Despiertos a las 11 de la noche

La ubicación

El mal estado de todo el edificio. Además sonó dos veces en una misma noche la alarma de incendios despertándonos. Dicen que era porque alguien se ducho con la puerta abierta y la activó.

Great value for money

Great value for money, accessible public transport routes, exceptional bathroom and beds and friendly staff.

The room we stayed in was pretty light on plug sockets and the ones we did have were in slightly awkward spots. Other than that our stay was brilliant.

Just shabby.

Looked alright from outside. Friendly staff from the one person we Saw.

Mouldy ceilings in bathroom and general room. Shower temperature not changeable.

Decent place, good location

The place is basic but fine, room was clean and warm, shower was hot and there was shampoo, check in was easy, front desk 24 hours, location good within walking distance of Angel - lots of good cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby.

Possibly a bit pricey for what it is, but I was booking London Saturday night at short notice.

A cozy little place of your own

I enjoy very much the cosy and homely atmosphere that you get from these older houses. It's in a good place, not snack dab in the hustle and bustle but not too far away from shopping, food, and entertainment, such as the amazing Garage club. I would stay here to get a taste of real London, away from tourists and manufactured image.

My main grief with hotels is usually water pressure but this time the pressure was fine though the water was a bit too hot. Maybe it's a matter of tweaking but I didn't bother this time as I was only staying the one night.

Nice area, hotel good for the price

Very clean room. Loved the area. Quiet. Easy to get around(bus stop very close). Loved the bathtub

Very run down building. Elavator more for cargo than people. My bed had a big dent/hollow.

Great for people travelling alone who won’t be spending too much time in the hotel

Great location, very close to lots of different things and the en-suite bathroom was surprisingly nice. The design was modern and the shower worked well. The tap water had a nice clean taste which is not always guaranteed. The radiator changed temperature very quickly after you switched it, which is helpful if you want to dry your towels but also not keep the room too warm. The bed was comfortable and even though the room was small, that gave it a somewhat cozy feel. I didn’t spend too much time in the room as I was out a lot, so it was fine for me. Great for people travelling alone who won’t be spending too much time in the hotel.

Quite a few stains on the carpet, and despite my positive opinion on the bathroom, the bath towel was too small. I found the window difficult to open and the view wasn’t especially great despite the great location. I think I could’ve done with an extra pillow as well
