For sure to come back!

The hosts were wonderful and very attentive even with the time for taking the breakfast which was far beyond the time limit for doing that. The decoration of the all the house/cottage was inspiring, specially the rooms behind breakfast area.The surroundings were quite calm and we feel within the rural and nature. For sure to come back.

An amazing place to wind down after a huge day travelling and sightseeing. Thoroughly recommended.

This was an amazing place to stay and we wish we'd had more time to stay and explore this area. The room was exceptional and the dinner and breakfast were amazing value. Every detail was meticulously thought out. We were travelling between the Picos de Europa and the Costa de Morte and this place was a perfect stop off.

Apart from the weather which was typical of autumn we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.The road in is quite narrow and daunting but google maps were onto it.

Everything was perfect. The best idea was dinner at the restaurant (hotel) The room was very clean

Superb

Unique place, it felt you are staying in special place definitely. I loved that despite it is a rural house it has an elevator and it has it all! Also you can stay in for dinner cooked by hosts (which are btw very lovely people) in the in-house restaurants.

definitely one of the best hotels I have ever been to, staff is super friendly and helpful, hotel buildings are absolutely stunning, food was excellent and they had painting of Ellie from Last of us on the wall! 😁 nothing to complain about and can only recommend!

We can only recommend this hotel - especially if you are traveling with a pet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very traditional. The building is beautiful and the owners are exceptionally friendly. We were given great advise on what’s best to visit. The breakfast was fantastic - every morning a different traditional sweet bake.

The mattress was a bit hard for my liking.

Nice room, spacious and clean. This hotel has more style and class than other places in this price range. The WiFi worked flawless and both dinner and breakfast were great (best breakfast we had during 2 weeks of travelling in Spain). Parking your bike or car is easy on private ground in front of the hotel. In summer I guess it is lovely sitting outside.

You need to be aware that the location is a bit isolated. We actually liked this (much better than in a city), but it may not be for everybody.

Authentic.

Great rural location. Nice place to go for a walk or a run. Charming old building. Cozy spacious room. Good and plentiful breakfast. Traditional and well prepared dinner. Covered parking for our motorcycles.

Beautiful hotel on the countryside

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was extremely nice, and the whole house has a lot of character. There are nice outside spaces to relax if the weather is good, and they have a nice dog (Tom) and two friendly cats. We had a nice, spacious room with a beautiful view of the countryside. Carballo is just a short drive away and the hotel is quite easy to reach and park at.

While the room was comfortable, we had some trouble with mosquitos, which probably has more to do with the time of the year than anything else.

Highly recommended

Very well received and looked after in this family run hotel. We were given lots of tips for things to do and see locally, all from the perspective of true local Galicians who have strong ties to their region and heritage. Very easy access to lovely fishing ports, beautiful beaches and rocky coastline, and less than an hour to santiago. The hotel is located in a very quiet village so lots of peace and tranquillity.

No complaints. Enjoyed the stay.
