Perfect stay, beautiful, clean apartment in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay at Apartment Sole. Ana met us when we arrived to show us the apartment. The apartment is exactly like the photos, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, spotlessly clean, the bed was so comfy and the outside area was great to relax in during the evening. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the lovely local beach and not much more to the main town so the location is ideal. Can’t recommend this apartment enough!

No internet, and no way to reach the owner/host by phone

The room was very clean and comfortable. We stayed when the temperature outside was still cold and the room had a good heating system.

When we booked this apartment, the booking.com site said it would come with WiFi connection, but there was no WiFi/internet for our entire stay of 4 days in the apartment, which gave us a huge inconvenience. The host/owner never informed us of no internet situation, even though she had known that in advance of our arrival. We found out about it only after we paid full amount in cash to her employee, upon our arrival. We tried to reach the owner by calling her number at least 10 times and also wrote her a number of times to get her help and guidance but the line was never picked up and no guidance/explanations were given by the owner. In the late evening of the first day, her employee came and paid back 16euros for no wifi for 4 days and we were also informed that we should leave her property if we did not agree with the price. As we did not have internet, it was difficult for us to find another accommodation in the late evening and we were so tired and disappointed and no energy left for another accommodation hunt - so we stayed. The owner’s daughter kindly called from Italy and told us that the owner was not so good in English and gave us an apology, but the owner herself continued not to take our calls from us till the last day of our stay, and one word of “apologies” came from her by e-mail only after we got on the return boat to Split on the last day. The owner did not seem to understand the implications of not having the internet at the accommodation for the international travelers these days, and we regret we booked this apartment by trusting the booking.com site’s information which said there would be WiFi.

Komiza is a wonderful little town with adorable people and just a few tourists.

The studio was very cozy, clean and well located in a quiet street, just a 5 minutes walk from the town center. Ivan, Ana's husband, welcomed us warmly as we arrived quite late with the ferry and saved us a parking spot in the little street. Komiza is a little town and the people were just adorable. You might think it's a big family. There are two nice beaches just a few minutes from the studio. You can do different boat trips from the island. The food is great and we had a wonderful few days on the island.

Perfect new studio, a few minutes' walk from the center. Fully equipped for a long stay. Everything is clean and modernly equipped. I will definitely come back again. The hostess is excellent and ready to help with all information.

We loved it! everything was super, the owner is very friendly and welcoming, the apartment is beautiful and the forniture is brand new. Worth every euro, 10+/10! ps. Komiža is perfect! pure mediterranean place

More a room than an apartment in Komiza

Good location and clean room.

- the host does not speak English - the lack of intimacy (the apartment is actually a room upstairs the house of the owner and separated from the other rented room with a sliding (but hopefully locking) door) - the lack of tact of the owner (we were surprised that he host kept our passports until we withdrew money to pay our room since only cash was accepted).
