Stayed for three nights. If you like to dance, stay around Thursday night. Large hostel with beachfront access. Isolated

Loved how the beach was a stone throw away, the individual bathrooms large, free drinking water, bar/restaurant served decent food, and Thursday DJ night!

Difficult to charge phones and chargers in dorm room as the outlets are in inconvenient locations.

Absolutamente todo me gustó, tiene todos los ambientes que necesitas en una estadía, puedes estar relajado, tranquilo, tener muy buena alimentación, y al mismo tiempo estar en ambiente de fiesta, y pasándola fenomenal.

Les pires moments de mon voyage. Et je vais demander un remboursement complet et une compensation.

Le service impecable

Un wifi qui ne fonctionne jamais particulièrement dans les dortoirs. Des pannes d’électricité récurantes, (tout les jours. Toutes les nuits), et plusieurs fois par jour, plusieurs fois par nuit. Des douches sans sans à chaque jours,tout les jours. J’ai prévenue les employés régulièrement Du bruit, du bruit et encore du bruit du matin au soir impardonnable. C’est clairement insultant Des journées complètes harcelées par la musique atroce. Même le matin j’étais obligé de demander de baisser le son. Un manque de respect envers les clients qui comme moi ont tres mal dormi. Des soirées affreuses un dj. Lourd très lourd Aucun espace pour se reposer, relaxer, lire. Un restaurant trop cher, et surtout une nourriture en deçà de la normale. J’ai passé 7 jours atrocement fatigant ne pouvant dormir que très tard. Les ventilos qui s’arrêtent aux 15 minutes. Des dortoirs envahi par des étrangers. De nombreux lits occupés par plusieurs personnes, et je n’oublie pas les chiens qui dormaient dans la chambre et qui jappaient toute la nuits . Cette hotel nous prend en otages, nous oblige à manger sur place. Je suis consultant en Développement de Tourisme durable. Je travaille au sein de ce domaine depuis 35 ans. Jamais je ne recommanderais votre établissement. C’est un attrape touristes Je vais donc demander a Booking un remboursement total et surtout une forte compensation pour la nourriture. De plus, j’ai attrapé un empoisonnement alimentaire très sérieux. Et je encore en convalescence.

Hermosas playas, un ambiente tropical fantástico y una comida que superó nuestras expectativas.

Algunos malos olores ocasionales cerca a la habitación producto (creo) del pozo séptico de los baños.

Dorms were so hot, maybe a small fan for each bed? One member of staff that played really loud bad o music which would always kill the vibe, as soon as he left both days the music and vibe changed completely

The property was nice and organized but the service was lacking charisma and care that I was looking for after a long jo

What I loved was how secure the property is with the gated entrance of both the main front entrance and of the hostel itself. The property also includes private access to the beach along with surf boards, paddle boards, ping pong table, beer pong night when we were there, massages at your disposal (you pay separately) also they are the best massages I’ve had in a long time- both women attended very well.

We showed up late in the evening, around 10PM/11PM, the check in process wasn’t the best. None of the staff wanted to check us in when we arrived and it became an inconvenience to them. I didn’t appreciate that since I had taken three flights and a 22 hour car ride from Bogota to arrive to this hostel- only to have poor service from the start. We had actually ended up first at Costeńo Beach on accident since that’s where our taxi dropped us off at and to be honest I wish I had booked there instead just from the care and attention I was given by the staff. We only ordered breakfast in the morning and even that was done incorrectly as the bartender got my order wrong. By that point we were already exhausted and the stay wasn’t living up to what I was told by my family member who had recommended this hostel. We only stayed the night and first thing in the morning left to Costeño Beach and spent the entire day there without a reservation of a room. The staff remembered us from the night before and made it as comfortable as they could for us and we’re very attentive and so kind, It completely turned the vacation around and it was the perfect way to end our stay in Tayrona.

Nice hostel at the beach front

Nice location and pool area, they also run daily activities. The restaurant is also pretty good for dinner.

The WiFi network could be improved, does not work at all at times. The bar staff is very uncoordinated. Breakfast wasn’t worth it.

it’s more a party hostel for American people. don’t go there if you want a place to chill that is not too expensive.

the pool and the food was nice and it was located next to the beach. everything was clean.

the staff was really unfriendly, especially in the kitchen. the music was played way to hard and we couldn’t sleep. the food was too expensive for what you get. we didn’t really like the atmosphere of the people there and the second pool was really disgusting.

HORRIBLE stay, stung by bed bugs, unapologetic and unkind staff

We went there twice due to a trip in the middle, the first time sleeping in the Deluxe Double Room. The first night we couldn’t sleep, covered by red bites (more than a 100 on my boyfriend’s body). At first we thought they were mosquitoes (quite common for the region) but it was itching all day and night long. After 5 day, everything was bloody or infected. When we got back, the reception lady didn’t even care about the hell we had been through or our health. People were sleeping in that same bed and she didn’t even warn them or arranged a proper cleaning. As there’s nothing nearby, I had to pay a cab to go to the pharmacy, which they didn’t even offer to take in charge. Same for cleaning all of our clothes. Honestly, worst stay ever. It has cost me a week of suffering. There are a lot of hotels on this beach, go somewhere else !

Was very annoyed that there was loud construction going out outside the dorms every day that I had no warning off, so you couldn’t sleep past 8am. The staff/volunteers were generally really unhelpful and disappointing to interact with. There didn’t seem to be any management overseeing the younger members of staff. Everyone had an attitude. The beds were frequently missing sheets or pillows. There was inconsistencies in the facilities on offer like hot water to drink or water to brush your teeth and wash your hands. The coffee was also disgusting. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working most of time. In honesty I have no idea how this hostel has so many good reviews. Must have gone downhill

Dorms and Private Rooms feel like two different hostels. Be aware of transportation.

Private rooms are far from the common areas, you can still hear the music at night but is within expected for a party hostel. They have perfect mosquito nets. There are no doors (tent style wall) but there are big wood boxes that fit at least 2 carry on and backpacks. They don't include the locks... Common areas area amazing, the bar has areas with table, benches, hammocks, ping pong tables even some decks for working with outlets every 1 meter. The beach is not good for swimming, extremely rough waters but they have some chairs to sit and enjoy the view.

One of the share dorms is tooo close to the party area, cannot imagine having a good experience there. Getting to the hostel is a bit of a problem with public transportation. Accept taking a taxi or you will have to ride behind a motorbike (not the typical colombian mototaxi "tuk-tuk" style) a simple unmodified motorbike which is also a problem with luggage. Buses drop you off on the main road, at night might not be any mototaxi or anything there for the next 2km. Take away: try to arrive by taxi from Santa Marta. Once at the hostel they can call you a taxi or a motorbike and you can combine with buses so that is not so much of a problem.

try other hostels, this is not the one

the only really good thing here is the food taste, but you’ll need at least 1 hour to have it.

Is the worst hostel around here. The staff has lack of experience, or interest about their jobs overall. Is frustrating trying to do something at the hotel, like having a juice will take 20 min for you to have it. The dorms are okay but in the other hostels you can find something better with same prices. Pool is on construction and they don’t tell you before. The construction is near the dorms and the bar so you’ll take your lunch full of dust and your room will probably have it too. I will definitely recommend yo stay in other hostels near.
