Good location and nice breakfast

Free breakfast was amazing value. Nice touch!

The female 8 bed dorm only had one shower and toilet. It was quite crammed and stuffy!

A clean, quiet hostel with good value for money

The hostel is in an excellent location, just a short walk to Old Town. The free breakfast was great. The hostel is modern and clean.

On the last night at the hostel, there was a strong smell of sulphur coming from the bathroom. It was a bit unpleasant.

More of a hostel for tourists than peregrinos

Nice kitchen, dining room, patio and common areas. Beds were comfortable. Good breakfast.

Because I was walking the Camino del Norte, I was surprised to find they didn't have any facilities to wash clothes or anyplace to hang them to dry (other than patio furniture or railings). The sinks in the bathroom were tiny so it made washing out clothes difficult. I hung my clothes to dry over the patio furniture and railings. I'd say this is more of a tourist hostel

Increïble estada a Donosti gràcies al Koba Hostel.

L'esmorzar era just però correcte. El personal encantador. I les instal·lacions molt acollidores. Habitació perfecte per a grups, amb possibilitat de coneixer gent als espais comuns.

L'aigua calenta va i bé, i tot i els cartells d'estalvi d'aigua, acabes malbaratant bastanta aigua. L'esmorzar podria tenir alguna cosa més, però molt correcte pel preu de l'allotjamment.

Evita este lugar. No debería ni estar abierto.

Irme del alojamiento.

Un lugar lamentable, si puedes evitar pasar por aquí, mejor para tu salud. La habitación se encontraba sucia y en malas condiciones de conservación y con olor a alcantarillado que provenía del baño. Mantenían la puerta del baño cerrada en un intento de que pasase desapercibido el olor en la habitación, pero no funcionaba y lo único que consiguieron fue un baño con un olor insalubre (habría que ver si este olor no va acompañado de vapores poco deseables para tu salud) y una temperatura desagradable en plena ola de frío. Los ruidos, golpes y sonidos de bajantes de otros baños no dejan que descanse ni un momento por la noche y si enciendes la calefacción, prepárate a soportar ruidos y temperaturas que no se corresponden con el termostato. Se pidió el cambio de habitación o la reparación de las incidencias, pero aun estoy esperando. El personal, como si no hubiese nadie.

En general el desayuno está bien. Echo en falta pan en barra y algún caliente.

La refrigeración del cuarto de baño, al estar fuera de la habitación, el habitáculo de la ducha está un poco frío.

Superó mis expectativas

El sitio está completamente reformado, la instalaciones son modernas y todo funciona correctamente. Estaba todo muy limpio. El personal era muy amable! Las habitaciones amplias y las camas muy cómodas. El desayuno estaba incluido y habia de todo. La ubicación muy bien.

Well-located and social

I loved the relaxing area, the well-equipped kitchen and diner and the location of this hostel. So close to Zurriola beach and Gros station. The rooms were good and I appreciate having the showers inside. Easy to meet people.

Beds are a creaky, so you really know it when someone comes to bed. As the sink is in the room you can be disturbed by people coming in late at night and turning on lights etc. but as ever it always depends on your roommates!

El personal es increíble, no pusieron pegas a mi llegada a las 2 de la mañana. Las instalaciones están genial y situadas en una zona fantástica de la ciudad. El desayuno está incluido y está bastante bien. El precio es genial para una ciudad como Donostia. Para repetir seguro. No dudes en reservar aquí

Great stay

Great central location to the beach and old town. Nice relaxed vibe in the hostel and easy to meet people. Nice common areas to hang out. 10 bed dorm was Spacious with 2 bathrooms and everything felt clean. Air con worked well in the room! Nice brekky each morning with enough options. Free tea and coffee and kitchen facilities were great.

The hostel is very well located. The staff is super nice and friendly. The facilities are clean and well organized. Breakfast is very basic but the kitchen is well equipped if you would like to prepare your own food. The room was cozy and clean

The only down side is that I would not recommend rooms on the ground floor, especially room number 1 is very noisy due to its location

Lovely hostel, but not pilgrim friendly for those who want to leave early (before 7am) to walk the Camino Norte.

The accommodations were lovely for a hostel. very clean and efficient. beds comfy.

They close the kitchen at night and don’t open it until 7am. I am walking the Camino and I wanted to leave before 6:30am, and I was told at check-in I could use the coffee machine in the morning. That morning, the kitchen was closed off and the staff member was irritated with me wanting to use the kitchen. I was told I could have a drink of water but no coffee. it was a very uncomfortable situation for me.
