The location was great, the facilities were well appointed. Ease of access to the parade and beach facilities were great for the family. The outdoor area was well thought out with blinds for year round usability.
The facility change of management left us in limbo. the wifi is spotty and inconsistent which fed into technology proving difficult to use. Lack of disabled access proved challenging.

Wifi rarely worked, tv didn’t work, had to get it fixed the second day, mobile service almost non existent.

The staff were so lovely and really helpful where I checked in obtained keys and even more helpful when I advised I was not able to stay in the apartment for the duration. The location and view was so good. The apartment was spacious and really nice - great layout. Despite my experience, I would look to stay again but I know to ask about the deficiencies I experienced this time, for next time.
A microwave - after travelling, I had some handy little pre-packed dinners but microwave only and there wasn't' one.
No mobile reception with Optus - not sure about Telstra but this would have been helpful to know as the wifi did not work and I could not hotspot to my phone - wifi was important as I was travelling for work.
The biggest issue was No effective heating. I didn't realise until the evening when it began to cool and I went looking for the aircon. A very small oil heater that wasn't enough to take the chill out of the air in the bedroom and the other little fan heater had corroded plugs and hadn't been tested and tagged since 2021. The rest of the apartment was too cold - being asthmatic this was problematic and was the reason I decided to vacate at around 7:15pm that evening and drive an Hour and 40min back home and get up at 4am and return to the area for work. Installation of reverse cycle air conditioners throughout or ducted aircon would be a huge improvement.

The Tv didn't work and had no remote.
Dining chair legs are all loose very wobbly.
No screens on doors, hazard spot we're left leaning on glass frame.
Some lights never came on in the main entryway.
Oven never got cleaned, so when we used it, there was a bad burning smell.
Fridge shelving was broken, so I couldn't put anything heavy on it.

The place looked like it had no maintainence done in months.

This is our second time in this resort and the location is fantastic, peaceful with a wonderful view of the creek and just a short walk into Kingscliff to the beach, playground, cafes etc.
Really appreciated staff of Kingscliff Accommodation (Cleaning and Office), who located and returned to us my child's bunny teddy, which he left behind in the sheets, when we packed up and went home. You made a little boy so happy, thank you!
The pool is a bit cold, but didn't bother us too much with the creek to swim in.

No remote for the main television, no iron and the second bathroom it looked like they hadn’t finished cleaning the bathroom.

The location was handy
The ensuite toilet wasn't clean, people had been resting on top of the beds and a chocolate wrapper was on the floor. Also there was no key to the front security door. As a result, we didn't stay the extra night. A very expensive stay for something that wasn't worth it!

The location was perfect & so family friendly, the apartment was unit 12 on the first floor and had the most beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment was well equipped with utilities & everyday living items. The location was just the best & my family had a blast. Waking up to the view was well worth it..
The apartment was surface clean but the dust was overwhelming. My daughter has Asthma & allergies, particularly with dust mites and she actually ended up in hospital back in brisbane as her face swelled up & her eyes swelled shut. I washed the bedded the second night there but it was nearly impossible to clean everything & still enjoy my family holiday. She was living on antihistamines for the stay. Also there was no phone reception and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. It would only work in the lounge room and not in any other room.

Having to pay extra for car parking is a complete rip off. Just include it in the total price from the start so when booking people know exactly how much they are paying.

good location
one apartment was quite dirty. couldn’t turn the fans on because there were massive chunks of dust and dirt coming off of them. given wrong keys so were locked out of that apartment. had to pay for parking and then garage remote wouldn’t work so had to find other parking. originally booked x2 3 bedrooms, changed to a 3 bedroom and a 2 bedroom and still charged the same amount with one guest sleeping on couch.

Location on the creek, access to town, generous size of rooms and kitchen facilities, actually facilities overall.
Tired apartment and block; paint job would help. Apartment needs deep clean - fans and shutters had obvious grime and mould. WiFi unreliable and most areas of apartment access impossible. Be careful regarding Parking charges - we did not book parking but found out on check out it was charged automatically. We are still waiting for refund

Location was perfect, so close to shop, restaurants, the river, walkway, beach. I didn't have to use my car! Everything in walking distance! View of the river from unit was so beautiful and relaxing! Unit very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful breeze off river flows right through unit.

Prime position in kingscliff and within walking distance to shops, cafes, pub, club and restaurants. Beautiful view from balcony.
After being given the keys, we were told it would be ready at 2.30. Arrived at 2.30 and apartment had not been serviced
Security gate was non existent, no garage available as there was no remote available to access shared garage. Paradiso staff were very accommodating and had apartment serviced very quickly and tried their hardest to provide access to shared garage, but unfortunately it never happened, despite trying to get a technician to provide access to garage.
Apartment 16 was very disappointing. Old furniture, cracked leather lounge, stained carpets, dirty windows, the list goes on. We have stayed in apartment 5 and it was very clean and beautifully furnished.
Also, could not leave front door open as there was a hole in the screen door where the lock is, but no key to deadlock screen.

The apartment size is typical of older design ie very large and spacious. As per photos and as advertised.
A great breeze all day kept us nice and comfy. Excellent views of river and bush close to an ocean and river beach. Lots of good inclusions like books and bean bag. Local coffee and Thai restaurants are good. Nearby Salt village has a huge choice also. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
Cost of parking is exorbitant and should be included in the overall cost. Resort main gate is permanently broken and insecure. It should be made clear that there is no aircon even though most days of the year it is not required. The small print advice is insufficient.

The Location
The main Bathroom shower door is broken and dangerous. The ensuite had no toilet roll holder. There was dust on the bedside tables and in corners of the floor. The arm rest of the lounge needs repair. There is a lamp in the room however no power point. Fly screens needed cleaning and repair. The mirror in main room needed a good proper wipe down. The toilet seat in main bathroom needs to be replaced. No AirConditioner. Light Globe blown in main bathroom.

We have stayed here many times as I love the location. We swam in the creek every day, walked to the beach and shops, sat on the balcony and watched the passing parade on the walkway and in the water. It was nice and quiet at night.
Wifi was non existent, could not make or receive phone calls from a lot of areas in the apartment. This visit we were in room 16 and it was not furnished or maintained to the same level as the other apartments that we have stayed in over the years. The clothes dryer did not work, the sink smelt. The apartment needed a good clean and 'refresher'.
There was not the same level of security as in previous years. The main gate to drive in was propped open at all times and often the gates from the front walkway were left open.

Location, location, location. The apartments would have been awesome in their day but needs attention to the little things. Still was a great couple of days away. We would be happy to return in the future.
Lack of cleaning equipment, mop was broken, silicon coming away in shower door, floors had been swept but was sticky from not being mopped for a while, workmen working in unit above is making a racket on both mornings and blocking out vehicle access. Internet was no existent.
