Exceptional

We had the most perfect ending of our trip in Tunisia at this little gem in Hergla. To be honest, we already had quite high expectations of our stay because of the good reviews. Actually we didn't know much about Hergla and we came mostly for L'artisan and the fact that Hergla was a small place close to the sea. Both Hergla and L'artisan surpassed our expectations. Hergla is such a nice little relaxed town. It didn't feel crowded with turists and it still had a sleepy holiday vibe to it. The houses are beautiful and the people are friendly. Our room at L'artisan was huge and beautifully decorated and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect stay. The owner is an excellent chef (and by excellent i really mean excellent). Everything we had from his kitchen was top notch - he even arranged for us to go on a boat trip with a local friend and his son, and when we spontaneously decided to buy fish from local guys during this trip he prepared them for us for dinner. Go here, you won't regret it.

Exceptional

Everything was so beautiful. The room and the way the swans were made out of towels. The welcome and my name. Breakfast tea coffee you name it. The host went above and beyond! Every intricate detail was taken care of. If you stay here you will find out just how amazing it is and how homely it feels! I highly recommend. You must stay here!

A beautiful find , definitely worth a visit here , you will not be disappointed

This is a beautiful property, I loved all the quirky things to look at when you walked in and the attention to detail was great, I had my name on the stairs as you walked up to the room, it has a fantastic view from the large outside area off the bedroom and you can see the sea !! , the fridge had snacks and water in which was a lovely to have on arrival , and the breakfast the next day was lovely

Fantastic

Rooms: clean, comfort and well maintained. Hospitality: warm welcome and very helpful personnel. Food: I had fantastic lunch (grilled fish with salad); fresh, clean and tasty! Location; excellent, close to small fishing port and beach, shops and restaurants are nearby too.

Price is a bit too high for room without breakfast. However, considering the quality of room and service I am still satisfied :)

A lovely stay with an exceptionally caring host.

Excellent location which doesn't appear to be a tourist hotspot, which is exactly what I was looking for. The owner Bannour is a kind, polite and exceptionally caring person, he would regularly ask after us to make sure we were okay and would offer us tea and coffee regularly. The room had lovely decor, was large and very spacious. We had breakfast at the residence every morning and it was fresh, delicious and clearly made with a lot of care. There are plenty of local cafes around, with several small areas for swimming close by which again are largely unspoilt by excessive tourism. I would definitely stay again!

Banour is a really gentle person. He cares a lot about you and he is always there to help you if you need something. The apartment is really cute and the view is a dream! I will definitely come back there. Thank you Banour

Very good

Excellent location in lovely town Hergla. Very nice and humble owners. Got good fresh food, and good normal (English type) breakfast.

Ground floor room without windows and open directly to street. We changed to top floor which was cosy, nice balcony and well done interior decoration.

Excellent!

Hergla and especially the street of the accommodation was a really great area, much less influenced by mass tourism buildings found elsewhere.
