Amazing place, food, and owners.

Food was wonderful, great breakfast lunch and dinner options. Food for kids was good too. Lovely welcoming owners. Such a peaceful spot. Other guests were all lovely too. Good nearby restaurants and mini marts. We had a lovely stay and wish we could have stayed longer! The owners arranged a boat to take us to Bang Boa pier.

Le paradis de la Mangrove

Absolument tout ! L’emplacement, loin de l’agitation des zones ultra touristiques dans un village de pêcheurs au cœur de la mangrove de Koh Chang La maison, décorée avec beaucoup de soins, spacieuse, ultra confortable et très propre. La cuisine est délicieuse, la terrasse est très grande et donne un accès direct à la Mangrove (Lek prête son Kayak !) Enfin les hôtes sont les personnes les plus adorables et on reviendra pour eux, à leurs côtés nous étions en famille. La maison de Lek est un petit paradis et vous aurez de la chance d’y séjourner si vous en avez l’occasion. Nous on reviendra dès que possible!

Exceptional

The best thing about Baan Chan Lay is the owner P Lek and P Nut! They are very friendly and kind and fun to talk to. They also cooked delicious dinner for us. The forest and the river by the house is very beautiful.

We loved this place

Our hosts were absolutely delightful. Friendly, efficient and fun and also respectful of our quiet time in the sun loungers. We borrowed bikes which was a perfect way to get around the village and to the waterfall and mangrove forest. We ate in for breakfast and dinner. All the food was delicious. Top notch homestay and an authentic area to stay in for a few days.

Relax and watch birds

Calm, quiet patio with lots of birds. They let you use their kayaks for free to explore the mangroves. The hosts are so nice and welcoming, too. A great place if you want a relaxing vacation.

lek and noch were amazing. friendly, helping, flexible. they really took care of us. kayaking there every morning is remarkable. its really the end of the world. whoever gets there should ahave a way of transportaion. thank you again

Beautiful haven in the mangroves

Absolutely beautiful little gem at the end of the line of houses built into the mangroves. Beautiful views on two sides, with free kayaks for guests to use. Lek and Nooch were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and made us feel at home with our two children.

Nothing - it really is a little gem.

It's quite cheap somehow, but don't expect too much for this price

I ran UTKC, the location is perfect about 1-2 km from the starting point, walkable distance + pretty near to one of the greatest seafood restaurant on the island

Facility are somehow broken, one of our restroom heat system was way too off, cannot get exact right tempature another room television cannot functional well too

Superb

Lek and Nut have been very forthcoming and accomodating. Every request was handled promptly and helpfully. The meals have been good as well. We loved staying there and would do that anytime again. The boat trip and snorkeling was really great! Thanks for the nice days and good service!

The beds have been quite hard and it took some time to adjust. The rooms are not very spacious - as we are not skinny and had some luggage it was a bit cramped in the room.
