This beautiful and newly built home is situated just two blocks from Sherman Oaks, 5 min by foot to nearest Metro stop, and less than 2 miles from famous Ventura Blvd with all of its shopping and restaurants! LA is a city built for the car so you will never be close to everything and the most important is to not be too far from ANYTHING and that is this home. Universal Studios is only 15 minutes away, Santa Monica 20 min, Malibu 35 min. Many hikes and outdoor activities less than 10 minutes away. This home gives you unparalleled access to all of the major sights in LA including Universal, Beverly Hills, Malibu, Santa Monica.
This is a family friendly one story home with open layout and comfortable seating for all to enjoy. Plenty of seating on couches and chairs to enjoy the large 60" TV loaded with satellite and also streaming apps such as Netflix,etc. The home is outfitted with all the latest modern amenities such as a NEST smart thermostat, top of the line new HVAC system, 80+MB WiFi, and board games to play for further entertainment!
Fully stocked and modern kitchen with a large stainless steel fridge, loaded Keurig coffee machine in addition to a French press, and drop machine, variety of teas and electric kettle for the mornings. Plenty of cooking utensils, spices, and dishware is provided to ensure that you can cook a nice home cooked meal should you choose. Dishwasher, rangetop and oven of course as well. High top dining table.
The spacious Master suite has huge closet, connected bath, and plenty of room for the memory foam roll away beds should you have young ones who want to sleep with you.
Three of four bedrooms have televisions including the BR with Twin beds for the kids, all rooms have blackout curtains for sleeping in, luxurious bedding and top quality mattresses to ensure a good and comfortable nights rest. The house is on the corner of a street with some traffic but you get little noise inside the home courtesy of window placement and dual pane windows throughout.
The outdoor area consists of multiple areas for hanging out with friends and family while BBQ'n in the great California weather! You have the main VERY LARGE outside area on the side with two high end outdoor sofas near the BBQ for socializing while cooking and a large two person hammock for relaxing while the food is being made! Just off the living room you have another smaller patio area which is comfy and surrounded by foliage and you can sit and relax or have a couple drinks.
This home is perfect for families (Pac n' Play is available for guests), groups of friends or business travelers who need some peace and quiet but want to be close to everything and be able to enjoy the great weather of LA.

We used this place for a mini family vacation. It was great for our large family. The commute to universal was 25-30 min with traffic. All the appliances worked great especially the coffee machine which we used a lot. The rooms were a perfect setting for us. Family area/kitchen were very open and inviting. There’s private parking for at least two cars which in California is amazing although it involves a little maneuvering. There’s no direct access to the yard from the inside of the home but that wasn’t an issue for us since we didn’t use the area. No issues with neighborhood, neighbors or community since it is secluded. Overall great house and I would book again.

We stayed in the home for our Christmas break with our family and kids. We had good time and the home was perfect with all amenities listed the most accurate way possible. There were 2 minor issues but Shawn and his team handled it perfectly and followed up with us whether we are satisfied or not. Booked this house for a few nights and we loved it! So welcoming and warm. Felt like it could have been our own. Rooms are spacious. Chairs were super comfortable to relax in at the end of the night and watch some Tv. Pretty much a fully stocked kitchen so we were able to make a few dinners at the house. The beds were great! So comfy! Very convenient having a washer/dryer. Convenient location for our itinerary. Close to stores as well. Would definitely rent again. Shawn is an amazing host.

Overall the property fit our needs which accommodated our group of 10. The location was very convenient to universal studios and the hollywood walk of fame. There are abundance of resturants in the vincinty and a grocery stores. The only thing is you have to pay attention to where you turn because you may miss the house.

4 friends attended a conference at Paramount Studios. This house was in a perfect location for local studios. 4 bedrooms were perfect for the four of us. We had a convenient Target, Ralph’s and Starbucks close by. Our stay was perfect. We found nice restaurants near by for dinners.

Overall, I had a mixed experience with this rental. The house was tucked away behind a hedge and had plenty of parking. It was also big with 4 bedrooms and it was available within a short notice. However, there were a few negative aspects that made my stay less than enjoyable.
First, there were cockroaches! I saw them in the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedrooms. This was very gross and made me feel uncomfortable.
Second, the mattress was very uncomfortable. I'm 30 years old and I have no back problems, but I woke up the next morning unable to move. The mattress was not comfortable at all.
Overall, I don't not recommend this rental home. The positive aspects were outweighed by the negative aspects.

It looks nice in photos but not in person. All tvs are out of date. Quality of beds are ikea brand which is not the greatest. Property houses up to 12 guests but does not have enough seating in the living room for even half that capacity. Only high chair seating for dining option. Found bugs crawling in pantry. Outdoor looks nice but you have to access it by going out the front of the house. Doesn’t make sense why you can’t make noise considering that neighborhood and the complex next door was very noisy after hours. Beds in the 4 bedrooms only sleep 8 and they have air mattresses which is a plus. Tons of mystery boxes in the bedroom closets. Bathrooms are not good either. Shower rod had duct tape helping it stay up and shower curtain/liner didnt look like it has been changed. Velcro residue on the tub that may have been for a shower mat. Overall experience not great. Happy me and my family werent in the property much but upset on how much we paid.

