Haven of tranquility.

Uninterrupted relaxation, stylish design, and luxury at its finest. Nestled in the beautiful Lovedale area of the Hunter Valley, this hotel offers a seamless and informal experience. From the crisp white linen to the groovy furniture. This is a haven of tranquility. Our main to go option when we need some time off. I should mention the breathtaking sunset!

Private, modern, clean, comfortable

Location was nice and secluded. The room was very private while still giving us a nice view. Check-in over SMS was very easy.

Quiet, good view and comfortable bed.

I didn’t receive any email with the information about self check in, the pictures showed as if they have a restaurant near by or a place to cook, but it hasn’t.

The location was beautiful, the room was comfortable and the view was stunning

The shower was not practical at all. Every time someone took a shower it flooded the entire bathroom as there was nothing separating the shower to the rest of the bathroom. It was very slippery and I almost fell several times.

it was located in a very peaceful, serene part of the Hunter on a lovely property. very clean and owner was very helpful and professional

the floors were a little cold in the middle of winter, an extra mat or two next to the bed would have been great

It’s our third visit to Tonic. The king sized bed is so comfortable. It’s a great place to stay with our dog for a coupl

Although it was nice, it wasn't what we were expecting and a little overpriced for what it was

The outlook was beautiful. Lovely and quiet. The host Ian was lovely.

It was advertised on Booking.com as a hotel. It wasn't a hotel, it is more cabin style accommodation. The rooms has a polished concrete flooring so while being pet friendly in that sense was good but the room was cold. (there is an air conditioner). It needs some drawers in the bedroom area as the wardrobes/drawers are in the hallway next to the sink as you walk in the front door. Lastly, may I suggest that the owners put a small cereal, bread & butter pack together for a light breakfast option.

fabulous hotel, best pet friendly accommodation. can’t wait to go back.

it was a perfect pet friendly get away, it is so close to everything and the recommendations from Ian were spot on!

the only thing is all of the reviews mention breakfast but we didn’t have breakfast, not sure if that’s changed but just in case you book and think it’s included it might not be. we didn’t mind as we brought our own and went out but someone else might be disappointed.

very quiet location, but easy to drive to various wineries. Supplies for breakfast were very generous. Very understanding regarding covid enforced restrictions.

May not suit someone wanting “hotel facilities”.
