This is the perfect all season retreat for hitting the slopes, riding or hiking the trails in the summer, or just a cozy home base for visiting Glacier National Park and exploring all that Whitefish has to offer.
You will first be greeted by the heated driveway and secure underground parking. There is sufficient parking for multiple vehicles. Next, take a rest in the lobby by the fire in a cozy leather chair as you wait for your party or just drop off your gear in the ski locker and head up to the first floor in the oversized elevator ready to handle all of your luggage.
Spread out and rest those weary legs, it is rare to find 1700 sq ft on a single level, but this is just one of the luxuries here. Don't leave the comforts of your home behind, not a single detail has been spared to provide an enjoyable stay - granite countertops, decoratively tiled bathrooms, stainless appliances, sturdy Montana inspired log furniture, multiple flat screens, spacious reclining sofa set, and large solid wood dining table.
The gourmet kitchen has a gas stove, stainless appliances, plenty of countertop space and is wide open so you never miss your group's action or the views while preparing a feast in this fully-stocked kitchen. There is an attached breakfast bar with seating for 4 and a massive wood dining table with seating for 8 so there's plenty of room to host all your friends and family. The dining area is surrounded by windows so everyone gets to enjoy the views.
After dinner kickback on the reclining sofa set and enjoy the warm and easy-to-use gas fireplace. Curl up and read a good book, ponder the mountain views, grab a board game or puzzle from the bookshelf or watch a movie on the 42 in Smart flat screen TV with Blu-ray player.
Master bedroom #1 (can also be rented separately for a couples getaway) with ensuite bathroom, king bed, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, 42 inch flat screen, and views towards Kandahar Lodge.....you will definitely have to play Rock-Paper-Scissors to see who gets to call this home
Bedroom #2 - enjoy a bottle of wine or some hot chocolate on your own attached balcony with secluded wooded views. Fitted with a rustic Queen size aspen bed for dreaming about another day in paradise.
Bedroom #3 - Kids, or adults young at heart, will enjoy the massive queen/full log bunk bed. Whether the kids need a time out from you, or you need one from them, the kids-suite features its own 32 in flat screen TV. You will also find the TV ready to connect to a gaming console should your children refuse to leave home without it.
Bedroom #4 - the Rodeo inspired 'Corral' room has a queen bed and multiple windows to enjoy the morning sunrise while you stay toasty warm in bed.
Bedrooms 2-4 share 2 custom built bathrooms, one with a bathtub/shower combo and the other with a shower stall, and both with plenty of space.
The condo has 2 balconies to enjoy the outdoors, and off the dining area balcony there is a gas barbecue grill. The front balcony has views of the mountain and valley and the back balcony is private with large trees surrounding you. In the summertime, both balconies are a great choice for your morning cup of coffee. Also in the summer, before the week is done, you will have seen plenty of deer wandering down the street or munching on the neighbor's flowers!

The condo was spacious for our family. We had plenty of room and the place was clean and comfortable.

We originally had a few more friends planning to stay, but it ended up just being three of us, and the condo could not have been more perfect! We can’t wait to bring the rest of our friends back!
We cooked breakfast every morning and dinner several nights. All the cookware and spices were amazing and the views were incredible. A short walk to home again was great for getting first chair in the morning and easy coming home after a long day of skiing.
The covered parking was a huge benefit as well.

Excellent condo! The pictures don’t do it justice. There was plenty of space for our (now) 9 adult family! Very clean, well stocked kitchen, excellent bathrooms, extra fans and boot dryers, lots of board games and books. We met several other families staying or living in the building as well as neighbors across the street and everyone was so kind and helpful. It was very easy to access the ski trails and ski back for lunch or end of day. Heated garage was wonderful. The space was also very quiet with comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again! Only improvement would be to have access to a hot tub!

Overall it was a good stay. It was a short drive to whitefish ski base lodge. The heated underground parking garage was very nice in the negative degree weather. Good spacious layout. Slept fine on the beds. The pillows were little flat. The main bedroom shower wouldn’t drain very well. The central heat didn’t work so we had to use space heaters. So was kind of hard to regulate the temps. The wifi was spotty. Good views of couple ski lifts and runs. Would stay again.