Overall the stay was ok. It is right on the corner of a busy street so the traffic noise in the house is substantial. The beds were very soft so a trip to my chiropractor was needed when I got home. Don’t count on the roll out twin beds unless small kids will be on them. The mattresses are very thin. The tv is satellite so though we tried to watch a football game, weather prevented it. The propane was empty on the grill and while we could have filled it, the inconvenience made it less than ideal. Overall, it worked. It was clean and secure. The communication was timely and the only big things were the soft beds and the traffic noise. Also, the master bedroom frame creaks loudly with the slightest movement. It was nice having laundry on site and having room for three cars was great. It can be hard to get out in the morning with traffic because it is right on the corner.

A group of nine of us stayed at this residence. There was loads of space and everything was clean and functional. The patio area is very large, but we never used it due to rain. Owner is easy to communicate with. I wouldn't call the place (or the neighborhood) "luxurious," but it definitely met our needs.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The house was big & cozy enough for us to all hang out and relax while we waited for the heat to cook outside.
Our last night the neighbors had a very loud party and you could hear it throughout the house, the host once notified did all he could to help and even let us stay a little bit longer after check out to get the proper rest we could before getting on the road again. I would def come back.

Stay went from decent to unpleasant very fast
Shawn was very prompt in his response time and communication so we were looking forward to our stay. When we arrived at the property we noticed there was trash in the front porch. I messaged Shawn to let him know of the fact. Checking in was pretty smooth. When we walked in everything seemed to be clean however my daughter took her shoes off for just a few minutes and the bottom of her feet became black. We noticed that the floors were not sweep and pretty gross. I messaged Shawn regarding this matter and he sent cleaners over within a few hours. The cleaners came at 5:30 pm and asked our family to step outside for them to clean. I wouldn't have mind however it was cold and windy outside so I told them that was not ok for us as they were not very considerate of our situation. We compromised with them just doing a quick sweep of the main hallways and bathrooms. I felt that their cleaning was not adequate as the water was black after one sweep and they didn't change the water and continued mopping with dirty water. After that incident our family finished unpacking and that's when I noticed that there was still hair (long and short) in the bathroom counter and cabinets (in both bathrooms). I didn't message Shawn about this as I just cleaned the counters and cabinets myself to ensure it was clean for my family and I didn't want the cleaners to come back. Later that night I wanted to drink some coffee with my dessert and noticed there was still water in the Keruig machine. When I took the water container out to wash there was an awful smell to it. The water was murky and smelly, not sure how long it stayed in there. I had to wash it a few times and air it out before using it the next morning as my appetite for dessert was gone. The next day when I went to shower as I was pulling the curtain close it felt slimy. When I took a closer look the curtains were pink and moldy. I was so grossed out. Add to the fact that there were two huge beetles in two of the rooms the night before, I wasn't sure that the house was actually cleaned prior to our stay. The morning of checking out I attempted to do laundry so that we don't have as much to do when we got home. Once my load was complete I moved the clothes into the dryer. I also took some of Shawn's towels and started a load for him so that we could throw those in the dryer before we leave for him. However, to my chagrin the dryer was broken. The dryer would heat up however it was not spinning the clothes.

Excellent home and host
This was our first trip to LA and we couldn't be more pleased with Shawn and his property. Communication started as soon as we booked and he was great at facilitating a smooth check-in and followed up with us while there to make sure we were happy.
They house is a convenient location for everywhere we wanted to go while in LA and he even gave us some pointers for additional sight seeing.
For those that like an occasional night cap, there is a very friendly micro-brewery about a half block away that also has some pretty good food.
We couldn't have been more pleased and highly recommend this home for your stay in LA. If we ever make it back out, we'll definitely reach out to Shawn to book again.

Shawn was prompt with his responses to all my questions - wonderful to deal with . The house is spacious and in a great location however in a bit of a noisy street area . Disappointed that we were not made aware beforehand of the strict noise restrictions when using the one patio.

Group Stay for Son's Wedding
This house is exactly as described by Shawn. Well appointed, nicely decorated and upgraded finishes. Having coffee pods, tea bags and a nicely stocked kitchen made it easy to cook and prepare meals. The host deserves a 5 star rating for communication and clear and precise directions and house rules. Our check-in was super easy even after arriving late and in the dark. We were a group of 7 guests and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The outdoor area in the back of the house is beautiful. We didn't get to utilize it much as it was very hot during the day and you cannot make any noise out back after 8 PM due to an apartment complex being behind the property. It would have been lots of fun using the hammock or playing the cornhole game that is back there if we didn't have so many other plans and obligations. The AC in the house is superior! Everyone commented on how strong the air conditioning was. All of the beds in the house were comfortable with the exception of the master bed. I would recommend the mattress be replaced to ensure the ultimate comfort of guests. The house sits on the corner of a busy street with a lot of businesses around it. You do not hear much street noise inside of the house but you do hear it from the front porch and in the mornings in the master bedroom and the front bedroom. It can be pretty noisy but you do get used to it. Overall, it served our group very well as we had events in all parts of LA. We never had to travel more than 30 minutes to anywhere that we needed to go. Overall it was a great property and Shawn was one of the best hosts I have ever dealt with.

My Vrbo stay in California
The night we checked into the property one of the windows was left opened when we arrived. There were dirty socks found in the master bedroom from someone else. The garbage disposalsmelled like a sewage and the house had an awful smell that wouldn't go away. We did not have access to the patio that was shown in the pictures.

Good house for a family gathering.
This was a good, affordable house for a family event. Lots of bedrooms and adequate seating space. Kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils, dishes. Parking for 4 cars, so that was perfect. It's on the corner of a busy street, so it's a bit noisy, but you get used to it after a few nights.
