Great place to stay in Masterton

The room was very comfortable for us both. I thought it was pretty cool how each room is identified by famous racehorses. Quite a nice place. Rupi offered us a ride in to town if we needed. He also assisted us to get our car started after a flat battery! He was very polite and helpful. We will be staying here again when we're back in town

A comfortable motel handy to shops and value for money.A motel to return to!

We were upgraded to a suite with 2 king beds.A spacious clean room with a comfortable couch ,extra chair and a good size coffee table.A comfortable bed but fat pillows.The heat pump worked well.Good size TV with freeview channels and good reception.basic facitlities in kitchenette with a good size microwave.Plenty of electric points in room.Spacious clean bathroom with adequate supplies and good water pressure both hot and cold.Plenty of parking.Lovely friendly staff.

There was no table or chairs either inside room or outside as stipulated on our information page which made dinning on the coffee table while seated on couch not ideal.The TV controls kept jumping channels and there was no prime channel.No extra recepticles for using in microwave to cook or heat appart from plates.No other form of cooking available.There is no bread board or can opener.The pillows are mostly too fat.

Great place to stay, very clean and spacious, comfortable, staff is awesome.

Bar and grill but nothing on offer or you must book ahead of time for food, I would’ve gave it a 10 if the bar and grill was available. So you must drive up to 10min to 30min for food and coffee etc.Great place though, if they offered restaurant food would be a 10

in the end it was OK - clean and convenient - but the checking in and service were very poorly done.

it was close to where we wanted to be later in the evening

Firstly they did not have the first day cancellation - as confirmed by Booking.com - and rang me at home then grumbled when we checked in (the actually had the old 2 day booking PLUS the changed 1 day booking. They then talked amongst themselves in a language I did not understand and did not communicate with us at all. They only had one key which was a problem as my wife, and I had different timings - and a swipe key was required after 5:00 pm. they did not seem to understand what service looked like - plus the bar and restaurant were closed yet still advertised as being available.

Very relaxing. Friendly staff. On of the better motels I have stayed at.

Room was very clean. All amenities appeared to work. Bed was very comfortable.

Owing to a lot of cancellations the motel bar was not open.

It was good...but it would have been better if the place wasn't half closed!

The room was comfy and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The bar and restaurant were closed and the furniture in the public areas was covered in shrouds. A bit eerie!

lovely people, the new girl of the front desk was lovely.

the room was large and comfortable although I couldn’t open the wardrobe doors as they were hanging slightly off and I couldn’t move the doors.

the restaurant and bar were closed which was annoying - COVID excuses can’t be used endlessly although I understand travellers are only recently moving around. small kitchenette ok but don’t like op shop crappy plates and a few utensils not in the drawers. wifi was crappy mist of the time
