All together a good stay. Would recommend it.

The communication and the staff

The room was a bit smelly. Opening of windows not possible because mosquito can come in.

Relaxing and peaceful break in the lap of nature made possible by the friendly and helpful team

The room was a very good size, bed was very comfortable, garden and pool views from the balcony were nice and bathroom was clean. The gardens and extensive lawns were well maintained and there were plenty of birds to be seen and heard. Waking up to the chirping of the birds was lovely, followed by a lavish breakfast. The management and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a relaxing holiday in the lap of nature. We know we will return to Carina Beach Resort very soon.

Perfect relaxed stay

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Kids can have fun at the small play area or the swimming pool.

The indoor play room and reading room was closed.

it was a below average stay

The property was nice with an okay pool and kids play area which was nice and a lot of greenery around

The service was poor, had to ask for towels and cutlery which was denied because I did not order from the resort restaurant. Water bottles also had a cap of 2/ day.

Bad , bad and Bad

Staff was very rude and inhospitable ! The front desk was aggressive and non-cooperative. They forced me to pay even before I stayed in your property. Staff needs major re-training on how to deal with customers.

In dire need of an upgrade

Breakfast is Indian style but well cooked and hot. Pool is adequately sized although not very many sunbeds. Lots of local bars and restaurants within easy walking distance.

10 minute walk to the beach is overly optimistic, more like 15 or 20 but a pleasant walk. The hotel's restaurant and bar for this location is heavily overpriced. Don't like wet rooms, the shower needs to be screened off from the rest of the bathroom. At this price point a shower cubicle is a must. The furniture is in dire need of an upgrade, it's plastic laminate, some of which is peeling. Pillowcases were clean but the pillows inside were stained brown and we had to ask twice for replacements. The lock on our door was worn, the key did not locate properly in the keyhole. It took me 5 minutes on one occasion to unlock the door so we could enter.. We had an upgrade to a superior room which was advertised as garden view. It was not. 5 metres from the window was piles of rubble and the view was of a building under construction.

Stay st Cariba

Carina is unlike other resorts yhe expansive lawn and swimming pool and the uncluttered rooms in blocks away is a welcome change from beach stays etc with rooms next to each other and less of privacy or personal space. Ideal for remote working, one can just laze in the lawn and set up temp work station . Though nit right next to the beach walk to the beach is around 500mts through lush green fields lined with coconut trees. Good st the restaurant was yummy and one can relish authentic goan cuisine .Reasonable priced and overall value for money.

Hard to say since I was there to take a break and relax didn't have any experience I felt wasn't as per my expectation .

Comfortable stay at Carina

I had come here for a short holiday and enjoyed my stay at Carina, the place was clean and very spacious and had a nice pool too. My son had a wonderful time in the garden and we managed to play some badminton too. The was worried about the network and wifi as I had some work to complete but the wifi was good and could complete my calls without any challenge. I hope to be back soon

Exceptional

Excellent, very well maintained property. It's main appeal is its homestyle accommodation and friendly staff. Perfect place to stay with young children and families. Loved the attention to practical details such as drying racks in the balconies, well ventilated rooms and lemon grass beds along room edges (this grass is a natural mosquito repellent). The property has plenty of trees and is great for bird watching too, quite unlike the manicured gardens of bigger resorts and star hotels.

Breakfast was delicious. Had sufficient options. Pool was clean and we spent 2-3 hours daily in pool morning and evening. Room had ample of space , table, cupboards, chairs.

Exhaust fan in bathrooms were not there. Which was a drawback. There was no clock in the room. A wall clock would be better.

Changing room of swimming pool is very dirty not usable, overall the resort and facilities are dated and look old food is okayish, ac cooling also not very good

Exceptional

A well maintained property with lots of activity for children as well as adults. Staff is very helpful and polite. They have play area for children ,pool and badminton. They have in house good restaurant. Overall a very good place to stay.

horrible stay avoid staying here

nothing it’s just a huge property which is like a hostel

so many restrictions they did even allow me to take some water and wash the car besides the entrance as it was very hot and I just needed few buckets

A Good Find

Although in central Benaulim, very quiet location. The grounds and pool are fantastic. Strong wifi. Easy onsite parking - A big bonus. Good Breakfast. Can't find fault with anything really.

A quiet place to sit back and enjoy the smell of nature, village sound of birds chirping.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Clean bathroom with round the clock hot water.

The resto was closed. However, this is not fault of the hotel becos occupancy was low due to Covid times. However, food delivery by other restos closed this gap, staff was very accomodating. Maybe if the hotel keeps bicycles, occupants can use them to move around and enjoy.
