Parking outside the room, friendly staff, nice bathroom

Room was very dated (except for the bathroom), could have been cleaner. Musty smell. Bed was uncomfortable. Shortage of electrical points.

Beautiful, peaceful location, would stay here again!

Beautiful location with a lovely, clean room. Very peaceful, quiet and safe! Breakfast was delicious. Perfect location if you are visiting the Harry Potter Studio tour as it is only a short drive! Wish we'd stayed longer and would definitely stay here again.

Rooms were old fashioned but we actually loved that as it gave it more character!

Wonderful location in Hemel Hempstead

Very good setting , good layout of the rooms and compound. Very neat grounds and safe parking facilities.

Lovely stay but room could do with a bit of upgrading.

Comfortable room & very clean. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was super especially the cooked breakfast which was extra but that didn’t bother us.

No plugs beside the bed. Only one double socket in the whole room. Wi-Fi wasn’t that great in the upstairs room we were in.

Easy check in. Ground floor with parking right outside Tea and coffee facilities Great for cycling and walking. Routes start across the road

Bed was a bit lumpy TV speakers are distorted making the audio hard to hear No meals catered for and nothing in easy walking distance A bit dark in the room and the only one of the small bedside lights worked

Better at the premier inn and that's saying something!

Location. That's about all.

Rooms are very dated. No air con. Very small TV. Shower cubicle was suitable for a child but not an average size adult. Free Wifi was terrible, worked for about ten minutes then for the rest of the week didn't work at all. Sheets had an interesting dusty smell to them. Bed was not comfortable and the hard wired alarm clock ticked all night. Did not get a good night sleep all week as the room was too hot but couldn't open the windows due to the noisy main road outside. Even with the old windows closed I could still hear the road and railway nearby.

Room was clean and the beds comfortable. Excellent breakfast & friendly staff. We appreciated the tea-making facilities and biscuits.

The main lighting dimmer switch was broken. We reported this to the manager who promised to look at it but we have no idea of whether this was done since we returned late after a party on the night of our stay & went straight to bed.

Excellent location. Easy to find it. Very clean room and extremely warm. Very close to restaurants and shops. Is excellent and quick escape from the madness of the city.

For the reason I chose this place it was perfect. No need to change anything

Breakfast was great, staff were really friendly. Convenient to have car right next to room.

Room was a bit dated and a bit stuffy so my daughter didn't sleep well. But it was great value for the money still.

A lovely stop off. Very convenient, easily located & friendly. An excellent find & have already recommended it to friends.

Nothing really. Maybe that the room was extremely hot (for me) which made for a restless night.

Very good

The room was a little small but perfectly ample for my one night stay. It was a little dated but all very clean and functional. It was great to hear the breakfast staff enjoying themselves and laughing from the kitchen...it most definitely made me smile at 7am in the morning. 🙂
