Highly recommended!

property is located 10 minutes walking from Fira city center, where is buses going to every spot in Santorini. The room was really clean, comfortable, cosy and lovely. also, property has a large terrace with table and chairs. Host was friendly and helpful.

Excelente ubicación, atención, limpieza y precio

Los propietarios son muy atentos, simpáticos y están a disposición en todo momento incluso se tomó el tiempo de explicarnos como movernos en bus para llegar a todos lados, además de hacer algunas recomendaciones. La habitación muy amplia y limpia. Excelente ubicación, a 10 minutos caminando del centro de fira y de la terminal de buses de la cuál se puede llegar a los principales puntos de la isla, es ideal si te vas a mover en transporte público. El aire acondicionado funciona bien, hay tender para la ropa, heladera, hervidor de agua y algo de vajilla. En mi opinión está mejor que en las fotos. Super recomendado.

El wifi me funcionó bien solo un rato uno de los 3 días que estuvimos, anduvo muy entre cortado, quiza se complica cuando todos volvemos al mismo horario de pasear. Imagino que debe ser un problema del proveedor del servicio porque el rato que anduvo bien funciono excelente y muy rápido por lo que el hotel no creo que tenga la culpa si bien debería búscarle solución. Por otro lado, la cortina de la ducha quedaba un poco corta y se salpicaba afuera cada vez que me bañaba, nada grave y se puede solucionar fácilmente si la bajan un poco. El resto excelente todo, es un 10! Ideal para estar cómodo, bien ubicado y a buen precio en santorini que ya de por si es caro!

Excellent stay in Fira

Cute, amazing cave room that was well insulated at night and kept cool during the day. It was very comfortable and the owners Irene and her husband were such a joy to speak to while hanging out at the cottage. Bed was comfortable and I always felt taken care of while here.

Pretty accommodation with reasonable price and Irene was very helpful!

Maybe this was only our room but the smell of sewage in the toilet was strong and it smelled quite strongly and…perhaps in an attempt to hide it, they sprayed a very strong-smelling cologne which we don’t like in the room. We wanted to change room but this is the only room with a twin bed, and the other double bed room which open is even smaller so we decided to stay but had to open the window for an hour to get rid of the smell. It was very tough for us.

The stay at Zaharoula was amazing... The lady there so helpful with everything, how to go to places, what to see, check the prices before you enter at a restaurant, she gave us very good tips for Santorini.. She also managed for me and my husband a boat trip to the volcano which was amazing... A must do!! Also the room was very comfortable and I was feeling like home.

Everything was perfect!

We went to Pension Zaharoula last week. Everything was perfect, we had a great time. Irene and her husband are very nice, they helped us to rent a car and book the transfer to/from the airport; the room always sorted out and clean. If we come back to Santorini we'll book again a room in Pansion Zaharoula. Nadia and Davide

Great place!

The receptionist and her husband were fantastic! The room was very spacious and the walk to town and the central bus station of the island was very manageable. I would definitely stay here again!

Our room was right next to the road and you'd hear cars late into the night as they cross over a speedbump.

The property was very clean and its a 5-10minute walk to the city centre. It can be a bit noisy at night because of the cars that pass by but it really didn’t bother us. If you rent a quad bike, you can park it anywhere outside the place. And the best bonus of all, Irene allowed us to check in early around 12pm because someone checked out in the morning which was very helpful for us. And, she showed us the best places to go to in Santorini. She will help you book a boat tour if you want and she’s very accommodating and very helpful. Literally the best helpful host. You will never ever regret booking this place.

Great Host!

Our Host was Amazing and very helpful. Helped us with all of our questions about the area, organized our ride to and from the port, and had a motor scooter delivered to the hotel for us to use.

A very nice room with a great shower and very comfortable bed. A nice garden with seats to relax as well. Less then 15 minutes walk away from the bus Station. As a family business the staff is very helpful and speaks good English.

It's like the ad! Very clean, spacious room, comfortable bathroom! Kind service.

From the airport, a taxi took 8-10 minutes. Easy to approach. Nearby there is a supermarket, motor rental. The center of Fira is a 5-7 minute walk away. The yard is beautiful and clean. She is very kindly arranged. Our room also had outdoor furniture. The accommodation is suitable for children due to the large room and the courtyard. Irene is very kind, she smiles a lot! He was waiting for us at the gate. She was kind and polite every time. He helped get airport taxis. Helped book a volcano tour. He printed the tickets and put them on our bed :)

Simply Amazing

One of the most incredible holidays I have been, it’s outstanding! I went with my friend Julie and we met Irene (owner of Pansion Zaharoula) she is perfect and nicest! She helped us with recommendations, where to go and taught us everything! Never get tired of answering any of our queries, She is brilliant! Her place/her house is simply amazing & beautiful, you will definitely feel at home, comfortable and wouldn’t want to go out as she has a terrace and from there you will see the sun-set/sun-rise & the sea, so cool to hang out! Also, very good location, clean and very homely! I would recommend this wonderful gem of accommodation. You will not be disappointed! thanks Irene for making our stay perfect 💙🤍‬

Great stay!

The room is spacious and clean. There was no noise even though the pansion is located on a busy street. It takes around 10-15 min on foot to get to the center of Fira. The hosts were very friendly and helpful - especially Irene, who was so kind and there for any questions, organized transfer, gave some great tips and recommendations.

When going to Fira you have to walk a bit next to the road with busy traffic. It would be amazing if there was a breakfast option available, but apart from this everything was great.

REAL PHILOXENIA: in many ways, better than the glitzy caldera-facing hotels.

It's a pansion. Don't expecta a jacuzzi. But... you will instead find: incredibly kind hosts. Very clean premises. Nice sitting area outside in courtyard. View of the sea to the east, spacious room with everything you may need to prepare your own breakfast... This must surely be, in spite of not being a luxury hotel, one of the most pleasant places to stay in Santorini. Congratulations to the owners for a well done job. It shows that they do it with a love for detail.

Shame it is in front of a busy road. However, traffic noise does not disturb at night, in my opinion. Beds a tad too hard. Everything else is perfect.