Stayed for a week. Two families of four. Plenty of space for hanging out and sleeping. We ate most of our breakfasts and dinners at the condo and the kitchen had everything we could've possibly needed. Super close to the slopes and our favorite Apres spot (The Bierstube). Property manager responded quickly when we had a minor issue. The temporary building-wide heating system work that's discussed on the listing was a complete non-issue. All in all, great spot and a great trip.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting Whitefish. The condo was very accommodating. Kitchen had every utensil needed to prepare meals. Beds were very comfortable, although pillows could use upgrading. Will definitely request again when traveling back to Whitefish!

Everything about our trip was great. Communication with property manager was awesome, unit was clean and had everything we needed from chairs for the lake, to a grill for steaks. They are building a new building next door, so you had to deal with construction noise and traffic, but the evenings were quiet and we enjoyed sitting on the patio. With 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, this was the perfect unit for our family of 8.

Overall a really nice condo. Pretty much everything you need has been provided. For some reason, the master bedroom’s AC makes loud wind noise. We turned it off but still can hear the noises from the floor above. Will stay again.

That was frustrating as we rented this specific place because of the amazing hot tub photos and when searching we used the filter hot tub. Everything else about the condo was amazing with beautiful decor, clean, comfortable and very well equipped with great views! Communication was excellent!
Also we checked out a day early so we could head back to the airport for an early morning flight. Owner tried to rent it so we didn’t have to pay the day. It didn’t happen and we had to pay, but appreciate the effort!

Great group trip!
We had a wonderful stay at The Pines. The rooms were spacious and the condo had everything we need. It was great to have covered parking and the location has easy access to the mountain and local shops/bars. Everyone had plenty of space was very comfortable. I would recommend having some type of drying rack for the dishes, a few more towels (I think there were 7 towels and we had 8 guests), and paper towels.

Nice Condo with some issues, bit on the pricey side.
Pros:
The condo had a very nice decor. The beds were comfortable enough. There were nice matching dishes and plenty of them. We saw a crockpot and blender(didn't use them) Keurig, coffee pot, electric kettle, 3 pans, which were no good and even rusted. contacted the property manager and 2 new pans were delivered. Keypad entry was nice, no worries about losing keys. No one was needed to be present at check in or check out. They were toiletries, soap shampoo body wash. A small gift basket of snack food. some(left from other guests) seasonings, oil, refrigerated condiments. DVDs, games, puzzles, etc. 1 king, 2 queens, and 2 full size bunkbeds, enough for 10 people, but it says 9 max.
Cons:Plenty of dishes, but not pots and pans and what was there, they were small. Our group was 9 people, so I had to cook in smaller amounts 2 or 3 times to make enough food. I would have liked larger pots, pans, serving dishes. AC wasnt sufficient. They was in the high 90's the week we went. And it was almost unbearable in the condo. It stayed warm well into the night, so opening windows wasn't helpful. A service man was sent out(but not until after half our stay), it helped with the master bedroom(as it has a separate thermostat), not in the main condo. One of the bathrooms doesn't lock. Ran out of napkins the first night, paper towels the day b4 we left, was almost out of TP. I feel like more should have been provided. Only one towel each, not enough hand towels or wash clothes. I would have liked 2 towels each, or at least a few towels extra, so while they are being washed, we could also shower if we needed too. Since there are so many lakes and it was hot, I would have like to see colored beach towels to use. We had no towels to take to the lakes. This condo is way up in the mountain, near the ski resorts, making it about 15-20 from the city, about 40-45 minutes to Costco, about an hour or so from Glacier. Bad cell service(almost non existent), and not good wifi service. One last thing, under ground parking there appeared to be 2 fans on each side the parking, but I didn't hear them on, the exhaust smell is really bad dont think they were working or on. I could even smell the exhaust in the master bedroom. The condo is on the first floor right above parking. I liked the Condo, but Im not sure if I wud stay there again, it was small, AC issue, and the exhaust, too far from the city. It was a bit pricey. Maybe for skiing, if the exhaust issue was fixed.
