Mit Blick auf den Preis und andere, u.E. deutlich bessere Anbieter in Domburg war es ein einmaliges Abenteuer für uns

+ Traumhafte Lage direkt hinter den Dünen + Elektrotankstelle (gegen Bezahlung) + Gute Brotauswahl beim Frühstück + Freundliches Personal

_ Das Einchecken ist eigentlich nur 14-16 Uhr möglich _ kein Aufzug _ Die Zimmer sind altbacken, das Mobiliar ziemlich heruntergelebt, der Küche mit Herd und Kühlschrank ist ihr Alter ebenso anzusehen wie den Stühlen & Sofa _ Bei unserer Ankunft waren Haare im Bett, auf dem Laken waren Flecken, in der ziemlich angesifften Überdecke ebenfalls _ kurz nach 7 Uhr war das Reinigungspersonal aktiv mit Staubsaugen in benachbarten Zimmern & Reinigung im Flur. Besonders ärgerlich in einem eh hellhörigen Gebäude _ Die Frühstückszeiten waren unflexibel. Als weniger Gäste im Haus waren, startete das Frühstück erst um 9 Uhr, 8 Uhr war auch auf Nachfrage (wir wollten früh zu einem Tagesausflug nach Rotterdam starten) nicht möglich. _ Das Frühstück war für diese Preiskategorie und im direkten Vergleich mit mehreren Hotels in Domburg enttäuschend… … mit nur 1 (!) offenen Käse … mit geringer Auswahl an billiger Wurst … mit einem Kaffeeautomat von Douwe Egberts, der löslichen Kaffee mit Wasser versetzt und ein entsprechendes Gebräu produziert … mit ausschließlich eingepackten Marmeladen … lieblos und einfallslos, ohne Fisch, Salat o.a.

Da fahren wir wieder hin!

Das Frühstück war bei großer Auswahl reichlich. Die Lage hinter den Dünen wunderbar; man ist schnell an der Promenade und am Strand als auch im De Manteling: windgeschützt und im Sommer schattig kühl. Vorteilhaft ist auch der hoteleigene Parkplatz. Das Personal ist aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Lage: hervorragend, hinter den Dünen; kurzer Weg zur Promenade und zum Strand Zimmer: raktisch, gut, alles vorhanden, auch für Selbstversorgung Frühstück: umfangreich, mehr aals typisch niederländisch

Very nice family run hotel near the Dune. Parking next to Hotel

Major construction work next door starts at 7am. They are demolishing an old hotel and build a new one. I guess this will mean noise and dust for the next 12 to 18 months.

Cosy family-owned hotel in superior location

Hotel is located right behind the beach and close to the center. Our studio room was spacious with a modern bathroom and had a sunny balcony that we enjoyed during our stay. Breakfast offered a good choice, we liked in particular the home-made bread. Well-managed room cleaning - our room was always tidy when we came back from breakfast. Parking space right behind the hotel. The owner is very supportive in case you have any question. We will definitely come back again!

Our bathroom was slightly smelling from the drain. Nothing serious but might need a repair.

We are happy with our stay in this hotel.

Location is very good. One minute walking to the beach. Breakfast is also nice. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Our room faces the street. There was a lot of traffic noise during the day. In the late evening, it became quiet.

Lovely property close to the sea, with a real holiday vibe. Hosts were fantastic.

The room was very clean and attended to, which was a priority for us. The view was good. Nice TV for the rainy weather! wonderful mattress. Friendly receptionist.

I had missed the note that the room was on the 3rd floor with no lift. Upside is exercise. The breakfast was negligible - due to the corona rules we could not have the meal at the restaurant, we needed to go to the room. We were given a tray but we were not given the option of what we would take (eg 2 croissants for 3 people) and the funny thing is - the employee promptly told us that we were required to bring the tray back right after eating. That was not really nice.

It was close to the sea. The staff very friendly. The room very comfortable and clean.
