Brilliant would stay again .

Room was very clean and comfortable we also had our dog with us staff very friendly professional and so helpful, food was delicious.

We stayed in Hexham as part of a tour of Northumberland. The County proved a very good choice and we would recommend it

Central location. A warm welcome and comfortable room.

Good central location to explore the town. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room (family room 1 double, 1 single bed) comfortable, nicely furnished and very clean. We had a great evening meal in the restaurant - good range of choice on the menu and reasonably priced. Excellent breakfast - cooked to order.

No on site parking, but in fairness, free parking available close by within easy walking distance.

Matress was uncomfortable, and felt cheap.

Awesome!!

Staff in the hotel were really polite and friendly and went out of their way to assist. The room was on the smaller side but perfect for what we needed, clean and well Presented and tea and coffee facilities provided. Complimentary toiletries were so lovely. Afternoon tea was a delight and the breakfast was also lovely. Nice and central so would definitely stay again.

The heating! Due to the small room it was so hot so make sure you turn it off 😅

Probably one of the best hotels stays ever!

Easy access to property and well signposted. Excellent clean warm rooms for a chilly winter evening. Staff very welcoming and an absolute pleasure to stay in

Hotel is in a great location, the staff were so helpful and friendl, the food is good and reasonable priced.

lovely old style hotel, with lovely helpful staff, good food, good atmosphere and a great location!

We were in room 7, the road noise was bad through the night, it is above the kitchen so the noise of the extractor fans are disturbing early morning! The room was too hot, and the bed was so uncomfortable, made worse by the plastic mattress protector🥵

A lovely modernised, rustic hotel with a very welcoming and helpful team of staff.

A lovely hotel. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. Thank you for looking after us, especially for your patience when I was unwell. It is a great base to stay when visiting a town with a lot of heritage and character.

This is second time we have stayed here and again we had a lovely stay. It's in a good location for walking around hexham. Breakfast was lovely.

Great place to visit

Very attentive staff, room was immaculate with attention to detail - nice selection of biscuits, herbal tea etc. I had dinner there and it was the best scampi I have ever had.

Great hotel

The rooms where spotless,lovley white fluffy towels and plenty of condiments , staff where brilliant very friendly and helpful would defo stay there again if in the town .

Will stay again, next time I'm in Hexham

Staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for me. Room was very clean and comfortable. Amazing breakfast.

Although the breakfast was fantastic, unfortunately my evening meal was a little disappointing. I opted for the homemade steak and ale pie, but this was nuked in the microwave. Part of the pie was rock hard.

Exceptional

The staff were very accommodating, absolutely anything we asked for or needed was not a problem. We were given a lovely welcome and even though we checked in late and it was approaching 9pm we were assured that ordering dinner was still fine. We were in a large party all attending a family wedding and the day was made extra special because the staff went that extra mile to ensure everything we needed we got. When the taxi bus didn't have enough space for one of us to get to the wedding the hotel staff sorted another taxi, even saying if they couldn't get a taxi they would drive themselves!

We didn't like having to check out! I honestly cannot fault any aspect of our stay, its a superb hotel 👌.

Amazing. So friendly. Particularly the duty manager with the beard and the shorter waitress with the boyfriend who has a Belgian malinois.

unforgettable

absolutely immaculate! modern, and nicely decorated. had several bubble baths whilst we were staying. deluxe room had extra touches which made it feel even more special. breakfast was superb! definitely stay again!

we only stayed 1 night. would like to stay longer next time and dine there for an evening meal.

A very enjoyable stay.

Room was very comfortable and lots of little extras, which were a nice touch, e.g extra toiletries, bottled water plenty of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk in the room. Breakfast was very nice and tasty. plenty of choice of cereals and hot food choices. staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
