Brilliant

I know Bolton and the Hotel Is only a stones throw from town centre. Enough bars and pubs for a good evening, but best part was going only moments to a big fat double comfy clean mattress and bed.Exceptionally good breakfast, and wonder working staff.

There's nothing that I didn't like, the staff, the food, the room and the bed get Top brass from my honest opinion, the cleaning lady works double bubble and is lovely, and the bed was a fantastically big fat comfy mattress which major brownie points and is spotlessly clean....the staff, are all very polite and approachable... No complaints at all.... I loved it!!!!

Clean and comfortable room but random people walking around

The room was nice and clean. It felt like it had been done up recently.

There was a random man who came up to our floor and moved the “do not disturb” sign from door to door. We noticed that ours went missing too. This felt very dodgy. When we mentioned this to staff, they said that it was normal. Not what you want to hear.

Comfy base for a short stay.

Lovely check-in with Lucy. Good to have on-site car park. The bed was very comfy and the pillows nice and soft, which is unusual for Holiday Inn! The hotel was very easy to find, just off the main road. The most noticeable feature was how incredibly clean the whole place was.

The cord on the blind was broken so once we had pulled the blind down at night we couldn't raise it again in the morning. The room was nice and warm but the only duvet was quite thick and thus we were way too hot during the night.

Sorry, we won't be staying there again.

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the years. This is the first time we had to pay for parking, so won't be staying there any more. Only one bin had a liner which was more like a mini trampoline, just about stretched across the opening. I had to break it to actually get anything into the bin. No liner in bathroom bin. We had to remove the top to get any shower gel, the plunger was not working, Also, bathroom now too narrow to move around comfortably.

Exceeded expectation, good location and staff were all so good.

Hotel was perfect location for our needs, staff helpful and welcoming, facilities excellent. The only disappointment was our room smelt of smoke when we arrived and was still there in evening. Parking perfect and secure. Would stay again

Esperienza comunque piacevole

Posizione centralissima, perfetta per muoversi a piedi. Ottima colazione a buffet. Camere silenziose e letto molto confortevole.

Purtroppo faceva freddo e anche con il calorifero portatile che ci hanno dato, la situazione non è cambiata. C'erano inoltre tantissimi moscerini in camera

Ok. But won’t book again.

A/C was not working in the room, the room was uncomfortable to sleep the entire night. Telephone also didn’t work. Hashbrowns we’re very overdone at breakfast.

Great, comfortable, friendly stay

Bed was comfortable Staff supportive and very helpful Parking great Although difficult to get to due to road works Carpet could have been cleaner -red stain on carpet near the bed General a good stay as staff very helpful and friendly and convenient to visit family.

Stain on carpet - could have been cleaned a bit better. As you stepped out of bed you stepped on it wondering what the red stain was - looked like red wine.

Nice hotel and I'd stay again despite a couple of minor niggles.

Great location, 5 mins walk from shops and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Parking in garage underneath is decent, but sometimes busy.

Only a couple of minor issues - the basin in our bathroom was almost entirely blocked and took about 5 minutes to drain. I reported this and it was swiftly fixed. On our first morning there, they had no hot food 'due to unforeseen circumstances'. Not a huge deal, but I had been encourage to prepay for breakfast the night before, and paid £12 per person for choice of continental or cooked. But continental breakfast only is actually £10, so my prepayment was actually a bad deal on that day! The cooked breakfast the following day, however, was delicious.
