you, then I do not know what will! The host was also extremely kind and helpful. We arrived at around 13h and not only was she able to let us check-in early but she also very kindly cooked possibly the best pasta we've had throughout our whole trip! I would definitely recommend this place with my eyes closed!

Nice place but expensive for what they offer

The view from the hotel installations, but not from the room.

The room is not prepared for 4 persons. For 2, it is perfect. The pool and parking are far from the rooms. Not cell phone signal and just a very poor wi Fi signal in the lobby. No WI Fi in the room.

An absolute dream! We will be back.

The food was outstanding! Sonia and Caterina made the experience so wonderful!

Too many bugs, need more citronella candles to keep them away. Wi-Fi wasn’t in the room so any communication via phone required you to go outside to the public space.

Very good

We took all our meals in the Agriturismo and everything was delicious! The grounds are incredibly beautiful - the pool, olive trees, vineyards, the terrace, the views. We loved that there was an immaculate tennis court in the forest! The staff were so nice and accommodating. All wonderful!

Maybe a few scheduled activities would be nice such as a tour of the vines and a wine tasting, or a scheduled aperitivo every evening.
