Nice studio but needs curtains

Good location and clean. Good communication beforehand.

There are windows in the room (up high) which do not have a curtain or blind across them - that meant the room was bright as soon as the sun came up which was super disappointing when you go away and want to have a sleep-in. We were also only provided 1, already started, toilet roll for a two night stay for two people. That felt pretty cheap in terms of value for money when you’re paying these type of prices.

Excellent location with a touch of luxury

Easy walking distance to Cable Bay Winery and Oneroa town, lovely sea view from accommodation, really comfortable and clean with a touch of luxury

Top quality unit and first-class hosts - very highly recommended.

Excellent hosts who went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly. The unit was very well appointed, very comfortable, great views, quiet, and was a very easy stroll from the main town, restaurants and bars. We had a very enjoyable stay and didn't want for anything. We will be using Church Bay Escape again!

The location was ok.

The property had no hot water, the lights were broken. Cobwebs weren’t cleaned up it felt dirty!

Very quiet. Comfy beds.

Nothing. Maybe a coffee machine or plunger for morning coffee on the balcony. But just a short walk to great cafes.

Good

Quiet place to relax and really close to popular vineyard. Small but clean and cozy mood. Big mirror and air condition Very good wifi!!

We went herr during summer and rain day so many mosquitoes. Water should me management.

Amazing stay. Very very cute and amazing place. Would 100% stay again next time. Close to wineries

The tree on balcony could be cut down would give a much better view

Idyllic, just what we needed.

Great location, super easy to get into town and to the ferry. Awesome view and very comfy bed.

No real issues at all. Could have done with more glasses, the only glasses were two champagne flutes, not ideal for drinking fabulous Waiheke reds out of, but it's a minor quibble.

Really lovely place, great location, would stay again in a heartbeat.

Location was excellent and room was decorated beautifully and was comfortably appointed. Fabulous view! Very easy to access, host provided great instructions and local information that was very helpful

We ran out of milk after the first morning. Room was not serviced, would have been nice for that to have been checked/replaced, though, for the price point.

we had a lovely stay and the room was very comfortable

clean tidy and comfortable . great views off the deck. great location. facilities were nice and lovely quiet location. owner was very friendly

small detail but we were there for 5 nights and only one towel each for the stay

Quiet, relaxing spot for a weekend escape

Great spot for a long weekend! Well equipped, fresh anc clean. Lovely balcony view for a wine

Great location and view from deck, very modern and clean, easy check in and out, all instructions were given before check in.

Door is broken so had to use sliding door (couldn’t lock) instead of main door, only one toilet roll was there and the milk in fridge expired in April.

The apartment was freezing and felt damp when we arrived it would have been nice to have the heated floors turned on for arrival. We couldn’t get the heat pump to work, the host did drop us off a heater. I felt that the apartment was very overpriced.

Location and modern furnishings

I think the sliding doors need the frosting glass removed. Because the evenings were cooler we couldn’t sit outside but inside with doors closed there was no view because of frosted doors...my only comment because everything else was perfect thanyou

Not worth the money

Good location.

Very average, definitely not worth the money! Door didn’t work properly, one wine glass in the place , no dishwasher, no coffee machine,bathroom average with a ridiculous mirror, road noise. I know all sounds a bit petty but when you are paying this price, I expected a lot more. Would not stay here again.

Location was very good for the short stay we had. Great views from the room.

Water pump was a little noisy from next door room but I don't think there is much that can be done to fix that.
