senior wellness paradise, less options for families with little kids

The hotel's wellness area is big and well designed, there are so many wellness options, many sunbeds and free towels. The food is ok, breakfast time you can ask for coffee from the waiter's, which is much better than their fast option from the machine. Welcome drinks and fruit plates are nice extra. Room design is modern and cozy.

1. long pants for men in the dinner buffet is mandatory, and they really not let you in if you do not wear long pants. I have found this quite annoying, they gave pants for my husband, but it was way too small or big for him, so it left us with some bitter feelings at dinner time. 2. the hotel is not exactly kids friendly. it is rather a senior paradise, everything well arranged for an older generation. What you find in other 5 stars hotels, to make your stay with small kids better, here you don't have them. Kids pool is basic, and means only shallow water, small playhouse maybe for very little toddlers ok, but for my 3 years old son already boring. And it closes at 18.00 Moreover it was the first hotel for a long time, that after booking a suite they made me pay extra fee for the two kids. I could not add my kids in the booking process as then it wanted to arrange for me automatically two seperated rooms. So I added only two adults in the suite, and 90% of the hotels are normally fine with it, as I have small kids, 3 and 5 years old. But here they made me pay extra for the kids, just keep this in mind if you travel with kids. 3. gym is open 7.30 to 22.00.... If you want to go early to gym, then here you won't.

Naprosto skvělá kuchyně. Kapacita SPA odpovídá kapacitě ubytování. Ve všech vodních atrakcích je vždy dostatek místa. Perfektní servis.

Personal sehr freundlich Warmer Poolbereich Zimmer sehr sauber Barzahlung mit Euro möglich Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub mit verbesserungs tipp

Uns haben 2 Kleinigkeiten die man verbessern könnte. Es wäre super wenn ein Plan vom Hotel ,welche Räume sich wo befinden in der Mappe im Zimmer befindet .ebenso auch welche Uhrzeit was am Programm ist. Saunalandschaft besser beschriften Das Hotel war wirklich toll aber die Getränke im Hotel waren sehr überteuert.

Nice hotel although a bit expensive

Very nice spa, with a great number of pools and saunas. The hotel and spa were not crowded. Masages (thai and medical) were excelent. Welcome drink was also nice.

Guests do not use saunas as they should be-many do not put towels under their feet. Also, some guests complained that we were naked inside of sauna. Finish sauna works only until 18:00.

Amazing hotel

Very nice interior design, beautiful pools, big sauna, nice cocktails, food was amazing. The bed was super comfortable...

Sauna opened only 9.30, gym only 7.30. The music stopped at 10PM.

Excellent as always

This was our fifth visit to the hotel, and we return at least once annually for a compelling reason. Despite having tried other wellness hotels throughout Hungary, Spirit undeniably stands out as the finest, particularly due to its outstanding wellness amenities, an exceptional variety of breakfast and dinner options, and the commendable professionalism exhibited by the staff.

Although we turned off the heating, the room was slightly warm during the night. With the terrace door open, there is some noise from the street early in the morning. Not much traffic but still we had to close the door.

Very Nice Wellness Resort

Facilities were good, staff were professional and friendly, and the food was of a high quality (excellent wine list).

The only thing was the "mandatory" no clothes policy in the sauna area. Personally I couldn't care less about it, but my wife wasn't too impressed (especially with the old guy who works there walking around telling younger women that they had to take their clothes of).

Awesome, i won't go anywhere else from now on

The service, the infrastructure, the spa (never seen something like this before), the food, quality and variety of it, the cocktails quality, the sauna seance, and the bottomless prosecco at breakfast!

I am not sure if it was the bed or the room temperature and the thick duvet, but I couldn't sleep great! Although that doesn't change my mind about wanting to go back!

Nice stay with minor inconveniences

The spa area is fantastic, the perfect activity for the whole day. The choice and quality of the restaurant is impressive, the service attentive. The room was comfortable and the right size.

Unfortunately, the traffic on the road in front of the hotel had increased during years, the noise of the cars echoed into the room and made the outdoor pool less pleasant by now. Also unfortunately, our room (No 227) was separated from the room next door by only one door with no soundproofing, and even soft conversation could be heard through it. The shower and hand wash drains did not absorb the water at a sufficient speed, so that, for example, we were standing in 4-5 centimetres of water while showering...

The staff of the hotel are the best. Confortabile beds and sound proof was very good.

When I send back the fish because it was raw, nobody come to apologise or offer any complimentary drinks. When my 4 years son fel down in front of the reception and had an injury that we had to take him to the hospital. The reception didn't even want to call the ambulance, they didn't do anything, sitting behind the desk and looking at us how we were cleaning our son's blood. Didn't even bring an emergency kit, nothing. I had to tell them to call the ambulance. They did had any training for such situations. Again, nobody even bothered to ask how he is or offer to send a taxi for us, nothing. You would expect this things from a 5 stars Hotel, but unfortunately, in my opinion is a overrated 5 stars.

Had a lovely stay at Spirit Hotel, at last! The spa was among the most comprehensive and luxurious one I have ever experienced! Both dinner and breakfast were great, the room I got had a nice balcony. The staff was very helpful and attentive.

It was far from the train station. No tea & coffee making facilities in the room (however, they would quickly deliver a kettle to the room).

Amazing getaway in a perfect hotel!

Perfect hotel in every way! Food during breakfast and dinner is amazing and truly loving up to a 5 star standards. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Spa area is world class.

Rooms are little old fashioned but the hotel already started extensive renovations.

Excellent spa!

Excellent choice and quality of food. Excellent spa and gym facilities. Nice and friendly staff although many did not speak English.

Quite a few staff couldn't speak English. Location - 2.5 hours from Budapest Airport and taxi cost about £200 each way so expensive to get to.

exceptional spa area

We had a lovely stay again at Spirit hotel. Food is great and the variety is exceptional, the spa area with many different pools (we absolutely loved the hot water pool outdoors), saunas, ice chamber, gym, etc. is phenomenal. Our grand room was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. The bathroom was big and well equipped as well—it also had a bidet. Most of the staff is very helpful and kind.

WiFi was sometimes nonexistent – we couldn’t connect to the network, which was a huge deal for us as we had to work while we were there. Some of the staff can be rather unfriendly. The ventilation in our bathroom did not work, so it was very humid after we took a shower.
