Fantastic last minute stay

The staff were super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. There was plenty of pay and display parking and very close to the town centre and the hotel had some limited free parking. Breakfast was good and the hotel was very well maintained and very clean.

Lovely hotel clean friendly staff beautiful breakfast would recommend.

Great. Location near to town centre. Beautiful hotel lovely and clean , staff very helpful enjoyed our stay.

Bed was comfortable but pillows need to be changed for a better quality very uncomfortable.

Couldn't fault the hotel itself. The staff were amazing. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious 🙂👍

Unfortunately we stayed on a Saturday night, and only managed to sleep about 4 hours due to the endless drunk people making a horrendous noise passing the hotel. A particular male was at least a couple of hours harrassing everyone trying to fight and punched a sign outside, between shouting and screaming at anyone that went past. It was a real shame because the hotel is amazing. I do think the town has a number of rough locals that spoil it.

Enjoyed the stay, the price could be better value around the £75 mark rather than £100.

Staff really pleasant and helpful, couldn't ask for a better welcome.

The insulation between rooms could be improved. When occupants in the room above moved it was clearly heard due to creaking floorboards.

Good central town accommodation

Very friendly staff. Very clean and well turned out accommodation and surroundings. Right in the centre of Camarthen.

There was quite a lot of noise from the street in the early hours of Sunday morning but it was the queen's jubilee weekend.

handy location but not a comfortable night

the staff where friendly and the location was ideal, with pay and display parking for a large van

My room was very hot and stuffy with no airflow, the window looked onto a brick wall and barley opened, the duvet was a very heavy winter duvet and it was 30 degrees that day. there was a lot of noise and I was constantly woken all night ! barley slept at all ! the rooms and doors where very close together so it sounded like people where trying to get into my room all night. I was woken by every other guest trying to work the terrible old fashioned locks to get into there rooms for 2 or 3 mins each time. the restaurant was nice and the food looked good but there was very little for vegetarians and nothing at all for Vegans. unfortunately I do not recommend this hotel and definitely won’t be going back.

A warm, friendly and comfortable hotel. The best 3 star hotel I’ve ever stayed in

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room, though compact was comfortable and clean. The breakfast, cooked to order, was delicious and the best I’ve tasted in Wales.

I was only staying for one night at a time, had it been longer I would have moved to another hotel.

The breakfast was hot and served without delay. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The last time I stayed in the hotel I reported that the shower was not working in room 19, when I was allocated the same room this time, I mentioned the shower not working previously and was assured that it was operating perfectly, only when I came to use it in the morning it was not working. In rooms I have stayed in 14, 19 and 22 the light is very poor to non-existent by the mirror in the bathroom and makes shaving difficult. The radiators/electric convector heaters are extremely rusty and gives the impression of dirty damp rooms, really inefficient
