Nightmare on the beach

Horrible place. While arriving, the owner did not come on time we agreed with him earlier. Owners two dogs were guarding main door. On the phonecall owner said that ”dogs are ok, just go in”. Soon one of the dogs attacked me and I had a bleeding wound on my leg. After telling that the owner hanged up the call and never answered to my further messages. He also refused to give me full refund and no apologies.

excelente localização para ir à pé às praias

A localização é excelente para visitar as lindas praias próximas à pé, mesmo as um pouco mais distantes, para quem gosta de trilhas. Inclusive a casa é muito próxima de dois bons restaurantes. A recepção foi boa, perguntamos sobre passeio de barco e a surpresa foi que o proprietário faz. Fizemos com ele um passeio muito agradável. As instalações da casa são boas, cozinha equipada com o necessário para o café da manhã e refeições. Adoramos tudo!

Would be nice if the place offered any option for breakfast as there are not many options around.

Brilliant position. Its a tiny village so not a lot of amenities but a great beach a 10 minute walk away and fab views.

we had to wait a little bit to check in. the owner was diving in the ocean when we arrived at the time specified before.

Lovely little get away but bring your own coffee.

very quiet, superb location, close to the beach and good restaurants.

that there were no capsules for the coffee machine, we couldn’t have coffee in the morning!

Calm and cozy gem

Everything. The views from our cozy and clean room was great. The bathroom was also clean, big and comfy. It was really calm and literally 20-30 meters far from the ocean.

We wish we could've stayed longer. It's not their fault, but some street dogs were a bit noisy at night

Remote & peaceful!

The peace & quiet and tranquility of the place!

The Police guarding the entrance road were very forceful and grumpy...rude even! Twice we were screamed at!

Great location for Arrábida beaches

Great location in Arrábida Spacious and clean room

Communication from host wasn't great Issues with checking in Old pillows not comfortable Can be a bit noisy at night on Fri/Sat (dogs barking, restaurant opposite etc)

Superb

Location right by the beach in the heart of Porthino da Arrabida. Lovely view of the water. Lovely calm vibe, felt secluded and intimate.

There is not much in the location just a few restaurants and the beach, which is what we wanted- just an FYI if people expect more there. Would have liked a balcony.

Quaint seaside hotel, beautiful views

It was extremely close to the beach, 300m. Lovely views and a cute garden with a grill for the bbq. Lovely dog, lots of cats wandering about outside.

No sponge or washing up liquid to clean up plates in the room.

One night in paradise

Perfect place to stay one or two nights! Lovely house (portuguese/arrabida style) and room with a beautifull view on the sea. She owns the place for 20 years and takes care of her customers as her own family! Thank you vert much ❤️
