Mooie appartementen vlakbij de piste

Heel mooi ingericht appartement en van alle gemakken voorzien. Keuken ook uitgebreid; koelkast met vriesvak, magnetron en aparte oven, vaatwasser en koffiezetapparaat (filter koffie). Genoeg ruimte in de studio voor 2 personen. Fijne douche met voldoende waterdruk. Ruim balkon. Lekker bed. Heerlijk om na het skiën gebruik te maken van de sauna. Elke ochtend broodjes aan de deur. Op een paar minuten lopen van de piste. Klein stukje naar beneden skiën en dan ben je bij de lift. Het is dus geen ski in ski out.

Er is een kinderspeelruimte naast de rustruimte van de sauna. Als er kinderen spelen is dit wel storend. Wanneer de piste, om helemaal naar beneden te gaan, gesloten is dan kun je alleen nog met de lift naar beneden. Alleen vanaf de lift is het niet te doen om terug te lopen naar het appartement. Je kunt dan het best de auto bij de lift zetten. De piste kan ook best pittig zijn dus veel mensen gaan ook helemaal terug naar beneden met de lift. Je moet met de auto naar het dorp voor supermarkt en/of restaurant. Dit wisten we vooraf dus niet echt een nadeel.

Fabulous

We liked everything about this property and Alessandra and Christian met us at reception and were very welcoming and helpful.

Just one minor thing, the room Was very warm and a stuffy. A pedestal fan would make a huge difference when the weather is very warm

The host was incredibly welcoming, the appartement very clean and was very warm. It was equipped with everything we needed and was very authentic too. I will definitely be going back to the apartments again!! Thank you very much!

Lovely stay in the Alpbach region

The appartements are located in the lovely Alpbach region, where you can do many beautiful summer walks and activities for children. The appartment was big enough for two adults and two children and had everything we needed, and also has a playground. The host and local people were very friendly as well.

It was good that we could order something in the room for breakfast, but a little more variation would have been even better. The pillows were a bit fluffy and too soft; a choice between soft and hard ones would have been nice.

Exceptional

Here we spent one of our best holidays. The location is wonderful, a very peaceful place, situated at maximum 10 min. walking distance from the mountain lift. The house is traditional, but the apartments are modern, comfortable, very clean, well maintained, and have large balconies. The owners are extremely kind and always willing to help. Alexandra, the host we had the most contact with, was very welcoming and helpful during our whole stay. You have no chance to get bored at Kolberhof or in the area. There are plenty of things to do for everyone. We did not travel with children, but we noticed and appreciated that the house is children friendly. At the property you have the possibility to order fresh bread, which you get in the morning, and to buy all kind of home made products. We tried apple juice, apple mouse, elderflower syrup, jams, pesto. All were delicious. We really enjoyed being here, in the beautiful Alpbach Valley and will definitely come back. If we should describe Kolberhof in two words, those would be “highly recommended”.

We really enojoyed our stay and planning to come back.

- great location, mountain lift 10 mins walking distance - spacious and comfortable apartment - balcony with great view - you can buy home made products here - we tried apple juice, honey, jam and eggs - all delicious!

Excellent Fantastic Peaceful

The host Alexandra & Christian are very kind, helpful & welcoming. Overall, we had a very nice experience with them. Apartment is at an excellent location with so much of peace & serenity, traditional wooden house but interiors were modern & well done tastefully. Would love to come back for Skiing & summer vacations in future

A very nice apartment complex a little bit outside of Alpbach

The view from the apartment and the apartment standard. Plenty of parking. Nice playground for the kids. They offered newly baked breads in the morning.

To have paid the washing machine with an app instead of coins (50 cents)

Comfortable and convenient

Modern and comfortable apartments with fairly well equipped kitchen, friendly staff and good location not too far from the lifts to the slopes. We were lucky and had good snow so it was possible to ski down to the lifts and directly from the slopes home. However, I can imagine that if the snow does not stay, it might be a bit more complicated to reach the lift and it might require a small car ride as it would be quite difficult to reach by foot. Sauna 4 days a week was an unexpected plus.

Nothing not to like, although we did find a bit disturbing that toilets do not have any windows or aeration.... (Also, for people not speaking German, it might take some time to communicate - nonetheless the owners and staff are really friendly.)
