Eines unserer Highlights auf unserer Südafrikareise.

Das Essen war ein Traum und die Landschaft sowie die Unterkunft waren einfach nur suuuper.

Am ersten Tag, gab es kein Wifi was ein Problem war, konnte jedoch am 2. Tag behoben werden.

Schöne Unterkünfte, super Frühstück, tolle Angebote auf der Farm (Picknick, Shuttle Service über das Gelände, Shop, zwei Restaurants, Endstation der Wine Tram, …), nettes Personal

Naturpool bei den Cottages, aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau

Farm living at it’s best! Peaceful and tranquil just what we needed!

Farm living at it’s best! Beautiful and scenery just amazing. Warm and friendly staff, make you feel right at home. On arrival welcome basket with freshly packed farm goodies! We loved that. Wood and firelighters came in handy for making cosy fire for the rainy weather

Well these rooms were not inside the main vineyard. Neither did the rooms have a view of the estate! Location was not good at all.

wonderful stay with so much to explore

Stunning location, wonderful staff who were very helpful and adorable welcome box upon our arrival with the best Pastel de Natas we’ve ever had. it was a really special evening!

Beautiful cottage, stunning natural pool and lovely breakfast

We stayed in the retreat cottages, which are very comfortable. There is a beautiful natural pool with a stunning view. The breakfast was amazing, not to much choice, but everything was delicious.

In terms of sustainability I would recommend to check with the guests if they would like to have clean towels on daily basis. Now they just replaced them while I think its not needed. Much water can be saved.

A Beautiful romantic stay with great activities and lovely picnic.

the surroundings where beautiful and the friendly service. the activities offered on the property.

Our dinner at the Deli wasn’t as good as our previous stay 2 years ago.

Luxury stay with everything one can dream.

Excellent and magnificent area with a living farm, great food and a nice network of hiking, running and biking trails. Great swimming pool. Breakfast with service at the table. Horseback riding facilities. Very friendly staff at the reception.

More explanation of all the available facilities would have been helpful.

beautiful place to stay!

great location in the wine region, everything you need on site, pools, restaurant, play area for kids. the breakfast was the best we have had in South Africa. and we loved our private cottage had so much space for us and well decorated with very comfy beds

would of been nice to have more of a personal touch no one came to talk to us about the area or tell us about the wine.

Very good

The cleaning staff left the doors wide open. They remained like that until we arrived some hours later. I am missing a jacket. I called the hotel several times for them to check if they could look for the jacket and they kept saying they would come back to me, but they never even called.

orchard cottages are so peaceful and quiet. excellent breakfasts at the Werf

Ubers find it very hard to find the cottages - better to get Boschendal car over to main reception and get taxi from there

Beautiful venue. Would definitely return, focus on Mon-Thurs if you want a more peaceful visit.

Everything was top quality.

It's a top venue and thus very popular. Can be difficult to book a table at the restaurant / tastings / etc due to so much demand. We were too late on a couple of occasions. Friday night there was a farmers' market which was also heaving.

Best family holiday place in South Africa

Our best family holiday ever! The staff were excellent and very accomodating to our needs. We booked several meals with both the Werf and Deli restaurant which were very good. The children loved the summer camp mornings visiting the farm animals. Very well appointed cottages and farm shop with everything you need on site. Luxury feel in a secure and clean environment. In room massages available when booked in advance. Beautiful landscape and gardens around pool areas. Social activities available such as the night market on Fridays with live music if you fancy, picnics and estate tours. Great location to visit the area and for wine tasting. The Werf breakfast and staff were legendary and we missed them already! We can't wait to go back again!

Hard to fault it! There were some wasp nests we had to ask to be removed. We stayed in the Orchard cottages, then the Trout cottage and finally the Retreat cottages. The Trout cottage is very charming, but it could do with some upgrading to some parts, e.g. windows. We could not use the outside area due to wasp nests everywhere which was disappointing given the stunning views and bird life.
