About this house rental

A cozy well kept bach in a great position [2 sunbeds for that afternoon snooze] with the shops and beach a short stroll away. A family bach with all the mod cons and comforts of home. This bach has been in our family since 1949 and has been added on and modernised but retained the retro feel (we get a lot of feedback from people who love the kiwiana theme). It's got a large section with fruit trees and plenty of space for the children to play.
We love to see the bach being used by families as we remember wonderful holidays there growing up.
As this is a bach, we ask you to bring your own towels and linen, as we do when we visit. We also ask you do a reasonable clean before leaving.
Should you require linen to be supplied it would be $15.00 per person plus we can offer a excellent cleaning service at $50.00 for 4 people plus $10.00 for each extra. These services are paid separately and provided by our property manager.
Special conditions:
A great value cleaning sevice is available at up to $80.00 depending on condition left. Linen supplied at. $15.00 per person includes washing and ironing Sheets, pillow cases,towels and tea towel.

Free unlimited fiber WiFi available.

A $25% deposit is required to confirm booking the balance is payable 1 month prior to stay.

Smoking allowed outside only
Families preferred.

No Tents allowed on section unless prior consent given.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);

It was a memorable holiday with my precious brother and sister before they move to USA. Perfect location to go for fishing on the beach and close to town centre. The bach was very comfortable and tidy. Tony allowed my small dog to stay at the outside utility room. Thanks for your kindness. The local manager Lynda was very friendly. Definitely would like to return again.

Had a great time in Whanga staying here. Close to town and the beach. It is an awesome kiwi bach and we appreciated having air con and a dishwasher that we hadn’t had at other old bach’s we had rented before. We’d definitely rent this one again.

It was a great house, had all that we needed for our family of 5 - 2 adults & 3 kids. We loved being able to walk to and from the beach, or walk to the shops. It was really hot when we were there so it was wonderful to have the air con option too! Thank you!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the privilege of holidaying here. The location is great. So close to town and the beach that I was able to calmly stroll to the shops/beach as opposed to the stress of battling for car parks. There is a huge back yard where I was able to have peace and quiet. We had a wonderful, comfortable relaxing stay. The check in process was thorough and efficient as was our checkout. I could not recommend enough.

We stayed with our surf crew and it was simply perfect. You can walk to the bar and have a surf. The living room has the perfect size for a social evening. The location really is superb! The batch wraps you in family memories and makes you feel as visiting your own family batch. We enjoyed our stay very much and are hoping to come back a lot :)

We had an excellent stay. The location so close to beach and town was perfect. The house has such charm, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Was clean and tidy. Big back yard, great for the kids. Safe street. Would for sure be back again.
