From our Beach Club, you can enjoy overlooking the ocean and ancient Hawaiian ponds or walking directly onto the sandy A’Bay Beach, short for Anaeho'omalu Beach, and about 150 yards from the Beach Club where Watersports await.
Our beautiful Penthouse villa 16F located in building 16, third floor, overlooks the majestic mountains. The unit is richly furnished along with High End Electronics and Appliances, Central air conditioning, Ceiling fans throughout, Granite countertops, Travertine floors, African mahogany crown molding and cabinetry.
The lanai features Teak wood cabinetry, an outdoor living/dining area, with a gourmet Viking gas grill and rotisserie, along with a refrigerator. The retractable pocket doors bring together the lanai and living areas in a natural flow.
You will have a spacious 1270 square-foot living area plus a 150 square-foot lanai. This two-bedroom penthouse villa includes a king bed in the master bedroom and a 42-in TV. The ensuite master bath has a separate oversized shower, and a luxurious soaking tub, double sinks with natural stone finishes. In the second bedroom there is a queen-size bed and 42-in TV. At the Queen’s Marketplace, you can find all your groceries and beverages. They even have a gourmet market where you can find meals that are ready-made. Behind the Marriott, you’ll find the Lava Lava Beach Club and Anaehoomalu Bay (better known as A-Bay), a beautiful crescent shaped public beach that offers many ocean sports for the whole family.

There could not have been a nicer place to stay on the island. Everyone loved the condo so much it was in mint condition and in the most prime location for walking to shops close by. The host was super responsive as well and attended to all our needs I couldn’t be more grateful

The Kolea Penthouse (16F) was in a nice location and came fully equipped. The kitchen had every utensil you could think of, the living areas and balcony deck were very comfortable. The unit allows access to the complex's private pool and jacuzzi. The beach is a few minutes walk and a 10 minute walk to LavaLava which is a fun restaurant on the beach. Overall, we had a great stay.

Everything about our trip was amazing. The condo was perfect, we really appreciated the closet full of beach gear like masks and snorkels, boogie boards, fins, chairs, you name it.
The location is perfect as well. The host Hannah was super responsive while booking. We hope to come again!

We spent 2 weeks in this well-designed and very nicely furnished condo. Kitchen was extremely well stocked, as was the shed full of beach gear. Very central location to access shopping centre, beach and various walking trails.

The apartment was super nice, clean, well decorated and nothing was missing. The proximity to the wonderful beach and the Lava Lava Beach Club are perfect. Hannah is a very loving landlady. We had a great holiday in paradise and are very much looking forward to coming back

Hannah was always available and ready to answer questions. A little disappointed carport repair impacted parking availability but understood that was out of Hannah’s control.

This is a great property, convenient location, that had everything we needed during our two week stay. Very comfortable beds, quiet complex and the condo was very clean. I didn’t feel this unit was up to the standard of others I’ve rented in the same area. It wasn’t super clean. I also felt the furnishings such as the towels & bed linens were poor quality. For the amount we paid it was underwhelming.

We just returned from 10 days on the BI and absolutely loved this property! We are a family of four with kids 5 and 8. The condo is spacious with thoughtful touches and everything you could possibly need to explore the island. Communication with Hannah was excellent and thorough throughout the entire process. Easy walk to A-Bay and the Kings/Queens Shops. Kolea is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or rent from Hannah! Mahalo! 🌺

This was our family's 2nd stay at Kolea, first stay at 16f, and another great vacation! The resort is fantastic--loved the pool, hot tub, and easy access to the great beach. Hannah's condo at 16f is wonderful! I do a lot of food preparation and the kitchen had everything we needed: the pots & pans, cooking utensils, spacious grill and storage containers were plentiful, quality, and varied. We had one small hiccup with the fridge, but Hannah was very responsive and super nice about it, and the repair guy was extremely friendly and efficient. Our previous stay was in Building 9 (which was also great), we weren't sure if building 16 would be a little "too far" from the beach, but that wasn't the case at all--incredibly easy walk to the resort pool and beach. The view from the lanai was spectacular, and we totally loved it. Really nice place and really great vacation.

Wonderful property in so many ways. Great location, easy walking access to beach, pool, amazing trail right along the coast, and nearby shops/restaurants. The inside of the condo was high end and beautiful. Loved the lanai with doors that open to make indoor/outdoor space. Used much of the outdoor gear without having to bring, buy, or rent. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Sad to leave!

Lovely location. Close to food, beaches, restaurants. Weather was perfect. I’ve stayed in the Waikoloa area a number of times before and it has never disappointed. The only down side is it eventually has to end

We stayed here for the Ironman championship. Both the participants and the family found the place great to stay, everything we need is around the property without being too crowded. Kona is also a short 30min drive away. Property itself is in great condition with lots of space. Highly recommended.

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Hannah's condo. Everything we needed was provided, the beds and all furniture were so comfortable, and coffee on the lanai and early evening happy hour on the lanai was perfect. It was my 50th bday, and I opened the refrigerator and found a surprise cake waiting for me. It was indeed a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more special. The only issue was the bbq was not working correctly when we tried to use it, and it was a bit sketchy having to light the grill with a long lighter. I am hopeful they do, in fact, order the part and fix the grill. All in all, very happy with our choice of accommodation.

