Man kann das Hotel für Kurzaufenthalte nutzen.

Zimmer sind sauber. Ausstattung der Zimmer insgesamt in Ordnung. Frühstück kann nicht bewertet werden, weil nicht gebucht.

Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig. Man bekommt die Geräusche aus dem Nachbarzimmer und vom Flur mit.

It was comfortable with some glitches. I would stay again if I didn’t have a car.

Close to the airport, clean and comfortable.

Parking was unavailable because their lot was full. It took nearly 30 minutes to find a parking spot. The other concern was the lack of potable water in the room. It made taking medication difficult. This could be easily resolved if the hotel provided a liter of bottled water in the rooms.

Short distance to airport

Nice and convenient with short distance to the airport. we payed 10 euro for the taxi. The neighborhood is cosy and local.

Πραγματικό στολίδι στο Ηράκλειο με ωραία άνετα, καλά εξοπλισμένα δωμάτια, καλό πρωινό και πολύ επαγγελματικό προσωπικό που πραγματικά μας έκανε να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας. Βρίσκεται κοντά στο αεροδρόμιο, όχι μακριά από το κέντρο της πόλης. Παρόλο που ακουγόταν ο ήχος από τα αεροπλάνα δεν ηταν ενοχλητικός. Μπορείς να απολαύσεις ύπνο το βράδυ στο τέλειο στρώμα του. Το προσωπικό πολύ εξυπηρετικό και πρόσχαρο και οι καθαρίστριες, ευχαριστούμε ιδιαιτέρως την κα. Κατερίνα, πολύ γλυκός άνθρωπος, & στην reception όλοι πολύ καλοί. Πολύ ευγενικός και εξυπηρετικός ο κ. Γιώργος απο την Κύπρο, συνιδιοκτήτης του ξενοδοχείου. Σίγουρα θα το ξαναπροτιμησουμε και θα το προτείνουμε και αλλού!

Ίσως χρειάζεται λίγη παραπάνω ποικιλία στο πρωινό. Αν και ήταν πολύ ικανοποιητικό. Είχε τα απαραίτητα. Ειδικά τα σπανακοπιτάκια ήταν τέλεια 😋😋

Zweckmäßig für eine Nacht

Fußläufig zum Flughafen, eine Nacht reicht dann auch. Das Badezimmer war sauber.

Klimaanlage stinkt so stark, dass man sie nicht nutzen kann. Das Frühstück ist nicht so gut-der Joghurt schmeckte nach Wachs.. irgendwie ungesund.

Typical transit hotel

very close to airport, walkable with light luggage. room was basic but clean, with the windows closed there was only little noise from the planes, did not bother me at all. Served its purpose as a transit hotel

hotel doesn't have many parking spaces and when those are full it gets tricky. Luckily I found a place for my car on the narrow streets.

Basic transit hotel close to airport

stayed there before last October, so I knew what to expect and what NOT to expect. This should be considered purely as a transit hotel, not more not less. When I kanded at HER long after midnight there was no more bus running so I had to take a Taxi and couldn't escape the "Minimum" fare of 15€ for the three minute ride. The next morning when I picked up my rental car I walked to the airport in less than 20 minutes. Room is clean but very basic. Noise from plane traffic is bearable.

the room is tiny, can't even sit at the desk properly as not enough space for the chair - see the pics. Very difficult to open your suitcase even as a single traveller. Breakfast is as basic as the room

FAB LITTLE HOTEL CLOSE TO AIRPORT

5 minute drive / taxi from Heraklion airport, very convenient for quick stay and access to the airport. Comfy bed. Air conditioning. 2 bottles of cold water in the fridge. WiFi. Clean pool. Snack bar open til 11.00pm. TV, large balcony. Good shower. Has air con lounge in reception and Raki welcome drinks!

You can hear planes taking off late at night and early morning due to the nature of close location to the airport. Breakfast was basic but the coffee machine was good!

Excellent and comfortable stay

Location as easy access to airport and to ferry and the town itself. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Hotel clean and tide bed comfortable

Just what we wanted

Good location for a quick stopover after flying in. It is in a residential area. Cool and spacious. Good taverna round the corner!

Good modern hotel with pool

The pool was good and the rooms clean and modern. The staff were efficient and polite.

The food choices at the hotel were very basic and boring but there was a great local Greek food takeaway that we walked to.

Very convenient hotel nearby airport.

Nice hotel, perfect if you arrive late at Heraklion and don’t have time to travel to your final destination. Nice terras near the swimming pool where you can have breakfast. Breakfast buffet is good as well. Cab from airport cost you around €15 as that’s the minimal fare. You can also walk in 20 minutes.

While having breakfast, we could hear the planes leaving airport but was not a big issue as we were there for only one night.

Good value, clean, very close to the airport.

We stayed here after arriving into Heraklion on a late flight before travelling on the next day. The Sofia Hotel was a perfect little stop off for us. It was walking distance to the car hire at the airport so the location was ideal for what we needed.

The hotel is located on a little side street very close to Heraklion airport so it is definitely a good airport type hotel. There is a pool but I would not recommend it for a longer holiday unless you specifically want to be near the airport.

Great choice for hotel!

Friendly, helpful staff! Great breakfast! Room was nice. Very close to airport and a little further to old town heraklion - but taxi will take u there for about $7e... or u can walk - nice walk too. We liked the hotel and recommend it - a little away from the "craziness" of old town but close enough to make it a good choice for a stay...

Very satisfied.

Very easy access from the airport to the hotel. Plane landed at 10pm and we had checked in at 10.30

Only a very short stay as we were passing through, so didn't find anything we didn't like
