Perfect for girls weekend.

This place was perfect for our girls getaway! Great location, great communication, excellent home with plenty of room for the 10 of us! The home was just as advertised. Clean, close to everything and a perfect place to stay on Balboa Usland!

Greg was a very kind host

As advertised Great location convenient to the main commercial street on Balboa. Walking distance to market and restaurants. Gregory was more than accommodating, responsive and helpful. We could not find the blender and notified Gregory and he delivered a new blender the same day. Welcoming basket from him was a real treat and very much appreciated. Extra refrigerator in the garage is very helpful with six guests. Would rent again for next August, but it was already taken. Some minor wears and tears in flooring and walls not abnormal for a rental property. Garage can hold one large car, possibly two small due to challenge of navigating in due to dumpsters in alley behind garage. Additional parking on Little Island was very convenient. All in all, a good choice for the price.

This place was perfect for our stay! We stayed the weekend and this house was the perfect location with cute shopping and food around the corner. the house itself was just what we needed with plenty of space and just enough sleeping areas for 10 people. Would stay again!

It was like Christmas morning for my family when we walked into the rental! The rental was so clean, inviting, bright and airy. There were kayaks, board games, sand toys, everything we needed for the beach was also easily accessible (chairs, towels, etc..) Two parking spots in the garage that we were so grateful for. Many extras were not unnoticed here-the extra towels everywhere, the fancy toilets, the rooftop, the bbq grill, so much storage and the home is nice and big! We had the time of our lives! My favorite part is the location, just steps away from the main road on Balboa where there is everything you could possibly want and need-restaurants, shopping, activities…there is a mini beach out front and your own private dock! Wonderful wonderful stay! Thank you soooo much for hosting us!

Greg was an awesome host! He was extremely communicative and always available to answer my questions from the moment I booked the rental to the actual days of the rental and during. The home itself is beautiful and in such a fun location. The roof top was our favorite! The home is right behind the little market which made last minute grocery purchases a breeze. Not to mention how walkable it was to everything else on the main road. I’d highly recommend Greg’s property for your next Newport trip! You won’t regret it!

Place was clean and owner was great to work with

This was a girls trip to play pickleball in Newport Beach. The host was always prompt in communications. The property was better than advertised. Outdoor and indoor spaces were thoughtful decorated with plenty of space for 5 of us to share. My only complaint was I didn’t tag on a couple of more days to the trip to enjoy all this property had to offer.

My family had a great stay in this property. The owner was very responsive and helpful.

Our family had a wonderful reunion on the island. It is absolutely magical during the holidays. We had originally booked the wrong date and the owner was so kind to adjust his schedule to accommodate the dates we needed. The house is conveniently located to all restaurants and stores as well as easy on and off the island.

Great property. As advertised. Perfect location on Balboa Island. Tons of toys on hand for kids and adults. Host was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Very clean and nicely furnished (very well stocked kitchen) house. We (11 adults) stayed only for one night. location is very nice. walkable to restaurants and shopping and also nice walk around the island. There is a parking garage for 2 cars, but we were only able to park one car comfortably. It was easy to find parking for other cars in my group outside without any issues.

Great House for relaxing and great walking paths.

Thanks for a wonderful vacation. The location was fantastic, we never moved our car and enjoyed walking through town, taking the ferry and enjoying the accommodations of the rental. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and they had beach equipment at the property for us to use. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay in Greg’s home. We enjoyed using the kayaks and fishing on the dock in the front. The house was located close to the main shopping area on the island and the market. The house itself was spacious, inviting, and had upgraded technology. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is such a BEAUTIFUL home!! The pictures are very accurate of what it looks like, but even better in person! It’s also in the cutest part of town. We truly enjoyed our stay here and the owners of the property were so friendly. I would definitely come again.

From the beginning Greg was great to work with. He is very responsive and it is evident that he goes the extra mile to insure his renters have a great stay. If you are new to the Island, you should know that it is a very busy tourist area, especially around the holidays. But that is also what makes it fun! Getting on and off the island can be dicey at times, but it is worth it. The location of the home is fantastic. The house sits right behind the main street (shares an alley) which means you can walk everywhere, which is nice because parking can get difficult. The market is across the ally and has everything you need including a great café where you can get food to go if you don't want to cook. Of course there are also restaurants along the street as well to sit down or take out.The home comes with two bikes (great to ride over to the ferry launch) and two kayaks. There is also a small dock and water front in front of the home. It take two adults to get the kayaks down and into the water but after that our 12 year old boys had no problem paddling around on their own.The house itself is quite roomy. Keep in mind that this is a weekly water front rental so it does get a fair amount of wear and tear. But the owner really does a good job of maintaining it. The kitchen was well stocked and has new appliances. There are ample linens and towels including some beach towels. Bring your own shampoo and soap, those were scarce.If I am forced to write a negative it would be that the main floor bedroom has a King bed which is a bit too big for the room. It is hard to navigate the closet. Also, the upstairs master is lacking sufficient closet space due to the lock off owner closet. Neither is a huge deal, just maybe something to be aware of.We are excited to stay again the next time we are in Newport. The location and fun house are tough to beat!

The house was perfect for my family. Amazing location. Third time spending Thanksgiving in California, definitely the best yet. Thanks to Greg, great host.
