Bundaleer Cottage (little house amongst the trees) Ngadjuri meaning

Established in 2018, situated amongst the gum trees in the McLaren Vale Wine Region Bundaleer Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The cottage has two large comfortable bedrooms each with their own stunning bathrooms and television, The main King room has a double spa bath, and french doors leading on to the Alfresco. The open living area is spacious which includes, full kitchen facilities, a wood heater, dining area and TV lounge area. The Alfresco area includes a BBQ and open air dinning. At Bundaleer you can relax and enjoy our local region.
Wake to the song of kookaburras, rosellas, magpies and many native birds.
Close to Wineries, Award Winning Restaurants, Walking Trails, Native Reserves, and the Onkaparinga River National Park. A 14 minute drive to the Beach, a 10 minute drive to the famous Willunga Produce Market in the Historic Willunga Township and many more local attractions.

Note: When booking for two people and you need both bedrooms, a service fee of $60 applies for the second room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the fireplace!! Our dogs Ruby and Snickers would love to pass on their thank you for the delicious treats and the comfortable beds by the fire. Can’t wait to come back again! Thank you guys.

This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at. Immaculately presented and clean with all the ammenities you could possibly need. The bed and sofas were comfy, along with high quality linens and towels all provided. Everything was thought of, including little extras for us and our pup. Beautiful walking trails with lots of dog friendly wineries along the way so you can leave the car and explore. Everything you need for a perfect getaway is at your finger tips. We HIGHLY recommend Bundaleer Cottage. Thanks Jane and Mick for a great stay.

We couldn't have been happier with the cottage. Modern, clean, stylish, cosy and with so many thoughtful touches. The hosts provided lots of extras such as fresh bread, eggs, bacon and more and also provide anything you might need for your dog if they stay with you. The surrounds are also lovely and peaceful and it was a good spot to visit the local wineries.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Bundaleer. When we first arrived it was “oh wow” every where we looked. The property is superb, so well catered for we didn’t need a thing. Welcoming bottle of wine, fire stacked ready to light and enough wood for our stay. Our two miniature schnauzers were also welcome and everything set up for them. Two smackos in dogs bowls was a lovely touch.

Beautiful house in peaceful country location. Everything was perfect for a quiet getaway. Generous breakfast provisions and even biscuits for our dog on arrival. Kookaburras, cockatoos, rosellas, kangaroos and more to watch over a glass of wine on the verandah. Wish we had stayed longer.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see a beautiful clean, modern cottage with a homely feel. Soft music was playing, and it smelled lovely. There was a bottle of wine for us, and little treats for the dogs. The beds were comfortable, and we were surrounded by birdsong. I felt rejuvenated after having stayed here and look forward to visiting in the future.

Thanks Jane and Mick for being such thoughtful hosts! There were doggy biscuits waiting for our dogs upon our arrival and the house is just beautifully furnished and decorated and filled with plenty of thoughtful amenities. It is set upon the most relaxing of sceneries. Really enjoyed our stay here!

We loved our stay. Sparkling clean, welcoming and warm. Everything felt like new! Lovely Brekky food and some nice wine and cheese. We walked to The Currant Shed for lunch which was fabulous. Would definitely recommend this property!!

Less than an hour’s trip from city this beautifully appointed B&B is delightful getaway. A wine lovers paradise. The log fire is charming. It was also much enjoyed by all, especially our terrier who was made to feel welcome. We loved the bird life in the wonderful trees around the house.

My husband and I love staying in this beautiful cottage. It is always immaculately clean and you have everything you need. So close to everything in the stunning McLaren Vale Wine Region. It’s warm and inviting and feels like home. Easy to find and easy access.

The property was extremely comfortable and just as depicted on the website. Check in was easy and Jane provided plenty of provisions for breakfast even including wine, cheese and crackers for later. The wood fire was very welcome on wet and chilly evenings. We hope to return to this lovely peaceful property which was central to everything we wanted to see.

This is a perfect property for a short or long stay in a beautiful region. There is so much to do, but best of all the house is always kept spotlessly clean, the facilities are excellent, and there is a secure dog yard.

We had a wonderful weekend - 2 couples eating, drinking and experiencing the region. House is perfect everything you could think of is catered for beach towels, card games, breakfast and lots of very thoughtful touches. Love love love

The Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. We were so impressed with the attention to detail. The fridge was stocked with eggs, bacon, milk, orange juice, fruit along with bread and butter. There was a lovely bottle of wine from a lcoal winery which we enjoyed and then visited to buy some more. The cottage is has all you need to a relax and enjoy the wonderful area. We could not recommend it any higher - simply fantastic.

This was our second stay at Bundaleer Cottage. We just love it. It's beautiful, clean and so relaxing. Great care is taken by the hosts to make you feel like a valued guest, doggies too! Everything you could need is there and it makes your stay comfortable and very much like a home away from home. There are lovely views from every window and we even saw a kangaroo and black cockatoos on this stay. Thank you - we'll definitely be back. xo

This was the third time we have rented Bundaleer Cottage, and it has always been perfect. The house is extremely clean and well maintained, the supplies are generous and thoughtful, and the location is fantastic - a short drive to numerous wineries, restaurants, galleries, and the Willunga market. We love it here and so does our dog.
