If travelling for work, its a cheap option, if you don't mind a bit of noise.

Location was fine, staff were friendly enough, food was standard pub food

There was no hot water for the showers. Maybe got about 30seconds to a minute of lukewarm water before going cold. It's an old historic building which is great, however this means the noise travels through the accomodation area. We had someone next to us who had his TV on loud all night, and in the morning a group of men were using the kitchen who were not at all considerate to the fact that there were other guests. This is no the fault of the hotel staff or anything, just what you get with thin walls of old buildings.

The staff was very hospitable and very kind to our situation that we were staying at the hotel for the patrons of the pub was very kind compassion and lovely people to me in McLean thank you for a lovely stay

Really happy late find for the night, made us welcome, and a late meal, much apreciated.

The mattress wasnt real comfortable, but we were happy to get a room at the late hour .

It was a bit rich asking $95 for this accommodation.I would have stayed there for $70.

Location was good.Bed comfortable.Bathroom new and sparkling,but no hot water for a shower.

Hot water for a shower.Dirty dishes left in kitchen sink.I didn’t know if coffee or tea was there for me or if belonging to other patrons.So called kitchen facilities were not good.

I always love the old buildings, the architecture the cornices the timber work. this one did not disappoint. Yes sometimes there can be dinky little walls in random places, but the bathroom upgrade was nice, our room was comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally helpful 😁

shared kitchen area was a bit messy left by what looked like long term residents of the hotel but we didn’t really use that space so it wasn’t an issue. I’m nit-picking really

Nice cheap and clean country pub. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Traditional country pub rooms. Nice and clean, with freshly renovated shared bathrooms. No air conditioning, but the room got a nice breeze and the ceiling fan was more than sufficient.

Room was a little musty, but the breeze through the window helped solve that. Only a single power point in the room was a bit of a surprise in 2022, but hardly the end of the world.

We really enjoyed our stay, can't complain about anything.

Due to Covid, there was no breakfast. Coffee & Tea facilities were available. The location was excellent, right on the river and the main street. Close to everything.
