気づかいが行き渡った宿

旧市街の入り口から近く、わかりやすい場所にあり、周囲には各種店舗が充実しています。部屋は広々としていて、必要なものは揃っています（ドライヤーは備え付けではありませんが、スタッフに言えば貸してもらえます）。洗濯機はないので、洗濯したい場合はランドリーサービスを頼むか、自分で近くにあるクリーニング屋さんに行って洗濯をお願いするかのどちらかです（いずれも翌日に仕上がります）。朝食を中庭でゆったり食べることができるのがよかったです。スタッフの方々はみなさんフレンドリーかつ親切で、タクシーの手配やハマムの予約など迅速かつ正確に対応してくださいました。トイレの水が流れなくなるというトラブルがありましたが、スタッフがすぐに対応して修理してくれました。

時間帯によって（？）お湯が出にくくなるときがありました。

Véritable Riad dans la médina

Nous avons apprécié la situation du riad parfaite pour visiter le coeur de la ville à pieds, le calme une fois passée la porte et la beauté du jardin, la gentillesse du personnel, les conseils de Ali et son aide pour nos visites

Le bruit de la rue dans les chambres, peut-être des vitres en double vitrage ? L'eau chaude plus régulièrement Et des marches moins hautes mais cela ne peut être amélioré c'est la belle bâtisse qui est ainsi faite!

Two April days with friends in Fes

The decorations, the old world feel, friendly and active staff, proximity to the main road and Medina , lot of space in the rooms to sit and chill out with friends

There was very little hot water in the bathroom on the first day, proper water supply was restored by staff when they were told on the next day

Un havre de paix superbe

Superbe riad très bien situé au calme à l.entrée de la médina. La direction et tout le personnel sont attentionnés et aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. La chambre est confortable et le petit déjeuner dans le patio est parfait. Mention spéciale au gérant qui nous a consacré sa matinée à nous trouver des solutions à un petit problème médicale en pleine fête de l’Aïd. Un grand merci à tous et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Très bon Riad que nous recommandons.

L’accueil est excellent. Très bonne relation avec l’ensemble du personnel qui est toujours à l’écoute pour répondre aux attentes. Ali, le responsable est très sympa et de très bons conseils. Le jardin est magnifique. Nous avons pris Abdoul le chauffeur pour nos différentes excursions. Nous le recommandons.

The Riyad is close to the medina.

Everything else is very bad managed ... rooms are almost cages ... very small ... you can barely feet with your luggage ... pool stinky with stagnant water almost smelly. The breakfast is very poor and could not satisfy even a small child. The parking is very far from the gate of the riyad, and people outside are asking you charity whenever you go out of the riyad. We asked a diner me and my wife. A very simple dinner, and it was charged like if we took it in the best 5 stars hotel. My real opinion about these riyads is that they aim take the maximum of your pocket for the minimum provided... Unfortunately.

The location is very good. Medina is at footstep . The accomodation was very quiet.

Talking with Ali the senior manager was interesting . He is the architect restored the accomodation property. Showed us the different rooms. He studied in France and traveled many countries including Australia etc as a back packer.

The Swimming pool could be cleaned before guests arrived. Having fruits & better baguette would be nicer for breakfast.

Lovely riad in a perfect location.

Nesrly everything. Very attractive riad, very comfortable and very well run. Lovely breakfast as well.

Noise from outside of riad in our room with windows in outside walls. Water temperature could have been a little hotter as well.

Highly recommended

The place itself is very grand and has been decorated equally well. The courtyard is very ornate and gives the feel of a secret garden. The rooms are very spacious and well presented. We absolutely loved the hospitality of the host, he was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home.

There was almost nothing to dislike about the place, very value for money.

Very good location, great common areas

Patio with fountain, with plants, birds, sofas and pool, simply amazing Great ambience in common spaces Lovely staff, good recommendations and always with a smile

Bathroom amenities need significant improvement, generic soap, no quality shampoo, no conditioner no shower gel offered. For the price we paid, they could do much, much better including body lotion, cotton swaps, and some nice fragrances could be included.

Mr. Ali and all his staff are very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast was very good (traditional Moroccan) served in traditional earthenware, to the table. Riad is very spacious, tranquil with beautiful gardens. Location is excellent, very close to the Medina and all the historic landmarks. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely book this again. We recommend Riad Jaouhara if you're planning a visit to Fez, you'll really enjoy it like we did! Thank you

Stay here - you will be glad you did.

This riad was spectacular - interesting and authentic decor and exceptional staff. There seem to be a few riads in Fes that deserve the accolades they receive, and this riad belongs in that group. It was clean, comfortable and enjoyable to be here. As to the staff, everyone was exemplary. I had the most interaction with Ali and Souka, who were just so helpful and friendly - so a specific shout-out to them, but that doesn't mean everyone wasn't exceptional (they were). I would highly recommend this riad - in addition to the staff, it has a great location and, in my view, is a great value for the experience.

Exceptional

The courtyard was gorgeous and completely made our stay. Our room had little lights in the ceiling that made us feel as though we were sleeping under colorful little stars! And the staff was incredibly kind and helpful - they even gave us a free beer on our last night!

Walking up 4 flights of stairs to get to our room, especially in the dark. Not sure if there was an elevator

Paradise in the medina

Location, room, garden and terrace are beautiful. Staff is very kind and helpful. Walked us to the taxi in the morning, always ready to help through the stay. Ask them for anything (taxi,food,tours) and they will accomodate every request.

Our safe and relaxing place into the Medina

This Riad has the most amazingly kind and helpful staff: They were there for us at every time of the day and they made us feel safe and spoiled. The location was also perfect: close to the blue gate, close to the two main streets of the Medina, but still (nearly) reachable by taxi. We definitely recommend this Riad!

Maybe a better heating system would made the Riad more comfortable during cold days, but that can be very subjective.

Perfect, peaceful Riad in amazing location

Riad is in a perfect location, a stone's throw from the blue gate at the top of the Medina. Staff were so friendly, they welcomed us like family and were so helpful. The courtyard was a peaceful oasis, the room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay, nice staff for personal touch.

Beautiful garden in the Riad. The room was very spacious, high ceiling, airy and bright, but it could also be close to making it really dark for well sleep.

We got the room on the highest floor because I wanted a nice view. When we thought of the stairs, we were lazy to go down and hang out in the garden. So it's my own choice, cannot blame the riad.

The Riad is beatiful and situated Just within the medina. Eventhough you are in the middle of the buzz, it is quite a wonderful peaceful place to stay with good beds and a nice pool. The staff is very helpful and very nice, they can and will help you with everything.

Riad Jaouhara helped to make our trip to Fes memorable

This is for sure one of the best riads available in Fes. The location close to the Blue Gate and the old medina is perfect. The breakfast is served in the quiet and beautiful inner garden and includes some marroco items. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Ali could not do more to make us feel more comfortable. The room and bathroom were lovely and very clean. This is certainly a place to stay when visiting Fes.

Unfortunately the terrace is not available for taking meals or a for a drink looking at the sunset over Fes. This is a pity as it has a superb view.