Wonderful Place - Far exceeded expectations!
The attention to detail, the extensive kitchen appropriations, the beach club and the sheer luxury all made this a wonderful escape. The host was on point with all information in advance, and check in and check out was a breeze. We loved the lanai and grilling out in the evenings. This home was so well stocked with everything imaginable in the kitchen. I am a professionally trained chef, so I was very impressed! We only went out to eat once for dinner while we were there for 7 nights.
The location is less than 30 minutes to Kona, making it convenient to activities there. It is a great launch point for Island exploration.
If you’re planning a Big Island escape, this is your place!!

Great location and great host!!
This condo was excellent!! We especially loved the lanai with the BBQ, it made dinners so much easier. The only thing that could have made this unit better was a view of the ocean and a shorter walk to the beach. The resort area was close to the airport, very convenient with restaurants and shops and had easy access to a decent beach with good ocean swimming. The beach club (pool area) was very nice although a bit stuffy. Our kids were quite upset they were not allowed to throw around the football in to pool. If that's sort of thing is really important to you this property may not be for your family, otherwise it's excellent. The host has really thought about little things to make your vacation easier and the condo is abundantly stocked with many conveniences. The storage locker contains just about anything your family would need for a fun day at the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Everything We Needed!
- Immaculate, beautifully appointed condominium. So much nicer than staying in even a five star hotel room. Great kitchen. Large lanai was perfect for lounging - and grilling!
- Gated condo community, very private feeling and away from the hustle/bustle of the neighboring mega resorts. Grounds beautifully landscaped and maintained.
- Short walk to great private beach club facility, always able to find chairs by the pool. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Gorgeous sunsets every night from the secluded beach just outside the beach club facility (and highly recommend dinner at the Lava Lava Beach Club down the beach on the other side of the Marriott).
- Owner-provided beach gear was absolutely fantastic for a day spent at nearby Hapuna beach, including beach chairs and umbrellas (no shade on that beach!).
- Great home base for all the sights around the island
- And most importantly, Hannah was so pleasant to work with, quick with communication and thinks of everything you might need for a relaxing, memorable stay. We hope to be guests of hers again in the future!!!

Hanna was great to work with to book and rebook due to pandemic. From the moment we arrived to the awesome condo to the sad day we had to leave we had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the complex we were in which was extremely safe, clean and convenient amenities.

Wonderful place
We had a wonderful time. The condo is beautifully decorated and clean. Property manager had a welcome basket of tropical fruit and chocolates. Beds are very comfortable as are the bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cutting boards and pots/pans. Having a parking spot was a big plus. Would highly recommend staying here and we certainly want to come back again.

Great First Trip to the Big Island
Our stay at Kolea was amazing! The photos don't do this location justice. Hannah was very easy to work with and even gave us early access at last minutes notice when our flight was early. The place was also set up to welcome us for our anniversary with gifts and music waiting for us when we entered! Being able to fully open up the windows to the lanai was great and gave us a nice place to drink our morning coffee. There is easy access to the pool and beach with restaurants and shops just down the road. Next time we come to the Big Island, my first call will be to Hannah for a place to stay!

Our favorite Hawaiian vacation rental
We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals, but this one was “hands down” the best in terms of location, decor of the condo, cleanliness and value. The Kolea community is beautiful and very well maintained—we especially enjoyed the pool area with it’s views of the beach—comfortable lounge chairs too! The condo itself had everything we needed, we used the grill on the lanai every night and loved being able to open the sliding doors all the way to enjoy the ocean breezes. Check in was very easy, everything we needed was already in the condo. If we’re lucky enough to return to the island in the near future, we’d definitely choose this place!

Amazing Condo, family friendly complex, close to beach.
It was our first travel with our 20month old son, Hannah was great with our check-in process and was extremely responsive for any needs we had. The condo was clean, comfortable, and a luxury to stay in for almost 2wks! My wife was very impressed with the quality of cleaning supplies provided and assortment of cookware. We were a very short walk to the pool area with easy access to the beach at A-bay and an walk to King & Queen Shops areas. Only sad part of the trip was us staying so close to a beautiful golf course, and I didn't have time to play before we left. Looking forward to our next trip and will hopefully be able to book this gem again.

Vacation in Paradise
This property was beyond gorgeous! The advertisement was 100% accurate. All of the directions were very self-explanatory & there was a small issue with the pool card but we notified the owner and she promptly replied. I would 1,000% stay at this gorgeous condo again. It’s walking distance to everything you need-including the gorgeous beach! No need to drive all over the island to see turtles when you can walk to the left of Lava Lava Beach Club about 200 yards and there are turtles everywhere!
This condo met and exceeded my expectations! I’m a huge germaphobe and this condo was so clean when we arrived. We left our shoes outside the entire time, as requested by the owner. Thank you for such an easy process & letting us stay at your beautiful place in paradise!
